Deuteronomio 1:1 Kini mao ang mga pulong nga gisulti ni Moises sa tibook Israel sa unahan sa Jordan didto sa kamingawan, didto sa Arabah, atbang sa Dagat nga Patay sa kinataliwad-an sa Paran, ug sa Topel, ug sa Laban, ug sa Jaseroth ug sa Dizahab.	Deuteronomy 1:1 These are the words which Moses spake unto all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah over against Suph, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Di-zahab.

Deuteronomio 1:3 Ug nahatabo nga sa ikakap-atan ka tuig, sa ikanapulo ug usa ka bulan, sa nahauna nga adlaw sa bulan, si Moises misulti sa mga anak sa Israel sumala sa tanan nga gihatag ni Jehova kaniya ingon nga sugo alang kanila;	Deuteronomy 1:3 And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first day of the month, that Moses spake unto the children of Israel, according unto all that Jehovah had given him in commandment unto them;
Deuteronomio 1:4 Sa human mapatay niya si Sihon, ang hari sa mga Amorehanon, nga nagapuyo sa Hesbon, ug si Og, ang hari sa Basan, nga nagapuyo sa Astaroth sa Edrei.	Deuteronomy 1:4 after he had smitten Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, who dwelt in Ashtaroth, at Edrei.
Deuteronomio 1:5 Sa unahan sa Jordan sa yuta sa Moab, misugod si Moises sa pagpahayag niini nga Kasugoan, nga nagaingon:	Deuteronomy 1:5 Beyond the Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,
Deuteronomio 1:6 Si Jehova nga atong Dios misulti kanato didto sa Horeb, nga nagaingon: Kamo nakapuyo sa hataas na nga panahon niining bukira:	Deuteronomy 1:6 Jehovah our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mountain:
Deuteronomio 1:7 Pamalik kamo ug panggikan kamo ug umadto kamo ngadto sa bukid sa mga Amorehanon, ug sa tanan niya nga ginsakpan sa Arabah, sa bukid ug sa mga walog, ug sa habagatan, ug sa baybayon sa dagat, sa yuta sa mga Canaanhon, ug ngadto sa Libano, hangtud sa dakung suba, ang suba nga Eufrates.	Deuteronomy 1:7 turn you, and take your journey, and go to the hill-country of the Amorites, and unto all [the places] nigh thereunto, in the Arabah, in the hill-country, and in the lowland, and in the South, and by the sea-shore, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates.
Deuteronomio 1:8 Ania karon, akong gigahin ang yuta sa atubangan ninyo: sumulod kamo, ug panagiyahon ninyo ang yuta nga gipanumpa ni Jehova sa inyong mga amahan, kang Abraham, kang Isaac, ug kang Jacob, nga igahatag kanila, ug sa ilang kaliwatan sa ulahi nila.	Deuteronomy 1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which Jehovah sware unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.
Deuteronomio 1:9 Ug niadtong panahona misulti ako kaninyo, nga nagaingon: Ako dili makahimo sa pagdala kaninyo nga mag-inusara.	Deuteronomy 1:9 And I spake unto you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:
Deuteronomio 1:10 Si Jehova ang inyong Dios nagpadaghan kaninyo, ug ania karon, kamo niining adlawa sama sa mga bitoon sa langit sa gidaghanon.	Deuteronomy 1:10 Jehovah your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude.
Deuteronomio 1:11 Si Jehova, ang Dios sa inyong mga amahan, magahimo kaninyo nga usa ka libo ka pilo sa inyong gidaghanon karon, ug magapanalangin kaninyo, ingon sa iyang gisaad kaninyo!	Deuteronomy 1:11 Jehovah, the God of your fathers, make you a thousand times as many as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!
Deuteronomio 1:12 Unsaon ko pagdala nga mag-inusara sa inyong mga kasamok ug sa inyong mga lulan ug sa inyong mga pagbingkil?	Deuteronomy 1:12 How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?
Deuteronomio 1:13 Pagpili kamo gikan kaninyo, sumala sa inyong mga banay, mga tawo nga manggialamon, ug mga masinabuton, ug mga dungganon, ug igabutang ko sila sa pagkapunoan ninyo.	Deuteronomy 1:13 Take you wise men, and understanding, and known, according to your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.
Deuteronomio 1:14 Ug kamo mingtubag kanako, ug nagaingon: Ang mga butang nga imong gipamulong maayo nga among pagabuhaton.	Deuteronomy 1:14 And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good [for us] to do.
Deuteronomio 1:15 Busa gikuha ko ang mga kadagkuan sa inyong mga banay, mga tawo nga manggialamon ug mga dungganon ug gibutang ko sila nga mga punoan ninyo, mga punoan sa mga linibo, ug mga punoan sa mga ginatus, ug mga punoan sa mga kinalim-an, mga punoan sa tinagpulo, ug mga magbubuot sumala sa inyong mga banay.	Deuteronomy 1:15 So I took the heads of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, and captains of fifties, and captains of tens, and officers, according to your tribes.
Deuteronomio 1:16 Ug nagsugo ako sa inyong mga maghuhukom niadtong panahona, nga nagaingon: Magpatalinghug kamo sa taliwala sa inyong mga igsoon, maghukom kamo sa minatarung, sa taliwala sa tawo ug sa iyang igsoon nga lalake kun sa dumuloong nga uban kaniya.	Deuteronomy 1:16 And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear [the causes] between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother, and the sojourner that is with him.
Deuteronomio 1:17 Dili kamo magpili ug tawo sa inyong paghukom, managpatalinghug kamo sa gagmay sama sa dagku: dili kamo mahadlok sa nawong sa tawo, kay ang paghukom iya sa Dios: ug ang hulusayon nga malisud kaninyo dad-on ninyo kanako, ug ako magapatalinghug niini.	Deuteronomy 1:17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; ye shall hear the small and the great alike; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you ye shall bring unto me, and I will hear it.
Deuteronomio 1:18 Ug nagsugo ako kaninyo niadtong panahona sa tanang mga butang nga inyong pagabuhaton.	Deuteronomy 1:18 And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.
Deuteronomio 1:19 Ug mingpanaw kita gikan sa Horeb, ug minglatas niadtong tanan nga dagku ug makalilisang nga kamingawan, nga inyong nakita didto sa dalan sa bukid sa mga Amorehanon, maingon nga si Jehova nga atong Dios nagsugo kanato, ug ming-abut kita sa Cades-barnea.	Deuteronomy 1:19 And we journeyed from Horeb, and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which ye saw, by the way to the hill-country of the Amorites, as Jehovah our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh-barnea.
Deuteronomio 1:20 Ug miingon ako kaninyo: Mingdangat kamo sa bukid sa mga Amorehanon nga gihatag ni Jehova nga atong Dios kanato.	Deuteronomy 1:20 And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the hill-country of the Amorites, which Jehovah our God giveth unto us.
Deuteronomio 1:21 Ania karon, si Jehova nga imong Dios naggahin sa yuta sa atubangan mo: tumungas ka, ug panag-iyahon mo kini, maingon nga si Jehova ang Dios sa inyong mga amahan, nag-ingon kanimo: Dili kamo mahadlok, dili usab kamo maluya.	Deuteronomy 1:21 Behold, Jehovah thy God hath set the land before thee: go up, take possession, as Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath spoken unto thee; fear not, neither be dismayed.
Deuteronomio 1:22 Ug mingduol kamong tanan kanako, ang tagsatagsa kaninyo ug nanag-ingon: Magsugo kita ug mga tawo una kanato nga mosusi alang kanato sa yuta, ug sa pagbalik magasaysay sila kanato sa dalan nga atong pagalaktan, ug sa mga kalungsoran nga atong pagaadtoan.	Deuteronomy 1:22 And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, Let us send men before us, that they may search the land for us, and bring us word again of the way by which we must go up, and the cities unto which we shall come.
Deuteronomio 1:23 Ug ang butang nakapahimuot kanako pag-ayo; ug mikuha ako ug napulo ug duha ka mga tawo gikan kaninyo, usa ka tawo sa tagsatagsa ka banay:	Deuteronomy 1:23 And the thing pleased me well; and I took twelve men of you, one man for every tribe:
Deuteronomio 1:24 Ug minglakaw sila ug mingtungas ngadto sa bukid, ug mingdangat sila ngadto sa walog sa Escol, ug mingpaniid niini.	Deuteronomy 1:24 and they turned and went up into the hill-country, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and spied it out.
Deuteronomio 1:25 Ug mingkuha sila ug bunga sa kayutaan sa ilang mga kamot ug gidala kini kanato, ug nanagsugilon sila kanato, ug nanag-ingon: Kini maayong yuta nga gihatag kanato ni Jehova nga atong Dios.	Deuteronomy 1:25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which Jehovah our God giveth unto us.
Deuteronomio 1:26 Apan wala kamo motungas, kondili nanagmalalison kamo sa sugo ni Jehova nga inyong Dios:	Deuteronomy 1:26 Yet ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of Jehovah your God:
Deuteronomio 1:27 Ug nanagbagulbol kamo sa inyong mga balong-balong ug nagaingon: Kay gidumtan kita ni Jehova, nga gikuha niya kita gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, aron sa pagtugyan kanato ngadto sa kamot sa mga Amorehanon aron sa paglaglag kanato.	Deuteronomy 1:27 and ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because Jehovah hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
Deuteronomio 1:28 Asa man kita motungas? Ang atong mga igsoon nagpaluya sa atong kasingkasing, nga nagaingon. Ang mga tawo mga labing dagku ug labing hatag-as kay kanato; ang mga kalungsoran dagku ug kinutaan hangtud sa langit, ug labut pa nakita namo didto ang mga anak sa mga higante.	Deuteronomy 1:28 Whither are we going up? our brethren have made our heart to melt, saying, The people are greater and taller than we; the cities are great and fortified up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakim there.
Deuteronomio 1:29 Unya miingon ako kaninyo: Dili kamo malisang, dili usab kamo mahadlok kanila.	Deuteronomy 1:29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.
Deuteronomio 1:30 Si Jehova, ang inyong Dios, maoy magauna kaninyo, siya makig-away alang kaninyo, ingon sa tanang mga butang nga gibuhat niya alang kaninyo didto sa Egipto sa atubangan sa inyong mga mata,	Deuteronomy 1:30 Jehovah your God who goeth before you, he will fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes,
Deuteronomio 1:31 Ug sa kamingawan, diin nakita mo nga si Jehova nga imong Dios nagdala kanimo, ingon sa usa ka tawo nga nagdala sa iyang anak nga lalake sa tanan nga dalan sa inyong gilaktan, hangtud nga mingdangat kamo niining dapita.	Deuteronomy 1:31 and in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that Jehovah thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came unto this place.
Deuteronomio 1:32 Bisan pa niining butanga wala kamo managtoo kang Jehova nga inyong Dios,	Deuteronomy 1:32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe Jehovah your God,
Deuteronomio 1:33 Nga nag-una kaninyo sa dalan, aron sa pagsusi sa dapit kong asa kamo magapahaluna sa inyong mga balong-balong, pinaagi sa kalayo sa gabii, aron sa pagpakita kaninyo sa dalan nga inyong pagalaktan, ug pinaagi sa panganod sa adlaw.	Deuteronomy 1:33 who went before you in the way, to seek you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to show you by what way ye should go, and in the cloud by day.
Deuteronomio 1:34 Ug nakadungog si Jehova sa tingog sa inyong mga pulong, ug nasuko ug nanumpa siya, nga nagaingon:	Deuteronomy 1:34 And Jehovah heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,
Deuteronomio 1:35 Sa pagkamatuod walay usa niining mga tawo, niining dautan nga kaliwatan nga makakita sa yuta nga maayo nga gipanumpa ko nga igahatag sa inyong mga amahan.	Deuteronomy 1:35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see the good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
Deuteronomio 1:36 Gawas kang Caleb, ang anak nga lalake ni Jephone: siya makakita niana, ug kaniya ihatag ko ang yuta nga iyang gitumban, ug sa iyang mga anak, kay hingpit ang iyang pagsunod kang Jehova.	Deuteronomy 1:36 save Caleb the son of Jephunneh: he shall see it; and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed Jehovah.
Deuteronomio 1:37 Ug batok usab kanako nasuko si Jehova tungod kaninyo, nga nagaingon: Ikaw usab dili makasulod didto:	Deuteronomy 1:37 Also Jehovah was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither:
Deuteronomio 1:38 Si Josue, ang anak nga lalake ni Nun, nga nagatindog sa imong atubangan, siya makasulod didto: magdasig ka kaniya; kay siya magapapanunod niana sa Israel.	Deuteronomy 1:38 Joshua the son of Nun, who standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage thou him; for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.
Deuteronomio 1:39 Labut pa ang inyong mga bata, nga matud ninyo mahimong tukbonon; ug ang inyong mga anak nga dili karon mahibalo sa maayo kun dautan, sila makasulod didto, ug kanila ihatag ko kini, ug sila makapanag-iya niini.	Deuteronomy 1:39 Moreover your little ones, that ye said should be a prey, and your children, that this day have no knowledge of good or evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
Deuteronomio 1:40 Apan mahitungod kaninyo, pamalik kamo ug panggikan kamo padulong ngadto sa kamingawan sa dalan paingon sa Dagat nga Mapula.	Deuteronomy 1:40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea.
Deuteronomio 1:41 Unya mingtubag kamo ug nanag-ingon kanako: Nakasala kami batok kang Jehova, motungas ug makig-away kami, sumala sa tanan nga gisugo kanamo ni Jehova nga among Dios. Ug nanagsangkap kamo ang tagsatagsa ka tawo sa iyang mga hinagiban sa pag-awayan, ug nanag-andam kamo sa pagtungas sa kabukiran.	Deuteronomy 1:41 Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against Jehovah, we will go up and fight, according to all that Jehovah our God commanded us. And ye girded on every man his weapons of war, and were forward to go up into the hill-country.
Deuteronomio 1:42 Ug si Jehova miingon kanako: Ipamulong mo kanila: Dili kamo motungas ni makig-away, kay ako wala sa inyong taliwala; tingali unya pamatyon kamo sa atubangan sa inyong mga kaaway.	Deuteronomy 1:42 And Jehovah said unto me, Say unto them, Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies.
Deuteronomio 1:43 Unya ako misulti kaninyo, ug wala kamo magpatalinghug; hinonoa minglalis kamo sa sugo ni Jehova, ug nanagmapahitas-on ug mingtungas kamo ngadto sa kabukiran.	Deuteronomy 1:43 So I spake unto you, and ye hearkened not; but ye rebelled against the commandment of Jehovah, and were presumptuous, and went up into the hill-country.
Deuteronomio 1:44 Ug minggula ang mga Amorehanon, nga nagpuyo niadtong bukira sa pagsugat kaninyo, milutos kaninyo, ingon sa ginabuhat sa mga putyokan, ug nagpuspus kaninyo gikan sa Seir, hangtud sa Horma.	Deuteronomy 1:44 And the Amorites, that dwelt in that hill-country, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and beat you down in Seir, even unto Hormah.
Deuteronomio 1:45 Ug mingbalik kamo ug minghilak kamo sa atubangan ni Jehova; apan si Jehova wala magpatalinghug sa inyong tingog, wala usab siya mamati kaninyo.	Deuteronomy 1:45 And ye returned and wept before Jehovah; but Jehovah hearkened not to your voice, nor gave ear unto you.
Deuteronomio 1:46 Unya didto kamo sa Cades sa daghang mga adlaw, sumala sa mga adlaw sa inyong pagpuyo didto.	Deuteronomy 1:46 So ye abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye abode [there].
