Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord?	Jó 41:1 Poderás tirar com anzol o leviatã, ou apertar-lhe a língua com uma corda?
Job 41:2 Canst thou put a rope into his nose? Or pierce his jaw through with a hook?	Jó 41:2 Poderás meter-lhe uma corda de junco no nariz, ou com um gancho furar a sua queixada?
Job 41:3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? Or will he speak soft words unto thee?	Jó 41:3 Porventura te fará muitas súplicas, ou brandamente te falará?
Job 41:4 Will he make a covenant with thee, That thou shouldest take him for a servant for ever?	Jó 41:4 Fará ele aliança contigo, ou o tomarás tu por servo para sempre?
Job 41:5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? Or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?	Jó 41:5 Brincarás com ele, como se fora um pássaro, ou o prenderás para tuas meninas?
Job 41:6 Will the bands [of fishermen] make traffic of him? Will they part him among the merchants?	Jó 41:6 Farão os sócios de pesca tráfico dele, ou o dividirão entre os negociantes?
Job 41:7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons, Or his head with fish-spears?	Jó 41:7 Poderás encher-lhe a pele de arpões, ou a cabeça de fisgas?
Job 41:8 Lay thy hand upon him; Remember the battle, and do so no more.	Jó 41:8 Põe a tua mão sobre ele; lembra-te da peleja; nunca mais o farás!
Job 41:9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: Will not one be cast down even at the sight of him?	Jó 41:9 Eis que é vã a esperança de apanhá-lo; pois não será um homem derrubado só ao vê-lo?
Job 41:10 None is so fierce that he dare stir him up; Who then is he that can stand before me?	Jó 41:10 Ninguém há tão ousado, que se atreva a despertá-lo; quem, pois, é aquele que pode erguer-se diante de mim?
Job 41:11 Who hath first given unto me, that I should repay him? [Whatsoever is] under the whole heaven is mine.	Jó 41:11 Quem primeiro me deu a mim, para que eu haja de retribuir-lhe? Pois tudo quanto existe debaixo de todo céu é meu.
Job 41:12 I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, Nor his mighty strength, nor his goodly frame.	Jó 41:12 Não me calarei a respeito dos seus membros, nem da sua grande força, nem da graça da sua estrutura.
Job 41:13 Who can strip off his outer garment? Who shall come within his jaws?	Jó 41:13 Quem lhe pode tirar o vestido exterior? Quem lhe penetrará a couraça dupla?
Job 41:14 Who can open the doors of his face? Round about his teeth is terror.	Jó 41:14 Quem jamais abriu as portas do seu rosto? Pois em roda dos seus dentes está o terror.
Job 41:15 [His] strong scales are [his] pride, Shut up together [as with] a close seal.	Jó 41:15 As suas fortes escamas são o seu orgulho, cada uma fechada como por um selo apertado.
Job 41:16 One is so near to another, That no air can come between them.	Jó 41:16 Uma à outra se chega tão perto, que nem o ar passa por entre elas.
Job 41:17 They are joined one to another; They stick together, so that they cannot be sundered.	Jó 41:17 Umas às outras se ligam; tanto aderem entre si, que não se podem separar.
Job 41:18 His sneezings flash forth light, And his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.	Jó 41:18 Os seus espirros fazem resplandecer a luz, e os seus olhos são como as pestanas da alva.
Job 41:19 Out of his mouth go burning torches, And sparks of fire leap forth.	Jó 41:19 Da sua boca saem tochas; faíscas de fogo saltam dela.
Job 41:20 Out of his nostrils a smoke goeth, As of a boiling pot and [burning] rushes.	Jó 41:20 Dos seus narizes procede fumaça, como de uma panela que ferve, e de juncos que ardem.
Job 41:21 His breath kindleth coals, And a flame goeth forth from his mouth.	Jó 41:21 O seu hálito faz incender os carvões, e da sua boca sai uma chama.
Job 41:22 In his neck abideth strength, And terror danceth before him.	Jó 41:22 No seu pescoço reside a força; e diante dele anda saltando o terror.
Job 41:23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: They are firm upon him; they cannot be moved.	Jó 41:23 Os tecidos da sua carne estão pegados entre si; ela é firme sobre ele, não se pode mover.
Job 41:24 His heart is as firm as a stone; Yea, firm as the nether millstone.	Jó 41:24 O seu coração é firme como uma pedra; sim, firme como a pedra inferior dumá mó.
Job 41:25 When he raiseth himself up, the mighty are afraid: By reason of consternation they are beside themselves.	Jó 41:25 Quando ele se levanta, os valentes são atemorizados, e por causa da consternação ficam fora de si.
Job 41:26 If one lay at him with the sword, it cannot avail; Nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft.	Jó 41:26 Se alguém o atacar com a espada, essa não poderá penetrar; nem tampouco a lança, nem o dardo, nem o arpão.
Job 41:27 He counteth iron as straw, [And] brass as rotten wood.	Jó 41:27 Ele considera o ferro como palha, e o bronze como pau podre.
Job 41:28 The arrow cannot make him flee: Sling-stones are turned with him into stubble.	Jó 41:28 A seta não o poderá fazer fugir; para ele as pedras das fundas se tornam em restolho.
Job 41:29 Clubs are counted as stubble: He laugheth at the rushing of the javelin.	Jó 41:29 Os bastões são reputados como juncos, e ele se ri do brandir da lança.
Job 41:30 His underparts are [like] sharp potsherds: He spreadeth [as it were] a threshing-wain upon the mire.	Jó 41:30 Debaixo do seu ventre há pontas agudas; ele se estende como um trilho sobre o lodo.
Job 41:31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: He maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.	Jó 41:31 As profundezas faz ferver, como uma panela; torna o mar como uma vasilha de ungüento.
Job 41:32 He maketh a path to shine after him; One would think the deep to be hoary.	Jó 41:32 Após si deixa uma vereda luminosa; parece o abismo tornado em brancura de cãs.
Job 41:33 Upon earth there is not his like, That is made without fear.	Jó 41:33 Na terra não há coisa que se lhe possa comparar; pois foi feito para estar sem pavor.
Job 41:34 He beholdeth everything that is high: He is king over all the sons of pride.	Jó 41:34 Ele vê tudo o que é alto; é rei sobre todos os filhos da soberba.
