申命記 2	Deuteronomy 2
申命記 2:1 ^ 此後、我們轉回、從紅海的路往曠野去、是照耶和華所吩咐我的．我們在西珥山繞行了許多日子。	Deuteronomy 2:1 ^ Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea, as Jehovah spake unto me; and we compassed mount Seir many days.
申命記 2:2 ^ 耶和華對我說、	Deuteronomy 2:2 ^ And Jehovah spake unto me, saying,
申命記 2:3 ^ 你們繞行這山的日子彀了、要轉向北去。	Deuteronomy 2:3 ^ Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.
申命記 2:4 ^ 你吩咐百姓說、你們弟兄以掃的子孫、住在西珥、你們要經過他們的境界．他們必懼怕你們、所以你們要分外謹慎。	Deuteronomy 2:4 ^ And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the border of your brethren the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore;
申命記 2:5 ^ 不可與他們爭戰、他們的地、連腳掌可踏之處、我都不給你們、因我已將西珥山賜給以掃為業。	Deuteronomy 2:5 ^ contend not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
申命記 2:6 ^ 你們要用錢向他們買糧喫、也要用錢向他們買水喝。	Deuteronomy 2:6 ^ Ye shall purchase food of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.
申命記 2:7 ^ 因為耶和華你的　神、在你手裡所辦的一切事上、已賜福與你．你走這大曠野他都知道了．這四十年、耶和華你的　神常與你同在、故此你一無所缺。	Deuteronomy 2:7 ^ For Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee in all the work of thy hand; he hath known thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years Jehovah thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
申命記 2:8 ^ 於是我們離了我們弟兄以掃子孫所住的西珥、從亞拉巴的路、經過以拉他、以旬迦別、轉向摩押曠野的路去。	Deuteronomy 2:8 ^ So we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah from Elath and from Ezion-geber. And we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.
申命記 2:9 ^ 耶和華吩咐我說、不可擾害摩押人、也不可與他們爭戰．他們的地我不賜給你為業、因我已將亞珥賜給羅得的子孫為業。	Deuteronomy 2:9 ^ And Jehovah said unto me, Vex not Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give thee of his land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.
申命記 2:10 ^ （先前、有以米人住在那裡、民數眾多、身體高大、像亞衲人一樣。	Deuteronomy 2:10 ^ (The Emim dwelt therein aforetime, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakim:
申命記 2:11 ^ 這以米人像亞衲人、也算為利乏音人、摩押人稱他們為以米人。	Deuteronomy 2:11 ^ these also are accounted Rephaim, as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim.
申命記 2:12 ^ 先前、何利人也住在西珥、但以掃的子孫將他們除滅、得了他們的地、接著居住、就如以色列在耶和華賜給他為業之地所行的一樣。）	Deuteronomy 2:12 ^ The Horites also dwelt in Seir aforetime, but the children of Esau succeeded them; and they destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which Jehovah gave unto them.)
申命記 2:13 ^ 現在起來過撒烈溪．於是我們過了撒烈溪。	Deuteronomy 2:13 ^ Now rise up, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
申命記 2:14 ^ 自從離開加低斯巴尼亞、到過了撒烈溪的時候、共有三十八年、等那世代的兵丁、都從營中滅盡、正如耶和華向他們所起的誓。	Deuteronomy 2:14 ^ And the days in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, were thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the midst of the camp, as Jehovah sware unto them.
申命記 2:15 ^ 耶和華的手也攻擊他們、將他們從營中除滅、直到滅盡。	Deuteronomy 2:15 ^ Moreover the hand of Jehovah was against them, to destroy them from the midst of the camp, until they were consumed.
申命記 2:16 ^ 兵丁從民中都滅盡死亡以後、	Deuteronomy 2:16 ^ So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,
申命記 2:17 ^ 耶和華吩咐我說、	Deuteronomy 2:17 ^ that Jehovah spake unto me, saying,
申命記 2:18 ^ 你今天要從摩押的境界亞珥經過、	Deuteronomy 2:18 ^ Thou art this day to pass over Ar, the border of Moab:
申命記 2:19 ^ 走近亞捫人之地、不可擾害他們、也不可與他們爭戰、亞捫人的地我不賜給你們為業、因我已將那地賜給羅得的子孫為業。	Deuteronomy 2:19 ^ and when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, vex them not, nor contend with them; for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.
申命記 2:20 ^ （那地也算為利乏音人之地、先前、利乏音人住在那裡、亞捫人稱他們為散送冥。	Deuteronomy 2:20 ^ (That also is accounted a land of Rephaim: Rephaim dwelt therein aforetime; but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,
申命記 2:21 ^ 那民眾多身體高大、像亞衲人一樣、但耶和華從亞捫人面前除滅他們、亞捫人就得了他們的地、接著居住．	Deuteronomy 2:21 ^ a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakim; but Jehovah destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead;
申命記 2:22 ^ 正如耶和華從前為住西珥的以掃子孫、將何利人從他們面前除滅．他們得了何利人的地、接著居住一樣、直到今日。	Deuteronomy 2:22 ^ as he did for the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:
申命記 2:23 ^ 從迦斐託出來的迦斐託人、將先前住在鄉村直到迦薩的亞衛人除滅、接著居住。）	Deuteronomy 2:23 ^ and the Avvim, that dwelt in villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorim, that came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)
申命記 2:24 ^ 你們起來前往、過亞嫩谷、我已將亞摩利人希實本王西宏、和他的地、交在你手中、你要與他爭戰得他的地為業。	Deuteronomy 2:24 ^ Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon: behold, I have given into thy hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
申命記 2:25 ^ 從今日起我要使天下萬民、聽見你的名聲都驚恐、懼怕、且因你發顫傷慟。	Deuteronomy 2:25 ^ This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the peoples that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear the report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.
申命記 2:26 ^ 我從基底莫的曠野、差遣使者去見希實本王西宏、用和睦的話說、	Deuteronomy 2:26 ^ And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,
申命記 2:27 ^ 求你容我從你的地經過、只走大道、不偏左右。	Deuteronomy 2:27 ^ Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the highway, I will turn neither unto the right hand nor to the left.
申命記 2:28 ^ 你可以賣糧給我喫、也可以賣水給我喝、只要容我步行過去．	Deuteronomy 2:28 ^ Thou shalt sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only let me pass through on my feet,
申命記 2:29 ^ 就如住西珥的以掃子孫、和住亞珥的摩押人待我一樣、等我過了約但河、好進入耶和華我們　神所賜給我們的地。	Deuteronomy 2:29 ^ as the children of Esau that dwell in Seir, and the Moabites that dwell in Ar, did unto me; until I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which Jehovah our God giveth us.
申命記 2:30 ^ 但希實本王西宏、不容我們從他那裡經過、因為耶和華你的　神使他心中剛硬、性情頑梗、為要將他交在你手中、像今日一樣。	Deuteronomy 2:30 ^ But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as at this day.
申命記 2:31 ^ 耶和華對我說、從此起首、我要將西宏和他的地、交給你、你要得他的地為業。	Deuteronomy 2:31 ^ And Jehovah said unto me, Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.
申命記 2:32 ^ 那時西宏和他的眾民、出來攻擊我們、在雅雜與我們交戰。	Deuteronomy 2:32 ^ Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, unto battle at Jahaz.
申命記 2:33 ^ 耶和華我們的　神、將他交給我們、我們就把他和他的兒子、並他的眾民都擊殺了。	Deuteronomy 2:33 ^ And Jehovah our God delivered him up before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
申命記 2:34 ^ 我們奪了他的一切城邑、將有人煙的各城、連女人帶孩子、盡都毀滅、沒有留下一個。	Deuteronomy 2:34 ^ And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones; we left none remaining:
申命記 2:35 ^ 惟有牲畜、和所奪的各城、並其中的財物、都取為自己的掠物。	Deuteronomy 2:35 ^ only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, with the spoil of the cities which we had taken.
申命記 2:36 ^ 從亞嫩谷邊的亞羅珥、和谷中的城、直到基列、耶和華我們的　神都交給我們了、沒有一座城高得使我們不能攻取的。	Deuteronomy 2:36 ^ From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and [from] the city that is in the valley, even unto Gilead, there was not a city too high for us; Jehovah our God delivered up all before us:
申命記 2:37 ^ 惟有亞捫人之地、凡靠近雅博河的地、並山地的城邑、與耶和華我們　神所禁止我們去的地方、都沒有挨近。	Deuteronomy 2:37 ^ only to the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not near; all the side of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill-country, and wheresoever Jehovah our God forbade us.
