Genesis 4:1 And the man knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man with [the help of] Jehovah.	Génesis 4:1 Y Conocio Adam á su mujer Eva, la cual concibió y parió á Caín, y dijo: Adquirido he varón por Jehová.
Genesis 4:2 And again she bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.	Génesis 4:2 Y después parió á su hermano Abel. Y fué Abel pastor de ovejas, y Caín fué labrador de la tierra.
Genesis 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto Jehovah.	Génesis 4:3 Y aconteció andando el tiempo, que Caín trajo del fruto de la tierra una ofrenda á Jehová.
Genesis 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And Jehovah had respect unto Abel and to his offering:	Génesis 4:4 Y Abel trajo también de los primogénitos de sus ovejas, y de su grosura. Y miró Jehová con agrado á Abel y á su ofrenda;
Genesis 4:5 but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.	Génesis 4:5 Mas no miró propicio á Caín y á la ofrenda suya. Y ensañóse Caín en gran manera, y decayó su semblante.
Genesis 4:6 And Jehovah said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?	Génesis 4:6 Entonces Jehová dijo á Caín: ¿Por qué te has ensañado, y por qué se ha inmutado tu rostro?
Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shall it not be lifted up? and if thou doest not well, sin coucheth at the door: and unto thee shall be its desire, but do thou rule over it.	Génesis 4:7 Si bien hicieres, ¿no serás ensalzado? y si no hicieres bien, el pecado está á la puerta: con todo esto, á ti será su deseo, y tú te enseñorearás de él.
Genesis 4:8 And Cain told Abel his brother. And it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.	Génesis 4:8 Y habló Caín á su hermano Abel: y aconteció que estando ellos en el campo, Caín se levantó contra su hermano Abel, y le mató.
Genesis 4:9 And Jehovah said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: am I my brother's keeper?	Génesis 4:9 Y Jehová dijo á Caín: ¿Dónde está Abel tu hermano? Y él respondió: No sé; ¿soy yo guarda de mi hermano?
Genesis 4:10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.	Génesis 4:10 Y él le dijo: ¿Qué has hecho? La voz de la sangre de tu hermano clama á mí desde la tierra.
Genesis 4:11 And now cursed art thou from the ground, which hath opened its mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;	Génesis 4:11 Ahora pues, maldito seas tú de la tierra que abrió su boca para recibir la sangre de tu hermano de tu mano:
Genesis 4:12 when thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee its strength; a fugitive and a wanderer shalt thou be in the earth.	Génesis 4:12 Cuando labrares la tierra, no te volverá á dar su fuerza: errante y extranjero serás en la tierra.
Genesis 4:13 And Cain said unto Jehovah, My punishment is greater than I can bear.	Génesis 4:13 Y dijo Caín á Jehová: Grande es mi iniquidad para ser perdonada.
Genesis 4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the ground; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth; and it will come to pass, that whosoever findeth me will slay me.	Génesis 4:14 He aquí me echas hoy de la faz de la tierra, y de tu presencia me esconderé; y seré errante y extranjero en la tierra; y sucederá que cualquiera que me hallare, me matará.
Genesis 4:15 And Jehovah said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And Jehovah appointed a sign for Cain, lest any finding him should smite him.	Génesis 4:15 Y respondióle Jehová: Cierto que cualquiera que matare á Caín, siete veces será castigado. Entonces Jehová puso señal en Caín, para que no lo hiriese cualquiera que le hallara.
Genesis 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence of Jehovah, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.	Génesis 4:16 Y salió Caín de delante de Jehová, y habitó en tierra de Nod, al oriente de Edén.
Genesis 4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.	Génesis 4:17 Y conoció Caín á su mujer, la cual concibió y parió á Henoch: y edificó una ciudad, y llamó el nombre de la ciudad del nombre de su hijo, Henoch.
Genesis 4:18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methushael; and Methushael begat Lamech.	Génesis 4:18 Y á Henoch nació Irad, é Irad engendró á Mehujael, y Mehujael engendró á Methusael, y Methusael engendró á Lamech.
Genesis 4:19 And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.	Génesis 4:19 Y tomó para sí Lamech dos mujeres; el nombre de la una fué Ada, y el nombre de la otra Zilla.
Genesis 4:20 And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents and [have] cattle.	Génesis 4:20 Y Ada parió á Jabal, el cual fué padre de los que habitan en tiendas, y crían ganados.
Genesis 4:21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and pipe.	Génesis 4:21 Y el nombre de su hermano fué Jubal, el cual fué padre de todos los que manejan arpa y órgano.
Genesis 4:22 And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.	Génesis 4:22 Y Zilla también parió á Tubal-Caín, acicalador de toda obra de metal y de hierro: y la hermana de Tubal-Caín fué Naama.
Genesis 4:23 And Lamech said unto his wives: Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; Ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: For I have slain a man for wounding me, And a young man for bruising me:	Génesis 4:23 Y dijo Lamech á sus mujeres: Ada y Zilla, oid mi voz; Mujeres de Lamech, escuchad mi dicho: Que varón mataré por mi herida, Y mancebo por mi golpe:
Genesis 4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, Truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.	Génesis 4:24 Si siete veces será vengado Caín, Lamech en verdad setenta veces siete lo será.
Genesis 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth. For, [said she], God hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel; for Cain slew him.	Génesis 4:25 Y conoció de nuevo Adam á su mujer, la cual parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Seth: Porque Dios (dijo ella) me ha sustituído otra simiente en lugar de Abel, á quien mató Caín.
Genesis 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enosh. Then began men to call upon the name of Jehovah.	Génesis 4:26 Y á Seth también le nació un hijo, y llamó su nombre Enós. Entonces los hombres comenzaron á llamarse del nombre de Jehová.
