Nehemias 4	Nehemiah 4
Nehemias 4:1 Apan nahitabo nga, sa pagkadungog ni Sanballat nga kami nagtukod sa kuta, siya nasuko, ug naligutgut sa hilabihan, ug iyang gitamay ang mga Judio.	Nehemiah 4:1 But it came to pass that, when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was wroth, and took great indignation, and mocked the Jews.
Nehemias 4:2 Ug siya namulong sa atubangan sa iyang kaigsoonan ug sa kasundalohan sa Samaria, ug miingon: Unsay gibuhat niining mga maluya nga mga Judio? Magakuta ba sila sa ilang kaugalingon? Magahalad ba sila? Magatapus ba sila niini sa usa ka adlaw? Ila bang pabalikon ang mga bato gikan sa mga pinundok nga sagbut, sa natan-aw nga sila nangasunog?	Nehemiah 4:2 And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What are these feeble Jews doing? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, seeing they are burned?
Nehemias 4:3 Karon si Tobias nga Ammonhanon diha sa tupad niya, ug siya miingon: Bisan kanang ilang gitukod, kong ang usa ka singgalong mosaka sa itaas, siya makalumpag sa ilang kuta nga bato.	Nehemiah 4:3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, Even that which they are building, if a fox go up, he shall break down their stone wall.
Nehemias 4:4 Pamati, Oh among Dios; kay kami gitamay: ug isumbalik sa ilang kaugalingong ulo ang ilang pagtamay, ug itugyan sila nga usa ka binihag didto sa usa ka yuta sa pagkabinihag;	Nehemiah 4:4 Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn back their reproach upon their own head, and give them up for a spoil in a land of captivity;
Nehemias 4:5 Ug ayaw pagtaboni ang ilang kasal-anan, ug ayaw pagpapasa ang ilang sala gikan sa imong atubangan; kay ikaw gihagit nila sa pagpakasuko sa atubangan sa mga magtutukod.	Nehemiah 4:5 and cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee; for they have provoked [thee] to anger before the builders.
Nehemias 4:6 Busa among gitukod ang kuta; ug ang tibook kuta nadugtong ngadto sa katungang gitas-on niana; kay ang katawohan may tinguha sa pagbuhat.	Nehemiah 4:6 So we built the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto half [the height] thereof: for the people had a mind to work.
Nehemias 4:7 Apan nahitabo nga, sa pagkadungog ni Sanballat, ug ni Tobias, ug sa mga Arabiahanon, ug sa mga Ammonhanon, ug sa mga Asdodnon, nga ang pag-ayo sa mga kuta sa Jerusalem nagapadayon, ug nga gisugdan na ang paghulip sa mga nangatumpag, unya sila nangasuko sa hilabihan;	Nehemiah 4:7 But it came to pass that, when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the repairing of the walls of Jerusalem went forward, [and] that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth;
Nehemias 4:8 Ug nanagkasabut silang tanan sa tingub aron sa pag-adto ug sa pagpakig-away batok sa Jerusalem, ug aron sa paghimo ug kaguliyang didto sasulod.	Nehemiah 4:8 and they conspired all of them together to come and fight against Jerusalem, and to cause confusion therein.
Nehemias 4:9 Apan gihimo namo ang among pag-ampo sa among Dios, ug among gibutangan ug usa ka bantay batok kanila sa adlaw ug gabii, tungod kanila:	Nehemiah 4:9 But we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.
Nehemias 4:10 Ug si Juda miingon: Ang kusog sa magdadala sa mga mabug-at nangaluya, ug may daghang sagbut; mao nga kita dili makahimo sa pagtukod sa kuta.	Nehemiah 4:10 And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall.
Nehemias 4:11 Ug ang atong mga kabatok ming-ingon: Sila dili manghibalo, ni makakita, hangtud nga kita mahiabut sa ilang kinataliwad-an, ug pamatyon ta sila ug mapahunong ang buhat.	Nehemiah 4:11 And our adversaries said, They shall not know, neither see, till we come into the midst of them, and slay them, and cause the work to cease.
Nehemias 4:12 Ug nahitabo, nga sa ming-abut ang mga Judio nga nanagpuyo tupad kanila, sila ming-ingon kanamo sa nakapulo gikan sa tanang mga dapit: Kinahanglan nga kamo mamalik nganhi kanamo.	Nehemiah 4:12 And it came to pass that, when the Jews that dwelt by them came, they said unto us ten times from all places, Ye must return unto us.
Nehemias 4:13 Busa akong gibutang sa kinaubsan nga mga dapit luyo sa kuta, diha sa hawan nga mga dapit, akong gibutang didto ang katawohan sumala sa ilang mga panimalay uban sa ilang mga pinuti, sa ilang mga bangkaw, ug sa ilang mga busogan.	Nehemiah 4:13 Therefore set I in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, in the open places, I set [there] the people after their families with their swords, their spears, and their bows.
Nehemias 4:14 Ug ako mitan-aw, ug mitindog, ug miingon sa mga harianon, ug sa mga punoan, ug sa ubang katawohan: Ayaw kamo kahadlok kanila: hinumdumi ang Ginoo, nga maoy daku ug makalilisang, ug pakig-away kamo alang sa inyong mga kaigsoonan, sa inyong mga kaanakan nga lalake, ug sa inyong mga kaanakan nga babaye, sa inyong mga asawa, ug sa inyong mga kabalayan.	Nehemiah 4:14 And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
Nehemias 4:15 Ug nahitabo, nga sa pagkadungog sa among mga kaaway nga kini nahibaloan namo, ug gihimong walay hinungdan sa Dios ang ilang panagsabutsabut, kami ngatanan namalik ngadto sa kuta, ang tagsatagsa ngadto sa iyang buhat.	Nehemiah 4:15 And it came to pass, when our enemies heard that it was known unto us, and God had brought their counsel to nought, that we returned all of us to the wall, every one unto his work.
Nehemias 4:16 Ug nahitabo sukad niadtong panahona nga ang katunga sa akong mga alagad nagbuhat sa bulohaton, ug ang katunga kanila nanagdala, sa bangkaw, sa mga kalasag, ug sa mga busogan, ug sa mga bisti sa gubat; ug ang mga punoan diha sa luyo sa tanang balay sa Juda.	Nehemiah 4:16 And it came to pass from that time forth, that half of my servants wrought in the work, and half of them held the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the coats of mail; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.
Nehemias 4:17 Sila nga nanagtukod sa kuta ug sila nga nanagpas-an sa mga palas-anon, ming-abaga ang tagsatagsa kanila sa ilang kaugalingon; ang tagsatagsa uban sa usa iyang mga kamot nagbuhat sa bulohaton, ug uban sa laing kamot nagbitbit sa iyang hinagiban;	Nehemiah 4:17 They all builded the wall and they that bare burdens laded themselves; every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other held his weapon;
Nehemias 4:18 Ug ang mga magtutukod, ang tagsatagsa may pinuti nga gitakin sa iyang hawak, ug nagtukod sa mao nga bulohaton. Ug siya nga nagpatunog sa trompeta diha tupad kanako.	Nehemiah 4:18 and the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.
Nehemias 4:19 Ug ako miingon sa mga harianon, ug sa mga punoan ug sa uban nga katawohan: Ang buhat daku ug halapad, ug kita nagkabulag ibabaw sa kuta, ang usa halayo sa usa:	Nehemiah 4:19 And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another:
Nehemias 4:20 Sa bisan diin nga dapit madunggan ninyo ang lanog sa trompeta, kamo manganhi kanamo; ang atong Dios makig-away alang kanato.	Nehemiah 4:20 in what place soever ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us; our God will fight for us.
Nehemias 4:21 Busa nagpailalum kami sa bulohaton: ug ang katunga kanila nanagdala sa mga bangkaw sukad sa pagkabanagbanag sa kabuntagon hangtud sa pagsubang sa mga bitoon.	Nehemiah 4:21 So we wrought in the work: and half of them held the spears from the rising of the morning till the stars appeared.
Nehemias 4:22 Ingon man usab sa maong panahon miingon ako sa katawohan: Mopuyo una ang tagsatagsa uban sa iyang alagad sulod sa Jerusalem, aron nga sa pagkagabii sila mahimong usa ka bantay kanat-o, ug makabuhat sa adlaw.	Nehemiah 4:22 Likewise at the same time said I unto the people, Let every one with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and may labor in the day.
Nehemias 4:23 Busa walay usa kanamo nga naghukas sa among mga bisti, bisan ako, ni ang akong mga kaigsoonan, ni ang akong mga alagad, ni ang mga tawo nga magbalantay nga mingsunod kanako, ang tagsatagsa miubog uban ang iyang hinagiban ngadto sa tubig.	Nehemiah 4:23 So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard that followed me, none of us put off our clothes, every one [went with] his weapon [to] the water.
