Proverbs 22	Mga Proverbio 22
Proverbs 22:1 A [good] name is rather to be chosen than great riches, [And] loving favor rather than silver and gold.	Mga Proverbio 22:1 Ang usa ka maayong ngalan labi pang maayong pilion kay sa dagkung mga bahandi, Ug ang mahigugmaong-kalooy kay sa salapi ug bulawan.
Proverbs 22:2 The rich and the poor meet together: Jehovah is the maker of them all.	Mga Proverbio 22:2 Ang adunahan ug ang kabus magakahibalag sila: Si Jehova mao ang nagbuhat kanilang tanan.
Proverbs 22:3 A prudent man seeth the evil, and hideth himself; But the simple pass on, and suffer for it.	Mga Proverbio 22:3 Ang usa ka buotan nga tawo makakita sa dautan, ug magatago sa iyang kaugalingon; Apan ang walay-pagtagad molabay lamang ug magaantus tungod niini.
Proverbs 22:4 The reward of humility [and] the fear of Jehovah [Is] riches, and honor, and life.	Mga Proverbio 22:4 Ang balus sa pagkamapaubsanon ug pagkahadlok kang Jehova Mao ang pagkaadunahan, ug kadungganan, ug kinabuhi.

Proverbs 22:13 The sluggard saith, There is a lion without: I shall be slain in the streets.	Mga Proverbio 22:13 Ang tapulan nagaingon: Adunay usa ka leon sa gawas; Ako pagapatyon diha sa kadalanan.
Proverbs 22:14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: He that is abhorred of Jehovah shall fall therein.	Mga Proverbio 22:14 Ang baba sa mga dumuloong babaye maoy usa ka halalum nga gahong; Siya nga gidumtan ni Jehova mahulog niana.
Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; [But] the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.	Mga Proverbio 22:15 Ang mga binuang nabugkos diha sa kasingkasing sa usa ka bata; Apan ang bunal sa pagbadlong magapalabog niana sa halayo gikan kaniya.
Proverbs 22:16 He that oppresseth the poor to increase his [gain], [And] he that giveth to the rich, [shall come] only to want.	Mga Proverbio 22:16 Kadtong magadaugdaug sa kabus aron sa pagdugang sa iyang ganancia, Ug kadtong magahatag sa adunahan, modangat lamang sa kawalad-on.
Proverbs 22:17 Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And apply thy heart unto my knowledge.	Mga Proverbio 22:17 Ikiling ang imong igdulungog, ug pamatia ang mga pulong sa manggialamon, Ug ibutang ang imong kasingkasing sa akong kahibalo.
Proverbs 22:18 For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee, If they be established together upon thy lips.	Mga Proverbio 22:18 Kay kini maoy butang nga makalilipay kong ikaw magatipig kanila diha kanimo, Kong sila mahiluna pagtingub diha sa imong mga ngabil.
Proverbs 22:19 That thy trust may be in Jehovah, I have made [them] known to thee this day, even to thee.	Mga Proverbio 22:19 Aron ang imong pagsalig mahaanha kang Jehova, Akong gipahibalo kanimo sila niining adlawa, bisan kanimo.
Proverbs 22:20 Have not I written unto thee excellent things Of counsels and knowledge,	Mga Proverbio 22:20 Wala ba ako makasulat kanimo ug mga maayo uyamut nga mga butang Sa mga tambag ug kahibalo,
Proverbs 22:21 To make thee know the certainty of the words of truth, That thou mayest carry back words of truth to them that send thee?	Mga Proverbio 22:21 Aron sa pagpahibalo kanimo sa kasayuran sa mga pulong sa kamatuoran, Aron ikaw magadala pagbalik sa mga pulong sa kamatuoran ngadto kanila nga nagasugo kanimo?
Proverbs 22:22 Rob not the poor, because he is poor; Neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:	Mga Proverbio 22:22 Ayaw pagkawati ang kabus tungod kay siya kabus; Ni magadaugdaug ka sa mga sinakit diha sa ganghaan:
Proverbs 22:23 For Jehovah will plead their cause, And despoil of life those that despoil them.	Mga Proverbio 22:23 Kay si Jehova magalaban sa ilang katungod, Ug moagaw sa kinabuhi niadtong nangagaw kanila.
Proverbs 22:24 Make no friendship with a man that is given to anger; And with a wrathful man thou shalt not go:	Mga Proverbio 22:24 Ayaw pagpakighigala sa usa ka tawo nga maligut-guton; Ug sa masuk-anon nga tawo dili ka makigkuyog:
Proverbs 22:25 Lest thou learn this ways, And get a snare to thy soul.	Mga Proverbio 22:25 Tingali unya ikaw makakat-on sa iyang mga dalan, Ug makabaton ka sa lit-ag sa imong kalag.
Proverbs 22:26 Be thou not one of them that strike hands, [Or] of them that are sureties for debts.	Mga Proverbio 22:26 Dili ka paisip nga usa kanila nga nagapanghampak sa kamot, Kun kanila nga maoy mga pasalig tungod sa mga utang.
Proverbs 22:27 If thou hast not wherewith to pay, Why should he take away thy bed from under thee?	Mga Proverbio 22:27 Kong ikaw walay kapaingnan sa pagbayad, Nganong iyang kuhaon ang imong higdaanan nga anaa sa ilalum nimo?
Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, Which thy fathers have set.	Mga Proverbio 22:28 Ayaw pagbalhina ang karaan nga mohon sa yuta, Nga gibutang sa imong mga amahan.
Proverbs 22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; He shall not stand before mean men.	Mga Proverbio 22:29 Nakita mo ba ang usa ka tawo nga masingkamoton sa iyang patigayon? siya magatindog sa atubangan sa mga hari; Siya dili magatindog sa atubangan sa bastos nga mga tawo.
