Esdras 4:1 Karon sa pagkadungog sa mga kabatok sa Juda ug Benjamin nga ang mga anak sa pagkabinihag nanagtukod ug usa ka templo kang Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel;	Ezra 4:1 Now news came to the haters of Judah and Benjamin that the people who had come back were building a Temple to the Lord, the God of Israel;
Esdras 4:2 Unya sila mingpahaduol kang Zorobabel, ug sa mga pangulo sa mga balay sa mga amahan, ug ming-ingon kanila: Patabanga kami sa pagtukod uban kaninyo; kay kami nangita sa inyong Dios, ingon sa inyong gibuhat; ug kami nanaghalad kaniya sukad pa sa mga adlaw ni Esar-haddon nga hari sa Asiria, nga maoy nagdala kanamo dinhi.	Ezra 4:2 Then they came to Zerubbabel and to the heads of families, and said to them, Let us take part in the building with you; for we are servants of your God, even as you are; and we have been making offerings to him from the days of Esar-haddon, king of Assyria, who put us here.

Ezra 4:3 But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of families in Israel said to them, You have no part with us in the building of a house for our God; we ourselves will do the work together for the Lord, the God of Israel, as Cyrus, king of Persia, has given us orders.
Esdras 4:4 Unya ang katawohan sa yuta nagpaluya sa mga kamot sa katawohan sa Juda, ug gisamok sila sa ilang pagtukod.	Ezra 4:4 Then the people of the land made the hands of the people of Judah feeble, troubling them with fear in their building;

Ezra 4:7 And in the time of Artaxerxes, Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabeel, and the rest of his friends, sent a letter to Artaxerxes, king of Persia, writing it in the Aramaean writing and language.
Esdras 4:8 Si Rehum ang labaw nga maghuhukom ug si Simsai ang kalihim nagsulat ug usa ka sulat batok sa Jerusalem ngadto kang Artajerjes nga hari ingon niining mosunod:	Ezra 4:8 Rehum, the chief ruler, and Shimshai the scribe, sent a letter against Jerusalem, to Artaxerxes the king;
Esdras 4:9 Unya misulat si Rehum ang labaw nga maghuhukom, ug si Simsai nga kalihim, ug uban pa sa iyang mga kauban, ang mga Dinehanon, ug ang mga Apharsathachehanon, ang mga Thepharlehanon, ang mga Apharsehanon, ang mga Erchuehanon, ang mga taga Babilonia, ang mga Susanchehanon, ang mga Dievehanon, ang mga Elamithanon.	Ezra 4:9 The letter was sent by Rehum, the chief ruler, and Shimshai the scribe and their friends; the Dinaites and the Apharsathchites, the Tarpelites, the Apharsites, the Archevites, the Babylonians, the Shushanchites, the Dehaites, the Elamites,
Esdras 4:10 Ug ang uban sa mga nasud nga gipanala sa daku ug halangdon nga Asnappar, ug gipahamutang didto sa ciudad sa Samaria, ug didto sa uban nga yuta unahan sa Suba, ug sa uban pa.	Ezra 4:10 And the rest of the nations which the great and noble Osnappar took over and put in Samaria and the rest of the country over the river:
Esdras 4:11 Kini mao ang hulad sa sulat nga ilang gipadala kang Artajerjes nga hari: Ang imong mga alagad nga mga tawo unahan sa Suba, ug sa uban pa.	Ezra 4:11 This is a copy of the letter which they sent to Artaxerxes the king: Your servants living across the river send these words:
Esdras 4:12 Angay nga kini hibaloan unta sa hari, nga ang mga Judio nga nangabut gikan kanimo ming-abut kanamo sa Jerusalem; sila nagatukod sa masukolon ug dautan nga ciudad, ug nakahuman na sa mga kuta, ug giayo ang mga patukoranan.	Ezra 4:12 We give news to the king that the Jews who came from you have come to us at Jerusalem; they are building up again that uncontrolled and evil town; the walls are complete and they are joining up the bases.
Esdras 4:13 Angay nga kini hibaloan unta karon sa hari, nga, kong kining ciudara matukod, ug ang mga kuta mahuman, sila dili mobayad sa buhis, alcabala, kun amot alang sa dalan, ug sa katapusan kini mahimong kadaut sa mga hari.	Ezra 4:13 The king may be certain that when the building of this town and its walls is complete, they will give no tax or payment in goods or forced payments, and in the end it will be a cause of loss to the kings.
Esdras 4:14 Karon tungod kay kami nagakaon sa asin sa palacio, ug dili angay kanamo ang pagtan-aw sa hari nga kakuhaan sa kadungganan, busa nagapadala kami ug nagapamatuod sa hari;	Ezra 4:14 Now because we are responsible to the king, and it is not right for us to see the king's honour damaged, we have sent to give the king word of these things,
Esdras 4:15 Nga ang pagsusi himoon unta diha sa basahon sa mga kaagi sa imong mga amahan: aron ikaw makakaplag diha sa basahon sa mga kaagi, ug mahibalo nga kining ciudara maoy usa ka masukolon nga ciudad, ug makadaut sa mga hari ug sa mga lalawigan, ug nga sila naghimo ug pag-alsa batok sa maong lungsod sa unang panahon; sa maong hinungdan kining ciudara gihimong kamingawan.	Ezra 4:15 So that search may be made in the book of the records of your fathers: and you will see in the book of the records that this town has been uncontrolled, and a cause of trouble to kings and countries, and that there were outbursts against authority there in the past: for which reason the town was made waste.

Ezra 4:16 We give you word, that if the building of this town and its walls is made complete, there will be an end of your power in the country across the river.
Esdras 4:17 Unya ang hari nagpadala ug usa ka tubag ngadto kang Rehum, ang labaw nga maghuhukom, ug ngadto kang Simsai nga escriba, ug ngadto sa uban pa sa ilang mga kauban nga nanagpuyo sa Samaria, ug sa uban nga yuta unahan sa Suba: Pakigdait, ug uban pa.	Ezra 4:17 Then the king sent an answer to Rehum, the chief ruler, and Shimshai the scribe, and their friends living in Samaria, and to the rest of those across the river, saying, Peace to you:
Esdras 4:18 Ang sulat nga imong gipadala kanamo gibasa sa matin-aw gayud sa akong atubangan.	Ezra 4:18 And now the sense of the letter which you sent to us has been made clear to me,
Esdras 4:19 Ug ako nagsugo, ug ang pagsusi gihimo, ug nakita nga kining ciudara sa unahang panahon naghimo ug kagubot batok sa mga hari, ug nga ang pag-alsa ug pagsukol gihimo didto.	Ezra 4:19 And I gave orders for a search to be made, and it is certain that in the past this town has made trouble for kings, and that outbursts against authority have taken place there.
Esdras 4:20 May mga gamhanang hari usab sa ibabaw sa Jerusalem, nga naghari sa tibook nga yuta unahan sa Suba; ug buhis, alcabala, ug amot alang sa dalan, gibayad ngadto kanila.	Ezra 4:20 Further, there have been great kings in Jerusalem, ruling over all the country across the river, to whom they gave taxes and payments in goods and forced payments.
Esdras 4:21 Himoon ninyo karon ang usa ka pahibalo sa pagpahunong niining mga tawohana ug nga kining ciudara dili tukoron, hangtud nga ang usa ka pagbulot-an pagahimoon nako.	Ezra 4:21 Give an order now, that these men are to do nothing more, and that the building of the town is to be stopped, till I give an order.
Esdras 4:22 Ug pagbantay nga kamo dili magmaluya dinhi niini: ngano nga ang kadaut magadugang ngadto sa kapildihan sa mga hari?	Ezra 4:22 Be certain to do this with all care: do not let trouble be increased to the king's damage.
Esdras 4:23 Unya sa gibasa ang hulad sa sulat sa hari nga si Artajerjes sa atubangan ni Rehum, ug ni Simsai nga escriba, ug sa ilang mga kauban, sila ming-adto sa madali sa Jerusalem ngadto sa mga Judio, ug gipahunong sila pinaagi sa pagpugos ug gahum.	Ezra 4:23 Then, after reading the king's letter, Rehum and Shimshai the scribe and their friends went quickly to Jerusalem, to the Jews, and had them stopped by force.
Esdras 4:24 Unya nahunong ang buhat sa balay sa Dios nga didto sa Jerusalem; ug kini nahunong hangtud sa ikaduhang tuig sa paghari ni Dario, nga hari sa Persia.	Ezra 4:24 So the work of the house of God at Jerusalem came to an end; so it was stopped, till the second year of the rule of Darius, king of Persia.
