Mateo 27:1 Ug sa pag-abut na sa kabuntagon, ang tanang mga sacerdote nga punoan ug ang mga anciano sa lungsod nanagkasabut batok kang Jesus aron ipapatay siya.	Matthew 27:1 Now when morning was come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

Matthew 27:6 And the chief priests took the pieces of silver, and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood.
Mateo 27:7 Busa nanagsabut sila, ug pinaagi niini ilang gipalit ang yuta sa magkokolon, aron pagalubngan alang sa mga dumoloong.	Matthew 27:7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.

Matthew 27:11 Now Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
Mateo 27:12 Apan sa diha nga gipasakaan na siyag sumbong sa mga sacerdote nga punoan ug sa mga anciano, siya walay gitubag.	Matthew 27:12 And when he was accused by the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
Mateo 27:13 Unya miingon kaniya si Pilato, "Wala ka ba makadungog sa daghang mga butang nga ilang gipanghimatuod batok kanimo?"	Matthew 27:13 Then saith Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
Mateo 27:14 Apan wala siyay gitubag kaniya, bisan batok na lang sa usa ka sumbong; ug tungod niana ang gobernador nahibulong ug daku.	Matthew 27:14 And he gave him no answer, not even to one word: insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.
Mateo 27:15 Ug sa panahon sa fiesta nabatasan sa gobernador ang pagbuhi alang sa katawhan sa usa ka buok nga binilanggo nga bisan kinsa nga ilang pangayoon.	Matthew 27:15 Now at the feast the governor was wont to release unto the multitude one prisoner, whom they would.
Mateo 27:16 Ug niadtong panahona dihay ilang usa ka bantugang binilanggo nga ginganlan si Barrabas.	Matthew 27:16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
Mateo 27:17 Busa, sa nagkatigum na sila, si Pilato miingon kanila, "Kinsa may gusto ninyong akong buhian alang kaninyo, si Barrabas ba o si Jesus ba, ang ginatawag nga Cristo?"	Matthew 27:17 When therefore they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?
Mateo 27:18 Kay nasayran man ugod niya nga tungod sa kasina ilang gitugyan siya ngadto kaniya.	Matthew 27:18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him up.
Mateo 27:19 Ug labut pa, samtang si Pilato naglingkod sa lingkoranan sa hukmanan, gipadad-an siyag pulong sa iyang asawa, nga nag-ingon, "Ayaw baya pagpanggilabut nianang tawo nga matarung, kay hilabihan sa akong pag-antus tungod kaniya pinaagi sa damgo karong adlawa."	Matthew 27:19 And while he was sitting on the judgment-seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that righteous man; for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
Mateo 27:20 Ug ang mga tawo giulo-ulohan sa mga sacerdote nga punoan ug sa mga anciano sa pagpangayo kang Barrabas ug sa pagpapatay kang Jesus.	Matthew 27:20 Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
Mateo 27:21 Ug ang gobernador miingon na usab kanila, "Hain niining duruha ang gusto ninyong buhian ko alang kaninyo?" Sila miingon, "Si Barrabas!"	Matthew 27:21 But the governor answered and said unto them, Which of the two will ye that I release unto you? And they said, Barabbas.
Mateo 27:22 Si Pilato miingon kanila, "Nan unsaon ko man kini si Jesus, ang ginatawag nga Cristo?" Silang tanan miingon, "Ilansang siya sa krus!"	Matthew 27:22 Pilate saith unto them, What then shall I do unto Jesus who is called Christ? They all say, Let him be crucified.
Mateo 27:23 Ug siya miingon, "Kay ngano man, unsa bay iyang nabuhat nga dautan?" Apan misamot sila sa pagsinggit nga nag-ingon, "Ilansang siya sa krus!"	Matthew 27:23 And he said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out exceedingly, saying, Let him be crucified.
Mateo 27:24 Busa, sa pagtan-aw ni Pilato nga wala siyay dag-anan, ug nga hapit na hinoon magsugod ang kagubot, mikuha siyag tubig ug sa atubangan sa panon sa katawhan nanghunaw siya sa iyang nga kamot, nga nag-ingon, "Wala akoy sala sa dugo niining tawhana; kamo na lay mag-igo niana."	Matthew 27:24 So when Pilate saw that he prevailed nothing, but rather that a tumult was arising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this righteous man; see ye [to it].
Mateo 27:25 Ug ang tanang mga tawo mitubag nga nanag-ingon, "Ang iyang dugo ipapaningil lang gikan kanamo ug sa among kaanakan!"	Matthew 27:25 And all the people answered and said, His blood [be] on us, and on our children.

Mateo 27:27 Ug si Jesus gidala sa mga sundalo sa gobernador ngadto sa palasyo, ug sa iyang atubangan ilang gipundok and tibuok bando sa kasundalohan.	Matthew 27:27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium, and gathered unto him the whole band.
Mateo 27:28 Ug sa nahuboan na siya nila, ilang gisul-oban siyag kupo nga mapula,	Matthew 27:28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
Mateo 27:29 ug sa nakalukong silag purongpurong nga sampinit, kini ilang gipahaum diha sa iyang ulo, ug ila siyang gipakupot ug baston nga bagakay sa iyang too nga kamot. Ug sa nagluhodluhod sila sa iyang atubangan sa pagbugalbugal kaniya, sila nagkanayon, "Mabuhi ang Hari sa mga Judio!"	Matthew 27:29 And they platted a crown of thorns and put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

Matthew 27:31 And when they had mocked him, they took off from him the robe, and put on him his garments, and led him away to crucify him.
Mateo 27:32 Ug sa pagpanggula nila sa siyudad, ilang hingsugatan ang usa ka tawo nga taga-Cirene, nga ginganlan si Simon; ug siya ilang gipugos sa pagpas-an sa krus ni Jesus.	Matthew 27:32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to go [with them], that he might bear his cross.
Mateo 27:33 Ug sa pag-abut nila sa usa sa ka dapit nga ginganlan ug Golgota (nga sa ato pa, dapit sa kalabera),	Matthew 27:33 And they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, The place of a skull,
Mateo 27:34 si Jesus ilang gihatagan ug bino nga sinambugan ug apdo aron iyang imnon; apan sa natilawan niya kini, midumili siya sa pag-inom niini.	Matthew 27:34 they gave him wine to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted it, he would not drink.
Mateo 27:35 Ug sa gikalansang na siya nila sa krus, ilang gibahinbahin ang iyang mga bisti tali kanila pinaagi sa ripa;	Matthew 27:35 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots;

Mateo 27:37 Ug sa uloibabaw kaniya, ilang gibutang ang sumbong batok kaniya, sinulat nga nag-ingon, "Mao kini si Jesus, ang Hari sa mga Judio."	Matthew 27:37 And they set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Mateo 27:38 Ug dihay duha ka mga tulisan nga gilansang sa krus uban kaniya, usa sa iyang too ug usa sa iyang wala.	Matthew 27:38 Then are there crucified with him two robbers, one on the right hand and one on the left.
Mateo 27:39 Ug siya gibiaybiay sa mga nanagpangagi nga nanagyangoyango sa ilang mga ulo	Matthew 27:39 And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads,
Mateo 27:40 ug nanag-ingon, "Ikaw nga maoy moguba sa templo ug mopatindog niini sulod sa tulo ka adlaw, luwasa ang imong kaugalingon! Anak ka man kaha sa Dios, kanaug sa krus."	Matthew 27:40 and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross.
Mateo 27:41 Maingon man usab ang mga sacerdote nga punoan, uban sa mga escriba ug mga anciano, kaniya nagbugalbugal nga nanag-ingon,	Matthew 27:41 In like manner also the chief priests mocking [him], with the scribes and elders, said,
Mateo 27:42 "Kana siya nagluwas sa uban, apan sa iyang kaugalingon dili na hinoon makaluwas. Siya mao ang Hari sa Israel; pakanauga siya karon gikan sa krus, ug unya mosalig kita kaniya.	Matthew 27:42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. He is the King of Israel; let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on him.
Mateo 27:43 Nagasalig siya sa Dios; ipaluwas siya kaniya, kon may gusto man ang Dios kaniya; kay nag-ingon man tuod siya, `Ako mao ang Anak sa Dios.`"	Matthew 27:43 He trusteth on God; let him deliver him now, if he desireth him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
Mateo 27:44 Ug ang mga tulisan nga gilansang sa krus uban kaniya nanamastamas usab kaniya sa samang paagi.	Matthew 27:44 And the robbers also that were crucified with him cast upon him the same reproach.
Mateo 27:45 Ug sukad sa ikanapulog-duha ang takna sa kaudtohon, dihay kangitngit sa tibuok kayutaan hangtud sa ikatulo ang takna sa hapon.	Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
Mateo 27:46 Ug sa may ikatulo na ang takna sa hapon, si Jesus mituwaw sa makusog nga tingog nga nag-ingon, "Eli, Eli, lama sabactani?" nga sa ato pa, "Dios ko, Dios ko, nganong gitalikdan mo ako."	Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Mateo 27:47 Ug dihay nanagtindog sa duol nga sa pagkadungog nila niini miingon, "Nagtawag siya kang Elias."	Matthew 27:47 And some of them stood there, when they heard it, said, This man calleth Elijah.

Matthew 27:48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
Mateo 27:49 Apan ang uban nanag-ingon, "Pasagdi lang; tan-awon ta kon moanhi ba si Elias aron sa pagluwas kaniya." Ug dihay mikuhag bangkaw ug iyang gidughang ang kilid ni Jesus, ug dihay miagay nga tubig ug dugo.	Matthew 27:49 And the rest said, Let be; let us see whether Elijah cometh to save him.
Mateo 27:50 Ug si Jesus miusab pagtuwaw sa makusog nga tingog ug unya mitugyan sa iyang espiritu.	Matthew 27:50 And Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit.
Mateo 27:51 Ug tan-awa, ang tabil sa templo nagilis sa duha ka bahin, gikan sa taas ngadto sa ubos, ug ang yuta mikurog, ug ang mga pangpang nangasip-ak;	Matthew 27:51 And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake; and the rocks were rent;
Mateo 27:52 ug nangaabli usab ang mga lubong, ug namangon ang daghang mga lawas sa mga balaan nga nangamatay na,	Matthew 27:52 and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints that had fallen asleep were raised;
Mateo 27:53 ug sa nakapanggula sila gikan sa mga lubong tapus sa iyang pagkabanhaw, nangadto sila sa siyudad nga balaan ug mipakita ngadto sa daghang mga tawo.	Matthew 27:53 and coming forth out of the tombs after his resurrection they entered into the holy city and appeared unto many.
Mateo 27:54 Ug sa diha nga ang kapitan ug ang iyang mga kauban nga nagbantay kang Jesus, nakakita sa linog ug sa mga butang nga nagkahitabo, sila nangahadlok pag-ayo ug miingon, "Sa pagkatinuod kini siya anak sa Dios!"	Matthew 27:54 Now the centurion, and they that were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
Mateo 27:55 Ug usab didtoy daghang mga babaye nga nagpaantaw sa pagtan-aw, mga babaye nga misunod kang Jesus sukad pa sa Galilea sa pag-alagad kaniya;	Matthew 27:55 And many women were there beholding from afar, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
Mateo 27:56 nga ang pipila kanila mao sila si Maria Magdalena, ug si Maria nga inahan nila ni Santiago ug ni Jose, ug ang inahan sa mga anak ni Zebedeo.	Matthew 27:56 among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.
Mateo 27:57 Ug sa pagkasawomsom na, dihay miabut nga usa ka tawong dato nga gikan sa Arimatea, nga ginganlan si Jose, nga tinun-an usab ni Jesus.	Matthew 27:57 And when even was come, there came a rich man from Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
Mateo 27:58 Siya miadto kang Pilato ug iyang gipangayo ang lawas ni Jesus. Ug si Pilato nagsugo nga ipahatag kini kaniya.	Matthew 27:58 this man went to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded it to be given up.
Mateo 27:59 Ug gikuha ni Jose ang lawas ug gilimisan niya kini sa malinis nga panaptong lino,	Matthew 27:59 And Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
Mateo 27:60 ug gipahimutang niya kini sa sulod sa iyang bag-ong lubnganan nga kinubkob niya diha sa kilid sa pangpang; ug iyang giligid ang usa ka dakung bato ug gisap-ong kini sa pultahan sa lubnganan, ug unya mipahawa siya.	Matthew 27:60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.
Mateo 27:61 Ug didto sila si Maria Magdalena ug ang lain pa nga Maria, nga nanaglingkod atbang sa lubnganan.	Matthew 27:61 And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
Mateo 27:62 Ug sa pagkasunod nga adlaw, sa ato pa, tapus sa adlaw sa Pangandam, ang mga sacerdote nga punoan ug ang mga Fariseo nanagtigum sa atubangan ni Pilato,	Matthew 27:62 Now on the morrow, which is [the day] after the Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees were gathered together unto Pilate,
Mateo 27:63 ug miingon kaniya, "Senyor, nahinumdom kami nga kadtong limbongan, sa buhi pa siya, nag-ingon, `Tapus sa tulo ka adlaw, mabanhaw ako."	Matthew 27:63 saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while he was yet alive, After three days I rise again.
Mateo 27:64 Busa magsugo ka nga ang lubnganan pabantayan pag-ayo hangtud sa ikatulong adlaw, kay tingali unyag adtoon ug kawaton siya sa iyang mga tinuin-an ug unya manugilon sila sla mga taawo nga manag-ingon, `Nabanhaw siya gikan sa mga patay,` ug ang ulahing limbong molabaw pa unya hinoon kangilad kay sa nahauna."	Matthew 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest haply his disciples come and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: and the last error will be worse than the first.
Mateo 27:65 Ug si Pilato miingon kanila, "Pagkuha kamog mga bantay nga sundalo; lumakaw kamo ug himoa ninyo kini nga malig-on sumala sa inyong mahimo."	Matthew 27:65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a guard: go, make it [as] sure as ye can.
Mateo 27:66 Ug sila nanglakaw ug ilang gilig-on ang lubnganan pinaagi sa pagtimri sa bato ug pagbutang didtog mga bantay.	Matthew 27:66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, the guard being with them.
