Job 35:1 Moreover Elihu answered and said,	Job 35:1 Élihu reprit et dit:
Job 35:2 Thinkest thou this to be [thy] right, [Or] sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,	Job 35:2 Imagines-tu avoir raison, Penses-tu te justifier devant Dieu,
Job 35:3 That thou sayest, What advantage will it be unto thee? [And], What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?	Job 35:3 Quand tu dis: Que me sert-il, Que me revient-il de ne pas pécher?
Job 35:4 I will answer thee, And thy companions with thee.	Job 35:4 C`est à toi que je vais répondre, Et à tes amis en même temps.
Job 35:5 Look unto the heavens, and see; And behold the skies, which are higher than thou.	Job 35:5 Considère les cieux, et regarde! Vois les nuées, comme elles sont au-dessus de toi!
Job 35:6 If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him? And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?	Job 35:6 Si tu pèches, quel tort lui causes-tu? Et quand tes péchés se multiplient, que lui fais-tu?
Job 35:7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? Or what receiveth he of thy hand?	Job 35:7 Si tu es juste, que lui donnes-tu? Que reçoit-il de ta main?
Job 35:8 Thy wickedness [may hurt] a man as thou art; And thy righteousness [may profit] a son of man.	Job 35:8 Ta méchanceté ne peut nuire qu`à ton semblable, Ta justice n`est utile qu`au fils de l`homme.
Job 35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.	Job 35:9 On crie contre la multitude des oppresseurs, On se plaint de la violence d`un grand nombre;
Job 35:10 But none saith, Where is God my Maker, Who giveth songs in the night,	Job 35:10 Mais nul ne dit: Où est Dieu, mon créateur, Qui inspire des chants d`allégresse pendant la nuit,
Job 35:11 Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, And maketh us wiser than the birds of the heavens?	Job 35:11 Qui nous instruit plus que les bêtes de la terre, Et nous donne l`intelligence plus qu`aux oiseaux du ciel?
Job 35:12 There they cry, but none giveth answer, Because of the pride of evil men.	Job 35:12 On a beau crier alors, Dieu ne répond pas, A cause de l`orgueil des méchants.
Job 35:13 Surely God will not hear an empty [cry], Neither will the Almighty regard it.	Job 35:13 C`est en vain que l`on crie, Dieu n`écoute pas, Le Tout Puissant n`y a point égard.
Job 35:14 How much less when thou sayest thou beholdest him not, The cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!	Job 35:14 Bien que tu dises que tu ne le vois pas, Ta cause est devant lui: attends-le!
Job 35:15 But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, Neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;	Job 35:15 Mais, parce que sa colère ne sévit point encore, Ce n`est pas à dire qu`il ait peu souci du crime.
Job 35:16 Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vanity; He multiplieth words without knowledge.	Job 35:16 Ainsi Job ouvre vainement la bouche, Il multiplie les paroles sans intelligence.
