Acts 4:1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came upon them,	Atti degli Apostoli 4:1 Or mentr’essi parlavano al popolo, i sacerdoti e il capitano del tempio e i Sadducei sopraggiunsero,
Acts 4:2 being sore troubled because they taught the people, and proclaimed in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:2 essendo molto crucciati perché ammaestravano il popolo e annunziavano in Gesù la risurrezione dei morti.
Acts 4:3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in ward unto the morrow: for it was now eventide.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:3 E misero loro le mani addosso, e li posero in prigione fino al giorno seguente, perché già era sera.
Acts 4:4 But many of them that heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:4 Ma molti di coloro che aveano udito la Parola credettero; e il numero degli uomini salì a circa cinquemila.
Acts 4:5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers and elders and scribes were gathered together in Jerusalem;	Atti degli Apostoli 4:5 E il dì seguente, i loro capi, con gli anziani e gli scribi, si radunarono in Gerusalemme,
Acts 4:6 and Annas the high priest [was there], and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:6 con Anna, il sommo sacerdote, e Caiàfa, e Giovanni, e Alessandro e tutti quelli che erano della famiglia dei sommi sacerdoti.
Acts 4:7 And when they had set them in the midst, they inquired, By what power, or in what name, have ye done this?	Atti degli Apostoli 4:7 E fatti comparir quivi in mezzo Pietro e Giovanni, domandarono: Con qual podestà, o in nome di chi avete voi fatto questo?
Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders,	Atti degli Apostoli 4:8 Allora Pietro, ripieno dello Spirito Santo, disse loro: Rettori del popolo ed anziani,
Acts 4:9 if we this day are examined concerning a good deed done to an impotent man, by what means this man is made whole;	Atti degli Apostoli 4:9 se siamo oggi esaminati circa un beneficio fatto a un uomo infermo, per sapere com’è che quest’uomo è stato guarito,
Acts 4:10 be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] in him doth this man stand here before you whole.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:10 sia noto a tutti voi e a tutto il popolo d’Israele che ciò è stato fatto nel nome di Gesù Cristo il Nazareno, che voi avete crocifisso, e che Dio ha risuscitato dai morti; in virtù d’esso quest’uomo comparisce guarito, in presenza vostra.
Acts 4:11 He is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:11 Egli è la pietra che è stata da voi edificatori sprezzata, ed è divenuta la pietra angolare.
Acts 4:12 And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Acts 4:13 Now when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:13 Or essi, veduta la franchezza di Pietro e di Giovanni, e avendo capito che erano popolani senza istruzione, si maravigliavano e riconoscevano che erano stati con Gesù.
Acts 4:14 And seeing the man that was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:14 E vedendo l’uomo, ch’era stato guarito, quivi presente con loro, non potevano dir nulla contro.
Acts 4:15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,	Atti degli Apostoli 4:15 Ma quand’ebbero comandato loro di uscire dal concistoro, conferiron fra loro dicendo:
Acts 4:16 saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been wrought through them, is manifest to all that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:16 Che faremo a questi uomini? Che un evidente miracolo sia stato fatto per loro mezzo, è noto a tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme, e noi non lo possiamo negare.
Acts 4:17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:17 Ma affinché ciò non si sparga maggiormente fra il popolo, divietiam loro con minacce che non parlino più ad alcuno in questo nome.
Acts 4:18 And they called them, and charged them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:18 E avendoli chiamati, ingiunsero loro di non parlare né insegnare affatto nel nome di Gesù.
Acts 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken unto you rather than unto God, judge ye:	Atti degli Apostoli 4:19 Ma Pietro e Giovanni, rispondendo, dissero loro: Giudicate voi se è giusto, nel cospetto di Dio, di ubbidire a voi anzi che a Dio.
Acts 4:20 for we cannot but speak the things which we saw and heard.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:20 Poiché, quanto a noi, non possiamo non parlare delle cose che abbiam vedute e udite.
Acts 4:21 And they, when they had further threatened them, let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people; for all men glorified God for that which was done.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:21 Ed essi, minacciatili di nuovo, li lasciarono andare, non trovando nulla da poterli castigare, per cagion del popolo; perché tutti glorificavano Iddio per quel ch’era stato fatto.
Acts 4:22 For the man was more than forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was wrought.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:22 Poiché l’uomo in cui questo miracolo della guarigione era stato compiuto, avea più di quarant’anni.
Acts 4:23 And being let go, they came to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said unto them.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:23 Or essi, essendo stati rimandati vennero ai loro, e riferirono tutte le cose che i capi sacerdoti e gli anziani aveano loro dette.
Acts 4:24 And they, when they heard it, lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, O Lord, thou that didst make the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that in them is:	Atti degli Apostoli 4:24 Ed essi, uditele, alzaron di pari consentimento la voce a Dio, e dissero: Signore, tu sei Colui che ha fatto il cielo, la terra, il mare e tutte le cose che sono in essi;
Acts 4:25 who by the Holy Spirit, [by] the mouth of our father David thy servant, didst say, Why did the Gentiles rage, And the peoples imagine vain things?	Atti degli Apostoli 4:25 Colui che mediante lo Spirito Santo, per bocca del padre nostro e tuo servitore Davide, ha detto: Perché hanno fremuto le genti, e hanno i popoli divisate cose vane?
Acts 4:26 The kings of the earth set themselves in array, And the rulers were gathered together, Against the Lord, and against his Anointed:	Atti degli Apostoli 4:26 I re della terra si son fatti avanti, e i principi si son raunati assieme contro al Signore, e contro al suo Unto.
Acts 4:27 for of a truth in this city against thy holy Servant Jesus, whom thou didst anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together,	Atti degli Apostoli 4:27 E invero in questa città, contro al tuo santo Servitore Gesù che tu hai unto, si son raunati Erode e Ponzio Pilato, insiem coi Gentili e con tutto il popolo d’Israele,
Acts 4:28 to do whatsoever thy hand and thy council foreordained to come to pass.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:28 per far tutte le cose che la tua mano e il tuo consiglio aveano innanzi determinato che avvenissero.
Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness,	Atti degli Apostoli 4:29 E adesso, Signore, considera le loro minacce, e concedi ai tuoi servitori di annunziar la tua parola con ogni franchezza,
Acts 4:30 while thy stretchest forth thy hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of thy holy Servant Jesus.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:30 stendendo la tua mano per guarire, e perché si faccian segni e prodigi mediante il nome del tuo santo Servitore Gesù.
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken wherein they were gathered together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:31 E dopo ch’ebbero pregato, il luogo dov’erano raunati tremò; e furon tutti ripieni dello Spirito Santo, e annunziavano la parola di Dio con franchezza.
Acts 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and soul: and not one [of them] said that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:32 E la moltitudine di coloro che aveano creduto, era d’un sol cuore e d’un’anima sola; né v’era chi dicesse sua alcuna delle cose che possedeva, ma tutto era comune tra loro.
Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles their witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:33 E gli apostoli con gran potenza rendevan testimonianza della risurrezione del Signor Gesù; e gran grazia era sopra tutti loro.
Acts 4:34 For neither was there among them any that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,	Atti degli Apostoli 4:34 Poiché non v’era alcun bisognoso fra loro; perché tutti coloro che possedevan poderi o case li vendevano, portavano il prezzo delle cose vendute,
Acts 4:35 and laid them at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto each, according as any one had need.	Atti degli Apostoli 4:35 e lo mettevano ai piedi degli apostoli; poi, era distribuito a ciascuno, secondo il bisogno.
Acts 4:36 And Joseph, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, Son of exhortation), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race,	Atti degli Apostoli 4:36 Or Giuseppe, soprannominato dagli apostoli Barnaba (il che, interpretato, vuol dire: Figliuol di consolazione), levita, cipriota di nascita,
