Job 9	Иов 9
Job 9:1 Then Job answered and said,	Иов 9:1 И отвечал Иов и сказал:
Job 9:2 Of a truth I know that it is so: But how can man be just with God?	Иов 9:2 правда! знаю, что так; но как оправдается человек пред Богом?
Job 9:3 If he be pleased to contend with him, He cannot answer him one of a thousand.	Иов 9:3 Если захочет вступить в прение с Ним, то не ответит Ему ни на одно из тысячи.
Job 9:4 [He is] wise in heart, and mighty in strength: Who hath hardened himself against him, and prospered?-	Иов 9:4 Премудр сердцем и могущ силою; кто восставал против Него и оставался в покое?
Job 9:5 [Him] that removeth the mountains, and they know it not, When he overturneth them in his anger;	Иов 9:5 Он передвигает горы, и не узнают их: Он превращает их в гневе Своем;
Job 9:6 That shaketh the earth out of its place, And the pillars thereof tremble;	Иов 9:6 сдвигает землю с места ее, и столбы ее дрожат;
Job 9:7 That commandeth the sun, and it riseth not, And sealeth up the stars;	Иов 9:7 скажет солнцу, --и не взойдет, и на звезды налагает печать.
Job 9:8 That alone stretcheth out the heavens, And treadeth upon the waves of the sea;	Иов 9:8 Он один распростирает небеса и ходит по высотам моря;
Job 9:9 That maketh the Bear, Orion, and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;	Иов 9:9 сотворил Ас, Кесиль и Хима (1) и тайники юга;
Job 9:10 That doeth great things past finding out, Yea, marvellous things without number.	Иов 9:10 делает великое, неисследимое и чудное без числа!
Job 9:11 Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: He passeth on also, but I perceive him not.	Иов 9:11 Вот, Он пройдет предо мною, и не увижу Его; пронесется и не замечу Его.
Job 9:12 Behold, he seizeth [the prey], who can hinder him? Who will say unto him, What doest thou?	Иов 9:12 Возьмет, и кто возбранит Ему? кто скажет Ему: что Ты делаешь?
Job 9:13 God will not withdraw his anger; The helpers of Rahab do stoop under him.	Иов 9:13 Бог не отвратит гнева Своего; пред Ним падут поборники гордыни.
Job 9:14 How much less shall I answer him, And choose out my words [to reason] with him?	Иов 9:14 Тем более могу ли я отвечать Ему и приискивать себе слова пред Ним?
Job 9:15 Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer; I would make supplication to my judge.	Иов 9:15 Хотя бы я и прав был, но не буду отвечать, а буду умолять Судию моего.
Job 9:16 If I had called, and he had answered me, Yet would I not believe that he hearkened unto my voice.	Иов 9:16 Если бы я воззвал, и Он ответил мне, --я не поверил бы, что голос мой услышал Тот,
Job 9:17 For he breaketh me with a tempest, And multiplieth my wounds without cause.	Иов 9:17 Кто в вихре разит меня и умножает безвинно мои раны,
Job 9:18 He will not suffer me to take my breath, But filleth me with bitterness.	Иов 9:18 не дает мне перевести духа, но пресыщает меня горестями.
Job 9:19 If [we speak] of strength, lo, [he is] mighty! And if of justice, Who, [saith he], will summon me?	Иов 9:19 Если [действовать] силою, то Он могуществен; если судом, кто сведет меня с Ним?
Job 9:20 Though I be righteous, mine own mouth shall condemn me: Though I be perfect, it shall prove me perverse.	Иов 9:20 Если я буду оправдываться, то мои же уста обвинят меня; [если] я невинен, то Он признает меня виновным.
Job 9:21 I am perfect; I regard not myself; I despise my life.	Иов 9:21 Невинен я; не хочу знать души моей, презираю жизнь мою.
Job 9:22 It is all one; therefore I say, He destroyeth the perfect and the wicked.	Иов 9:22 Все одно; поэтому я сказал, что Он губит и непорочного и виновного.
Job 9:23 If the scourge slay suddenly, He will mock at the trial of the innocent.	Иов 9:23 Если этого поражает Он бичом вдруг, то пытке невинных посмевается.
Job 9:24 The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; He covereth the faces of the judges thereof: If [it be] not [he], who then is it?	Иов 9:24 Земля отдана в руки нечестивых; лица судей ее Он закрывает. Если не Он, то кто же?
Job 9:25 Now my days are swifter than a post: They flee away, they see no good,	Иов 9:25 Дни мои быстрее гонца, --бегут, не видят добра,
Job 9:26 They are passed away as the swift ships; As the eagle that swoopeth on the prey.	Иов 9:26 несутся, как легкие ладьи, как орел стремится на добычу.
Job 9:27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will put off my [sad] countenance, and be of good cheer;	Иов 9:27 Если сказать мне: забуду я жалобы мои, отложу мрачный вид свой и ободрюсь;
Job 9:28 I am afraid of all my sorrows, I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.	Иов 9:28 то трепещу всех страданий моих, зная, что Ты не объявишь меня невинным.
Job 9:29 I shall be condemned; Why then do I labor in vain?	Иов 9:29 Если же я виновен, то для чего напрасно томлюсь?
Job 9:30 If I wash myself with snow water, And make my hands never so clean;	Иов 9:30 Хотя бы я омылся и снежною водою и совершенно очистил руки мои,
Job 9:31 Yet wilt thou plunge me in the ditch, And mine own clothes shall abhor me.	Иов 9:31 то и тогда Ты погрузишь меня в грязь, и возгнушаются мною одежды мои.
Job 9:32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, That we should come together in judgment.	Иов 9:32 Ибо Он не человек, как я, чтоб я мог отвечать Ему и идти вместе с Ним на суд!
Job 9:33 There is no umpire betwixt us, That might lay his hand upon us both.	Иов 9:33 Нет между нами посредника, который положил бы руку свою на обоих нас.
Job 9:34 Let him take his rod away from me, And let not his terror make me afraid:	Иов 9:34 Да отстранит Он от меня жезл Свой, и страх Его да не ужасает меня, --
Job 9:35 Then would I speak, and not fear him; For I am not so in myself.	Иов 9:35 и тогда я буду говорить и не убоюсь Его, ибо я не таков сам в себе.
