Numbers 35:1 And Jehovah spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,	Números 35:1 Y Hablo Jehová á Moisés en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán de Jericó, diciendo:
Numbers 35:2 Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and suburbs for the cities round about them shall ye give unto the Levites.	Números 35:2 Manda á los hijos de Israel, que den á los Levitas de la posesión de su heredad ciudades en que habiten: También daréis á los Levitas ejidos de esas ciudades alrededor de ellas.
Numbers 35:3 And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and their suburbs shall be for their cattle, and for their substance, and for all their beasts.	Números 35:3 Y tendrán ellos las ciudades para habitar, y los ejidos de ellas serán para sus animales, y para sus ganados, y para todas sus bestias.
Numbers 35:4 And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall be from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.	Números 35:4 Y los ejidos de las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas, serán mil codos alrededor, desde el muro de la ciudad para afuera.
Numbers 35:5 And ye shall measure without the city for the east side two thousand cubits, and for the south side two thousand cubits, and for the west side two thousand cubits, and for the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the midst. This shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.	Números 35:5 Luego mediréis fuera de la ciudad á la parte del oriente dos mil codos, y á la parte del mediodía dos mil codos, y á la parte del occidente dos mil codos, y á la parte del norte dos mil codos, y la ciudad en medio: esto tendrán por los ejidos de las ciudades.
Numbers 35:6 And the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites, they shall be the six cities of refuge, which ye shall give for the manslayer to flee unto: and besides them ye shall give forty and two cities.	Números 35:6 Y de las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas, seis ciudades serán de acogimiento, las cuales daréis para que el homicida se acoja allá: y además de éstas daréis cuarenta y dos ciudades.
Numbers 35:7 All the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities; them [shall ye give] with their suburbs.	Números 35:7 Todas las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas serán cuarenta y ocho ciudades; ellas con sus ejidos.
Numbers 35:8 And concerning the cities which ye shall give of the possession of the children of Israel, from the many ye shall take many; and from the few ye shall take few: every one according to his inheritance which he inheriteth shall give of his cities unto the Levites.	Números 35:8 Y las ciudades que diereis de la heredad de los hijos de Israel, del que mucho tomaréis mucho, y del que poco tomaréis poco: cada uno dará de sus ciudades á los Levitas según la posesión que heredará.
Numbers 35:9 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,	Números 35:9 Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
Numbers 35:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,	Números 35:10 Habla á los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hubiereis pasado el Jordán á la tierra de Canaán,
Numbers 35:11 then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer that killeth any person unwittingly may flee thither.	Números 35:11 Os señalaréis ciudades, ciudades de acogimiento tendréis, donde huya el homicida que hiriere á alguno de muerte por yerro.
Numbers 35:12 And the cities shall be unto you for refuge from the avenger, that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation for judgment.	Números 35:12 Y os serán aquellas ciudades por acogimiento del pariente, y no morirá el homicida hasta que esté á juicio delante de la congregación.
Numbers 35:13 And the cities which ye shall give shall be for you six cities of refuge.	Números 35:13 De las ciudades, pues, que daréis, tendréis seis ciudades de acogimiento.
Numbers 35:14 Ye shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan; they shall be cities of refuge.	Números 35:14 Tres ciudades daréis de esta parte del Jordán, y tres ciudades daréis en la tierra de Canaán; las cuales serán ciudades de acogimiento.
Numbers 35:15 For the children of Israel, and for the stranger and for the sojourner among them, shall these six cities be for refuge; that every one that killeth any person unwittingly may flee thither.	Números 35:15 Estas seis ciudades serán para acogimiento á los hijos de Israel, y al peregrino, y al que morare entre ellos, para que huya allá cualquiera que hiriere de muerte á otro por yerro.
Numbers 35:16 But if he smote him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.	Números 35:16 Y si con instrumento de hierro lo hiriere y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá:
Numbers 35:17 And if he smote him with a stone in the hand, whereby a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.	Números 35:17 Y si con piedra de mano, de que pueda morir, lo hiriere, y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá.
Numbers 35:18 Or if he smote him with a weapon of wood in the hand, whereby a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.	Números 35:18 Y si con instrumento de palo de mano, de que pueda morir, lo hiriere, y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá.
Numbers 35:19 The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death: when he meeteth him, he shall put him to death.	Números 35:19 El pariente del muerto, él matará al homicida: cuando lo encontrare, él le matará.
Numbers 35:20 And if he thrust him of hatred, or hurled at him, lying in wait, so that he died,	Números 35:20 Y si por odio lo empujó, ó echó sobre él alguna cosa por asechanzas, y muere;
Numbers 35:21 or in enmity smote him with his hand, so that he died; he that smote him shall surely be put to death; he is a murderer: the avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death, when he meeteth him.	Números 35:21 O por enemistad lo hirió con su mano, y murió: el heridor morirá; es homicida; el pariente del muerto matará al homicida, cuando lo encontrare.
Numbers 35:22 But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or hurled upon him anything without lying in wait,	Números 35:22 Mas si casualmente lo empujó sin enemistades, ó echó sobre él cualquier instrumento sin asechanzas,
Numbers 35:23 or with any stone, whereby a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, so that he died, and he was not his enemy, neither sought his harm;	Números 35:23 O bien, sin verlo, hizo caer sobre él alguna piedra, de que pudo morir, y muriere, y él no era su enemigo, ni procuraba su mal;
Numbers 35:24 then the congregation shall judge between the smiter and the avenger of blood according to these ordinances;	Números 35:24 Entonces la congregación juzgará entre el heridor y el pariente del muerto conforme á estas leyes:
Numbers 35:25 and the congregation shall deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.	Números 35:25 Y la congregación librará al homicida de mano del pariente del muerto, y la congregación lo hará volver á su ciudad de acogimiento, á la cual se había acogido; y morará en ella hasta que muera el gran sacerdote, el cual fué ungido con el aceite santo.
Numbers 35:26 But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge, whither he fleeth,	Números 35:26 Y si el homicida saliere fuera del término de su ciudad de refugio, á la cual se acogió,
Numbers 35:27 and the avenger of blood find him without the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood slay the manslayer; he shall not be guilty of blood,	Números 35:27 Y el pariente del muerto le hayare fuera del término de la ciudad de su acogida, y el pariente del muerto al homicida matare, no se le culpará por ello:
Numbers 35:28 because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the manslayer shall return into the land of his possession.	Números 35:28 Pues en su ciudad de refugio deberá aquél habitar hasta que muera el gran sacerdote: y después que muriere el gran sacerdote, el homicida volverá á la tierra de su posesión.
Numbers 35:29 And these things shall be for a statute [and] ordinance unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.	Números 35:29 Y estas cosas os serán por ordenanza de derecho por vuestras edades, en todas vuestras habitaciones.
Numbers 35:30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be slain at the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person that he die.	Números 35:30 Cualquiera que hiriere á alguno, por dicho de testigos, morirá el homicida: mas un solo testigo no hará fé contra alguna persona para que muera.
Numbers 35:31 Moreover ye shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer, that is guilty of death; but he shall surely be put to death.	Números 35:31 Y no tomaréis precio por la vida del homicida; porque está condenado á muerte: mas indefectiblemente morirá.
Numbers 35:32 And ye shall take no ransom for him that is fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.	Números 35:32 Ni tampoco tomaréis precio del que huyó á su ciudad de refugio, para que vuelva á vivir en su tierra, hasta que muera el sacerdote.
Numbers 35:33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood, it polluteth the land; and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.	Números 35:33 Y no contaminaréis la tierra donde estuviereis: porque esta sangre amancillará la tierra: y la tierra no será expiada de la sangre que fué derramada en ella, sino por la sangre del que la derramó.
Numbers 35:34 And thou shalt not defile the land which ye inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell: for I, Jehovah, dwell in the midst of the children of Israel.	Números 35:34 No contaminéis, pues, la tierra donde habitáis, en medio de la cual yo habito; porque yo Jehová habito en medio de los hijos de Israel.
