Deuteronomio 20:1 Sa diha nga moadto ka sa pagpanggubat batok sa imong mga kaaway, ug makakita ug mga kabayo, ug mga carro, ug usa ka katawohan nga labaw kay kanimo, dili ka mahadlok kanila; kay si Jehova nga imong Dios nagauban kanimo, ang nagkuha kanimo gikan sa yuta sa Egipto.	Deuteronomy 20:1 When thou goest forth to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, [and] a people more than thou, thou shalt not be afraid of them; for Jehovah thy God is with thee, who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomio 20:2 Ug mahitabo, nga sa magakaduol kamo sa gubat, moabut ang sacerdote ug magasulti sa katawohan,	Deuteronomy 20:2 And it shall be, when ye draw nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
Deuteronomio 20:3 Ug magaingon kanila: Patalinghug ka, Israel, kamo magatingub karon sa pagpanggubat batok sa inyong mga kaaway; dili pagpaluyahon ang inyong kasingkasing; dili kamo mahadlok, ni mangurog, ni mangalisang sa atubangan nila;	Deuteronomy 20:3 and shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye draw nigh this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your heart faint; fear not, nor tremble, neither be ye affrighted at them;
Deuteronomio 20:4 Kay si Jehova nga inyong Dios magalakaw uban kaninyo sa pagpakig-away alang kaninyo batok sa inyong mga kaaway, aron sa pagluwas kaninyo.	Deuteronomy 20:4 for Jehovah your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
Deuteronomio 20:5 Ug ang mga punoan sa mga sundalo magasulti sa katawohan nga magaingon: Kinsa bang tawohana ang nakatukod ug balay nga bag-o, ug wala magpahanungod niini? Palakta siya ug papaulia sa iyang balay, tingali unya kong siya mamatay sa panggubatan, ug laing tawo ang magpahanungod niini.	Deuteronomy 20:5 And the officers shall speak unto the people, saying, What man is there that hath built a new house, and hath not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man dedicate it.
Deuteronomio 20:6 Kinsa ba ang nakatanum ug usa ka parasan ug wala makapahimulos sa bunga niini? Palakta siya ug papaulia sa iyang balay, tingali unya kong siya mamatay sa panggubatan, ug laing tawo ang magapahimulos sa bunga niana.	Deuteronomy 20:6 And what man is there that hath planted a vineyard, and hath not used the fruit thereof? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man use the fruit thereof.
Deuteronomio 20:7 Ug kinsa ba ang nakapakasal sa usa ka babaye, ug wala siya makadawat kaniya? Palakta siya ug papaulia sa iyang balay, tingali unya kong siya mamatay sa panggubatan, ug laing tawo ang makadawat kaniya.	Deuteronomy 20:7 And what man is there that hath betrothed a wife, and hath not taken her? let him go and return unto his house, lest he die in the battle, and another man take her.
Deuteronomio 20:8 Ug ang punoan sa mga sundalo managsulti pa sa katawohan, ug magaingon sila: Kinsa ba ang tawo nga mahadlokon ug maluya ug kasingkasing? Palakta siya ug papaulia sa iyang balay, tingali unya matunaw ang kasingkasing sa iyang mga igsoon ingon sa iyang kasingkasing.	Deuteronomy 20:8 And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and faint-hearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren's heart melt as his heart.
Deuteronomio 20:9 Ug mahitabo nga kong ang mga punoan sa mga sundalo makahuman na sa pagsulti sa katawohan, magabutang sila ug mga pangulo sa mga kasundalohan sa pagmando sa katawohan.	Deuteronomy 20:9 And it shall be, when the officers have made an end of speaking unto the people, that they shall appoint captains of hosts at the head of the people.
Deuteronomio 20:10 Sa diha nga magakahaduol ka sa usa ka ciudad aron sa pagpakig-away batok niini, unya igapahibalo mo ang pakigdait niini.	Deuteronomy 20:10 When thou drawest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
Deuteronomio 20:11 Ug mahitabo nga kong kini motubag kanimo ug pakigdait, ug magaabli alang kanimo, ang tanan nga mga tawo nga hikaplagan sa sulod, mahimong mga sakup nimo, ug magaalagad kanimo.	Deuteronomy 20:11 And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that are found therein shall become tributary unto thee, and shall serve thee.
Deuteronomio 20:12 Ug kong kini dili magahimo ug pakigdait kanimo, kondili magapakiggubat batok kanimo, unya pagalikosan mo kini.	Deuteronomy 20:12 And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
Deuteronomio 20:13 Unya kong si Jehova nga imong Dios magatugyan niini sa imong kamot, pagapatyon mo ang tagsatagsa ka lalake niya uban sa sulab sa pinuti:	Deuteronomy 20:13 and when Jehovah thy God delivereth it into thy hand, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
Deuteronomio 20:14 Apan ang mga babaye, ug ang mga bata, ug ang kahayupan, ug ang tanan nga anaa sa ciudad, bisan ang tanan nga mga inagaw kanila, pagakuhaon mo nga alang kanimo: ug pagakan-on mo ang inagaw sa imong mga kaaway, nga gitugyan kanimo ni Jehova nga imong Dios.	Deuteronomy 20:14 but the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take for a prey unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which Jehovah thy God hath given thee.
Deuteronomio 20:15 Mao kini ang pagabuhaton mo sa tanan nga mga ciudad nga atua sa labing halayo kanimo, nga dili mga ciudad niining mga nasud.	Deuteronomy 20:15 Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
Deuteronomio 20:16 Apan sa mga ciudad niining mga katawohan nga gihatag kanimo ni Jehova nga imong Dios sa usa ka panulondon, walay pagapagawason mo nga buhi sa bisan unsang butanga nga nagaginhawa;	Deuteronomy 20:16 But of the cities of these peoples, that Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth;
Deuteronomio 20:17 Hinonoa pagalaglagon mo sila gayud: ang mga Hetehanon, ug ang mga Amorehanon, ug ang mga Canaanhon, ug ang mga Peresehanon, ug ang mga Hebehanon, ug ang mga Jebusehanon; ingon sa gisugo kanimo ni Jehova nga imong Dios;	Deuteronomy 20:17 but thou shalt utterly destroy them: the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; as Jehovah thy God hath commanded thee;
Deuteronomio 20:18 Aron sila dili makatudlo kaninyo sa pagbuhat sa ilang mga dulumtanan, nga ilang ginabuhat sa ilang mga dios, ug kamo makasala batok kang Jehova nga inyong Dios.	Deuteronomy 20:18 that they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so would ye sin against Jehovah your God.
Deuteronomio 20:19 Sa diha nga magalikos ka sa usa ka ciudad sa hataas nga panahon sa pagpakig-away batok niini, aron sa pagkuha niini, dili mo pagputlon ang iyang kakahoyan pinaagi sa pagbakyaw kanila sa wasay; kay kanila makakaon ka, ug dili mo sila pagaputlon; kay ang kahoy sa kapatagan tawo ba aron pagalikosan?	Deuteronomy 20:19 When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by wielding an axe against them; for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down; for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged of thee?
Deuteronomio 20:20 Ugaling ang mga kahoy nga imong hibaloan nga dili kahoy alang sa pagkaon, pagalaglagon ug pagaputlon mo sila; ug pagatukoron mo ang mga bantayanan batok sa ciudad nga magapakig-away batok kanimo, hangtud nga kini mapukan.	Deuteronomy 20:20 Only the trees of which thou knowest that they are not trees for food, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it fall.
