Genesis 23:1 And the life of Sarah was a hundred and seven and twenty years. These were the years of the life of Sarah.	Бытие 23:1 Жизни Сарриной было сто двадцать семь лет: [вот] лета жизни Сарриной;
Genesis 23:2 And Sarah died in Kiriath-arba (the same is Hebron), in the land of Canaan. And Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.	Бытие 23:2 и умерла Сарра в Кириаф-Арбе, что [ныне] Хеврон, в земле Ханаанской. И пришел Авраам рыдать по Сарре и оплакивать ее.
Genesis 23:3 And Abraham rose up from before his dead, and spake unto the children of Heth, saying,	Бытие 23:3 И отошел Авраам от умершей своей, и говорил сынам Хетовым, и сказал:
Genesis 23:4 I am a stranger and a sojourner with you. Give me a possession of a burying-place with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.	Бытие 23:4 я у вас пришлец и поселенец; дайте мне в собственность [место] [для] гроба между вами, чтобы мне умершую мою схоронить от глаз моих.
Genesis 23:5 And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him,	Бытие 23:5 Сыны Хета отвечали Аврааму и сказали ему:
Genesis 23:6 Hear us, my lord. Thou art a prince of God among us. In the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead. None of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.	Бытие 23:6 послушай нас, господин наш; ты князь Божий посреди нас; в лучшем из наших погребальных мест похорони умершую твою; никто из нас не откажет тебе в погребальном месте, для погребения умершей твоей.
Genesis 23:7 And Abraham rose up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth.	Бытие 23:7 Авраам встал и поклонился народу земли той, сынам Хетовым;
Genesis 23:8 And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight, hear me, and entreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,	Бытие 23:8 и говорил им и сказал: если вы согласны, чтобы я похоронил умершую мою, то послушайте меня, попросите за меня Ефрона, сына Цохарова,
Genesis 23:9 that he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he hath, which is in the end of his field. For the full price let him give it to me in the midst of you for a possession of a burying-place.	Бытие 23:9 чтобы он отдал мне пещеру Махпелу, которая у него на конце поля его, чтобы за довольную цену отдал ее мне посреди вас, в собственность для погребения.
Genesis 23:10 Now Ephron was sitting in the midst of the children of Heth. And Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying,	Бытие 23:10 Ефрон же сидел посреди сынов Хетовых; и отвечал Ефрон Хеттеянин Аврааму вслух сынов Хета, всех входящих во врата города его, и сказал:
Genesis 23:11 Nay, my lord, hear me. The field give I thee, and the cave that is therein, I give it thee. In the presence of the children of my people give I it thee. Bury thy dead.	Бытие 23:11 нет, господин мой, послушай меня: я даю тебе поле и пещеру, которая на нем, даю тебе, пред очами сынов народа моего дарю тебе ее, похорони умершую твою.
Genesis 23:12 And Abraham bowed himself down before the people of the land.	Бытие 23:12 Авраам поклонился пред народом земли той
Genesis 23:13 And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt, I pray thee, hear me. I will give the price of the field. Take it of me, and I will bury my dead there.	Бытие 23:13 и говорил Ефрону вслух народа земли той и сказал: если послушаешь, я даю тебе за поле серебро; возьми у меня, и я похороню там умершую мою.
Genesis 23:14 And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him,	Бытие 23:14 Ефрон отвечал Аврааму и сказал ему:
Genesis 23:15 My lord, hearken unto me. A piece of land worth four hundred shekels of silver, what is that betwixt me and thee? Bury therefore thy dead.	Бытие 23:15 господин мой! послушай меня: земля [стоит] четыреста сиклей серебра; для меня и для тебя что это? похорони умершую твою.
Genesis 23:16 And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron. And Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the audience of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current [money] with the merchant.	Бытие 23:16 Авраам выслушал Ефрона; и отвесил Авраам Ефрону серебра, сколько он объявил вслух сынов Хетовых, четыреста сиклей серебра, какое ходит у купцов.
Genesis 23:17 So the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the border thereof round about, were made sure	Бытие 23:17 И стало поле Ефроново, которое при Махпеле, против Мамре, поле и пещера, которая на нем, и все деревья, которые на поле, во всех пределах его вокруг,
Genesis 23:18 unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of his city.	Бытие 23:18 владением Авраамовым пред очами сынов Хета, всех входящих во врата города его.
Genesis 23:19 And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre (the same is Hebron), in the land of Canaan.	Бытие 23:19 После сего Авраам похоронил Сарру, жену свою, в пещере поля в Махпеле, против Мамре, что [ныне] Хеврон, в земле Ханаанской.
Genesis 23:20 And the field, and the cave that is therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a burying-place by the children of Heth.	Бытие 23:20 Так достались Аврааму от сынов Хетовых поле и пещера, которая на нем, в собственность для погребения.
