Jeremiah 5:1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justly, that seeketh truth; and I will pardon her.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:1 Hãy đi dạo các đường phố Giê-ru-sa-lem, và nhìn xem, Hãy dò hỏi tìm kiếm nơi các chợ, thử có thấy một người chăng, nếu có một người làm sự công bình, tìm sự trung tín, thì ta sẽ tha thứ cho thành ấy.
Jeremiah 5:2 And though they say, As Jehovah liveth; surely they swear falsely.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:2 Dầu chúng nó nói rằng: Thật như Đức Giê-hô-va hằng sống! ấy cũng là thề dối!
Jeremiah 5:3 O Jehovah, do not thine eyes look upon truth? thou hast stricken them, but they were not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:3 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, há chẳng phải mắt Ngài đoái xem sự trung tín sao?... Ngài đánh chúng nó, chúng nó chẳng biết lo buồn, Ngài diệt đi, chúng nó chẳng chịu dạy dỗ. Chúng nó tự làm cứng mặt mình hơn vầng đá, chẳng khứng trở lại.
Jeremiah 5:4 Then I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish; for they know not the way of Jehovah, nor the law of their God:	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:4 Tôi bèn nói: Đó thật là kẻ nghèo hèn, ngu muội, vì không biết đường lối của Đức Giê-hô-va, luật pháp của Đức Chúa Trời mình.
Jeremiah 5:5 I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they know the way of Jehovah, and the law of their God. But these with one accord have broken the yoke, and burst the bonds.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:5 Tôi sẽ đến cùng những người sang trọng mà nói với họ, vì họ biết rõ đường lối của Đức Giê-hô-va, sự công bình của Đức Chúa Trời mình... Song, những người nầy hợp ý cùng nhau mà bỏ ách dứt dây!
Jeremiah 5:6 Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, a wolf of the evenings shall destroy them, a leopard shall watch against their cities; every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces; because their transgressions are many, [and] their backslidings are increased.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:6 Vậy nên sư tử trong rừng sẽ giết họ đi, muông sói nơi sa mạc diệt họ đi, beo đương rình ngoài thành họ, hễ ai ra khỏi đó, sẽ bị cắn xé! Vì tội lỗi của họ rất nhiều, sự bội nghịch của họ càng thêm.
Jeremiah 5:7 How can I pardon thee? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery, and assembled themselves in troops at the harlots' houses.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:7 Ta tha thứ ngươi sao được? Các con trai ngươi đã lìa bỏ ta, thề bởi những thần không phải là thần. Ta đã khiến chúng nó ăn no, mà chúng nó thì phạm tội tà dâm, nhóm nhau cả lũ trong nhà đĩ.
Jeremiah 5:8 They were as fed horses roaming at large; every one neighed after his neighbor's wife.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:8 Chúng nó cũng như con ngựa mập chạy lung, mỗi một người theo sau vợ kẻ lân cận mình mà hí.
Jeremiah 5:9 Shall I not visit for these things? saith Jehovah; and shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:9 Đức Giê-hô-va phán: Ta sẽ chẳng thăm phạt vì những sự đó hay sao? Thần ta há chẳng trả thù một nước như vậy hay sao?
Jeremiah 5:10 Go ye up upon her walls, and destroy; but make not a full end: take away her branches; for they are not Jehovah's.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:10 Hãy leo lên những vách tường nó và phá đổ đi; nhưng đừng diệt hết. Hãy tỉa bỏ những nhánh nó, vì chẳng thuộc về Đức Giê-hô-va.
Jeremiah 5:11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith Jehovah.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:11 Vì nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên và nhà Giu-đa đã dùng cách quỉ quyệt đối với ta, Đức Giê-hô-va phán vậy.
Jeremiah 5:12 They have denied Jehovah, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:12 Chúng nó đã chối bỏ Đức Giê-hô-va, và nói rằng: Chẳng phải là Ngài! Hoạn nạn sẽ chẳng lâm trên chúng ta; chúng ta sẽ chẳng gặp gươm dao đói kém.
Jeremiah 5:13 and the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:13 Các đấng tiên tri sẽ trở nên gió, đạo chẳng ở trong họ; họ sẽ gặp phải như vậy.
Jeremiah 5:14 Wherefore thus saith Jehovah, the God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:14 Vậy nên Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời vạn quân phán như vầy: Vì các ngươi đã nói lời đó, nầy, ta sẽ khiến lời ta nên như lửa trong miệng ngươi, dân nầy sẽ như củi, và lửa ấy sẽ nuốt nó.
Jeremiah 5:15 Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith Jehovah: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:15 Đức Giê-hô-va phán: Hỡi nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên, ta sẽ khiến một dân tộc mạnh, tức một dân tộc cũ, một dân tộc mà ngươi chẳng biết tiếng, chẳng hiểu lời, từ phương xa đến nghịch cùng ngươi.
Jeremiah 5:16 Their quiver is an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:16 Cái bao tên nó giống như mồ mả mở ra; chúng nó đều là mạnh bạo.
Jeremiah 5:17 And they shall eat up thy harvest, and thy bread, [which] thy sons and thy daughters should eat; they shall eat up thy flocks and thy herds; they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig-trees; they shall beat down thy fortified cities, wherein thou trustest, with the sword.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:17 Nó sẽ ăn mùa màng và bánh ngươi, là vật mà con trai con gái ngươi phải ăn; nó sẽ ăn bầy chiên và bầy bò ngươi, ăn cây nho và cây vả ngươi. Nó sẽ lấy gươm hủy phá các thành vững bền của ngươi, là nơi mà ngươi trông cậy!
Jeremiah 5:18 But even in those days, saith Jehovah, I will not make a full end with you.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:18 Đức Giê-hô-va phán: Dầu vậy, cũng trong những ngày đó, ta sẽ chẳng diệt hết các ngươi đâu.
Jeremiah 5:19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore hath Jehovah our God done all these things unto us? then shalt thou say unto them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served foreign gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:19 Xảy ra khi các ngươi nói rằng: Sao Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời chúng tôi đã làm mọi sự nầy cho chúng tôi? thì ngươi khá bảo chúng nó rằng: Như các ngươi đã lìa bỏ ta và hầu việc các thần ngoại trong đất mình thể nào, thì các ngươi cũng sẽ hầu việc các dân ngoại trong một đất chẳng thuộc về mình thể ấy.
Jeremiah 5:20 Declare ye this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:20 Hãy rao những lời nầy cho nhà Gia-cốp; hãy truyền ra trong Giu-đa, nói rằng:
Jeremiah 5:21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; that have eyes, and see not; that have ears, and hear not:	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:21 Hỡi dân ngu muội và không hiểu biết, là dân có mắt mà không thấy, có tai mà không nghe kia, hãy nghe điều nầy.
Jeremiah 5:22 Fear ye not me? saith Jehovah: will ye not tremble at my presence, who have placed the sand for the bound of the sea, by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it? and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:22 Đức Giê-hô-va phán: Các ngươi chẳng kính sợ ta, chẳng run rẩy trước mặt ta sao? Ta là Đấng đã lấy cát làm bờ cõi biển, bởi một mạng lịnh đời đời, không vuợt qua được. Sóng biển dầu động, cũng không thắng được; biển dầu gầm rống, cũng không qua khỏi nó;
Jeremiah 5:23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:23 nhưng dân nầy thì lại có lòng ngoa ngạnh và bạn nghịch, hết thảy đều dấy loạn và đi.
Jeremiah 5:24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear Jehovah our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in its season; that preserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:24 Chúng nó chẳng nói trong lòng rằng: Chúng ta hãy kính sợ Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời mình tức là Đấng tùy thời ban cho mưa đầu mùa và mưa cuối mùa, lại vì chúng ta giữ các tuần lễ nhứt định về mùa gặt.
Jeremiah 5:25 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good from you.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:25 Sự gian ác các ngươi đã làm cho những sự ấy xa các ngươi; tội lỗi các ngươi ngăn trở các ngươi được phước.
Jeremiah 5:26 For among my people are found wicked men: they watch, as fowlers lie in wait; they set a trap, they catch men.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:26 Vì trong vòng dân ta có những kẻ ác; chúng nó hay rình rập, như người nhử chim, gài bẫy giăng lưới, mà bắt người ta.
Jeremiah 5:27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxed rich.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:27 Nhà chúng nó đầy sự dối trá, cũng như lồng đầy chim vậy, vì đó chúng nó trở nên lớn và giàu.
Jeremiah 5:28 They are waxed fat, they shine: yea, they overpass in deeds of wickedness; they plead not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, that they may prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:28 Chúng nó mập béo và mởn mờ. Sự hung ác chúng nó quá đỗi; chẳng xét lẽ cho kẻ mồ côi, hầu cho được thạnh lợi! Chúng nó chẳng làm sự công bình cho kẻ nghèo.
Jeremiah 5:29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith Jehovah; shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:29 Đức Giê-hô-va phán: Ta sẽ chẳng thăm phạt về những sự ấy sao? Thần ta chẳng trả thù một nước dường ấy sao?
Jeremiah 5:30 A wonderful and horrible thing is come to pass in the land:	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:30 Trong đất nầy đã xảy ra sự lạ lùng đáng gớm.
Jeremiah 5:31 the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?	Giê-rê-mi-a 5:31 Những kẻ tiên tri nói tiên tri dối, các thầy tế lễ bởi đó mà cầm quyền! Dân ta đều lấy làm ưa thích. Khi đến cuối cùng, các ngươi sẽ làm thế nào?
