Psalms 140:1 Deliver me, O Jehovah, from the evil man; Preserve me from the violent man:	Псалтирь 140:1 ^^Псалом. Начальнику хора. Псалом Давида.^^ Избавь меня, Господи, от человека злого; сохрани меня от притеснителя:
Psalms 140:2 Who devise mischiefs in their heart; Continually do they gather themselves together for war.	Псалтирь 140:2 они злое мыслят в сердце, всякий день ополчаются на брань,
Psalms 140:3 They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders' poison is under their lips. Selah	Псалтирь 140:3 изощряют язык свой, как змея; яд аспида под устами их.
Psalms 140:4 Keep me, O Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from the violent man: Who have purposed to thrust aside my steps.	Псалтирь 140:4 Соблюди меня, Господи, от рук нечестивого, сохрани меня от притеснителей, которые замыслили поколебать стопы мои.
Psalms 140:5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; They have spread a net by the wayside; They have set gins for me. Selah	Псалтирь 140:5 Гордые скрыли силки для меня и петли, раскинули сеть по дороге, тенета разложили для меня.
Psalms 140:6 I said unto Jehovah, Thou art my God: Give ear unto the voice of my supplications, O Jehovah.	Псалтирь 140:6 Я сказал Господу: Ты Бог мой; услышь, Господи, голос молений моих!
Psalms 140:7 O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation, Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.	Псалтирь 140:7 Господи, Господи, сила спасения моего! Ты покрыл голову мою в день брани.
Psalms 140:8 Grant not, O Jehovah, the desires of the wicked; Further not his evil device, [lest] they exalt themselves. Selah	Псалтирь 140:8 Не дай, Господи, желаемого нечестивому; не дай успеха злому замыслу его: они возгордятся.
Psalms 140:9 As for the head of those that compass me about, Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.	Псалтирь 140:9 Да покроет головы окружающих меня зло собственных уст их.
Psalms 140:10 Let burning coals fall upon them: Let them be cast into the fire, Into deep pits, whence they shall not rise.	Псалтирь 140:10 Да падут на них горящие угли; да будут они повержены в огонь, в пропасти, так, чтобы не встали.
Psalms 140:11 An evil speaker shall not be established in the earth: Evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.	Псалтирь 140:11 Человек злоязычный не утвердится на земле; зло увлечет притеснителя в погибель.
Psalms 140:12 I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted, And justice for the needy.	Псалтирь 140:12 Знаю, что Господь сотворит суд угнетенным и справедливость бедным.
Psalms 140:13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: The upright shall dwell in thy presence. Psalm 141 A Psalm of David.	Псалтирь 140:13 Так! праведные будут славить имя Твое; непорочные будут обитать пред лицем Твоим.
