Psalms 42:1 For the Chief Musician. Maschil of the sons of Korah. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, So panteth my soul after thee, O God.	Psalmen 42:1 Wie der Hirsch schreit nach frischem Wasser, so schreit meine Seele, Gott, zu dir.
Psalms 42:2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: When shall I come and appear before God?	Psalmen 42:2 Meine Seele dürstet nach Gott, nach dem lebendigen Gott. Wann werde ich dahin kommen, daß ich Gottes Angesicht schaue?
Psalms 42:3 My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?	Psalmen 42:3 Meine Tränen sind meine Speise Tag und Nacht, weil man täglich zu mir sagt: Wo ist nun dein Gott?
Psalms 42:4 These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, How I went with the throng, and led them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping holyday.	Psalmen 42:4 Wenn ich des innewerde, so schütte ich mein Herz aus bei mir selbst; denn ich wollte gerne hingehen mit dem Haufen und mit ihnen wallen zum Hause Gottes mit Frohlocken und Danken unter dem Haufen derer, die da feiern.
Psalms 42:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And [why] art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him [For] the help of his countenance.	Psalmen 42:5 Was betrübst du dich, meine Seele, und bist so unruhig in mir? Harre auf Gott! denn ich werde ihm noch danken, daß er mir hilft mit seinem Angesicht.
Psalms 42:6 O my God, my soul is cast down within me: Therefore do I remember thee from the land of the Jordan, And the Hermons, from the hill Mizar.	Psalmen 42:6 Mein Gott, betrübt ist meine Seele in mir; darum gedenke ich an dich im Lande am Jordan und Hermonim, auf dem kleinen Berg.
Psalms 42:7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterfalls: All thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.	Psalmen 42:7 Deine Fluten rauschen daher, daß hier eine Tiefe und da eine Tiefe brausen; alle deine Wasserwogen und Wellen gehen über mich.
Psalms 42:8 [Yet] Jehovah will command his lovingkindness in the day-time; And in the night his song shall be with me, [Even] a prayer unto the God of my life.	Psalmen 42:8 Der HERR hat des Tages verheißen seine Güte, und des Nachts singe ich ihm und bete zu dem Gott meines Lebens.
Psalms 42:9 I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?	Psalmen 42:9 Ich sage zu Gott, meinem Fels: Warum hast du mein vergessen? Warum muß ich so traurig gehen, wenn mein Feind mich drängt?
Psalms 42:10 As with a sword in my bones, mine adversaries reproach me, While they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?	Psalmen 42:10 Es ist als ein Mord in meinen Gebeinen, daß mich meine Feinde schmähen, wenn sie täglich zu mir sagen: Wo ist nun dein Gott?
Psalms 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, [Who is] the help of my countenance, and my God.	Psalmen 42:11 Was betrübst du dich, meine Seele, und bist so unruhig in mir? Harre auf Gott! denn ich werde ihm noch danken, daß er meines Angesichts Hilfe und mein Gott ist.
