Proverbs 13:1 A wise son [heareth] his father's instruction; But a scoffer heareth not rebuke.	Mga Proverbio 13:1 Ang usa ka manggialamon nga anak mamati sa pahamatngon sa iyang amahan; Apan ang usa ka mayubiton dili mamati sa pagbadlong.
Proverbs 13:2 A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth; But the soul of the treacherous [shall eat] violence.	Mga Proverbio 13:2 Ang tawo magakaon ug maayo pinaagi sa bunga sa iyang baba; Apan ang kalag sa maluibon magakaon sa pagpanlupig.
Proverbs 13:3 He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life; [But] he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.	Mga Proverbio 13:3 Kadtong nagabantay sa iyang baba nagamatngon sa iyang kinabuhi; Apan kadtong nagawalis sa halapad gayud sa iyang mga ngabil adunay kadautan.
Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.	Mga Proverbio 13:4 Ang kalag sa tapulan nagatinguha, ug siya walay bisan unsa; Apan ang kalag sa makugihon mahimong matambok,
Proverbs 13:5 A righteous man hateth lying; But a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.	Mga Proverbio 13:5 Ang usa ka tawo nga matarung magadumot sa pagpamakak; Apan ang usa ka dautang tawo makaluod, ug modangat sa kaulawon.
Proverbs 13:6 Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way; But wickedness overthroweth the sinner.	Mga Proverbio 13:6 Ang pagkamatarung nagabantay niadtong matul-id sa iyang dalan; Apan ang kadautan mopukan sa makasasala.
Proverbs 13:7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: There is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great wealth.	Mga Proverbio 13:7 Adunay magapakadato sa iyang kaugalingon, apan siya walay bisan unsa; Adunay magapakakabus sa iyang kaugalingon, apan siya may dakung katigayonan.
Proverbs 13:8 The ransom of a man's life is his riches; But the poor heareth no threatening.	Mga Proverbio 13:8 Ang lukat sa usa ka tawo sa iyang kinabuhi mao ang iyang mga bahandi; Apan ang kabus dili mamati sa bisan unsay paghulga.
Proverbs 13:9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth; But the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.	Mga Proverbio 13:9 Ang kahayag sa matarung malipayon; Apan ang lamparahan sa dautan pagapalongon.
Proverbs 13:10 By pride cometh only contention; But with the well-advised is wisdom.	Mga Proverbio 13:10 Tungod sa pagkamapahitas-on modangat lamang ang panagkabingkil; Apan sa maayong tinambagan mao ang kaalam.
Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished; But he that gathereth by labor shall have increase.	Mga Proverbio 13:11 Ang katigayonan nga maani sa kakawangan magakahanaw; Apan kadtong nagatigum pinaagi sa pagpamoo adunay kauswagan.
Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick; But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.	Mga Proverbio 13:12 Ang paglaum nga makulangan makapadaut sa kasingkasing; Apan kong ang tinguha modangat, kana mao ang usa ka kahoy sa kinabuhi.
Proverbs 13:13 Whoso despiseth the word bringeth destruction on himself; But he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.	Mga Proverbio 13:13 Bisan kinsa nga magatamay sa pulong magadala ug kadaut sa iyang kaugalingon; Apan kadtong mahadlok sa kasugoan pagabalusan.
Proverbs 13:14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death.	Mga Proverbio 13:14 Ang balaod sa manggialamon maoy usa ka tuburan sa kinabuhi, Aron nga ang usa makalikay gikan sa mga lit-ag sa kamatayon.
Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favor; But the way of the transgressor is hard.	Mga Proverbio 13:15 Ang maayong pagsabut mohatag ug kalooy; Apan ang dalan sa malapason maoy malisud.
Proverbs 13:16 Every prudent man worketh with knowledge; But a fool flaunteth [his] folly.	Mga Proverbio 13:16 Ang tagsatagsa ka buotan nga tawo magabuhat uban sa kahibalo; Apan ang buang magapagarbo sa iyang binuang.
Proverbs 13:17 A wicked messenger falleth into evil; But a faithful ambassador is health.	Mga Proverbio 13:17 Ang usa ka dautan nga sinugo mahulog ngadto sa kadaut; Apan ang usa ka matinumanon nga sinaligan maoy makaayo.
Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame [shall be to] him that refuseth correction; But he that regardeth reproof shall be honored.	Mga Proverbio 13:18 Ang kawalad-on ug kaulaw modangat kaniya nga magadumili sa pagsaway; Apan kadtong manumbaling sa pagbadlong pagapasidunggan.
Proverbs 13:19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; But it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.	Mga Proverbio 13:19 Ang tinguha nga natuman maoy katam-is sa kalag; Apan maoy usa ka dulumtanan sa mga buang ang pagbiya gikan sa dautan.
Proverbs 13:20 Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise; But the companion of fools shall smart for it.	Mga Proverbio 13:20 Lakat uban sa tawong manggialamon, ug ikaw mahimong manggialamon; Apan ang kauban sa mga buang magaantus tungod niana.
Proverbs 13:21 Evil pursueth sinners; But the righteous shall be recompensed with good.	Mga Proverbio 13:21 Ang dautan nagalutos sa mga makasasala; Apan ang matarung pagabalusan uban sa maayo.
Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.	Mga Proverbio 13:22 Ang usa ka maayong tawo magabilin ug usa ka panulondon alang sa mga anak sa iyang mga anak; Ug ang katigayonan sa mga makasasala gitigum alang sa mga matarung.
Proverbs 13:23 Much food [is in] the tillage of the poor; But there is that is destroyed by reason of injustice.	Mga Proverbio 13:23 Daghan ang makaon diha sa binaulan nga yuta sa kabus; Apan adunay pagalaglagon tungod sa pagkawalay-justicia.
Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son; But he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.	Mga Proverbio 13:24 Kadtong nagahawid sa iyang bunal nagadumot sa iyang anak; Apan kadtong nahagugma kaniya magacastigo kaniya sa matag-panahon.
Proverbs 13:25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul; But the belly of the wicked shall want.	Mga Proverbio 13:25 Ang matarung magakaon aron sa pagpabusog sa iyang kalag; Apan ang tiyan sa mga dautan pagagutomon.
