以斯帖記 3	Esther 3
以斯帖記 3:1 ^ 這事以後、亞哈隨魯王抬舉亞甲族哈米大他的兒子哈曼、使他高升、叫他的爵位超過與他同事的一切臣宰。	Esther 3:1 ^ After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him.
以斯帖記 3:2 ^ 在朝門的一切臣僕、都跪拜哈曼、因為王如此吩咐．惟獨末底改不跪不拜．	Esther 3:2 ^ And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed down, and did reverence to Haman; for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence.
以斯帖記 3:3 ^ 在朝門的臣僕問末底改說、你為何違背王的命令呢．	Esther 3:3 ^ Then the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king's commandment?
以斯帖記 3:4 ^ 他們天天勸他、他還是不聽、他們就告訴哈曼、要看末底改的事站得住站不住、因他已經告訴他們自己是猶大人．	Esther 3:4 ^ Now it came to pass, when they spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew.
以斯帖記 3:5 ^ 哈曼見末底改不跪不拜、他就怒氣填胸．	Esther 3:5 ^ And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.
以斯帖記 3:6 ^ 他們已將末底改的本族告訴哈曼、他以為下手害末底改一人是小事、就要滅絕亞哈隨魯王通國所有的猶大人、就是末底改的本族。	Esther 3:6 ^ But he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had made known to him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.
以斯帖記 3:7 ^ 亞哈隨魯王十二年正月、就是尼散月、人在哈曼面前、按日日月月掣普珥、就是掣籤、要定何月何日為吉、擇定了十二月、就是亞達月。	Esther 3:7 ^ In the first month, which is the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, [to] the twelfth [month], which is the month Adar.
以斯帖記 3:8 ^ 哈曼對亞哈隨魯王說、有一種民、散居在王國各省的民中、他們的律例、與萬民的律例不同、也不守王的律例、所以容留他們與王無益．	Esther 3:8 ^ And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from [those of] every people; neither keep they the king's laws: therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.
以斯帖記 3:9 ^ 王若以為美、請下旨意滅絕他們．我就捐一萬他連得銀子、交給掌管國帑的人、納入王的府庫．	Esther 3:9 ^ If it please the king, let it be written that they be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those that have the charge of the [king's] business, to bring it into the king's treasuries.
以斯帖記 3:10 ^ 於是王從自己手上摘下戒指、給猶大人的仇敵、亞甲族哈米大他的兒子哈曼．	Esther 3:10 ^ And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews' enemy.
以斯帖記 3:11 ^ 王對哈曼說、這銀子仍賜給你、這民也交給你、你可以隨意待他們。	Esther 3:11 ^ And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.
以斯帖記 3:12 ^ 正月十三日就召了王的書記來、照著哈曼一切所吩咐的、用各省的文字、各族的方言、奉亞哈隨魯王的名寫旨意、傳與總督和各省的省長、並各族的首領、又用王的戒指蓋印．	Esther 3:12 ^ Then were the king's scribes called in the first month, on the thirteenth day thereof; and there was written according to all that Haman commanded unto the king's satraps, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the princes of every people, to every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and it was sealed with the king's ring.
以斯帖記 3:13 ^ 交給驛卒傳到王的各省、吩咐將猶大人、無論老少婦女孩子、在一日之間、十二月、就是亞達月十三日、全然剪除、殺戮滅絕、並奪他們的財為掠物．	Esther 3:13 ^ And letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to slay, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth [day] of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
以斯帖記 3:14 ^ 抄錄這旨意、頒行各省、宣告各族、使他們豫備等候那日．	Esther 3:14 ^ A copy of the writing, that the decree should be given out in every province, was published unto all the peoples, that they should be ready against that day.
以斯帖記 3:15 ^ 驛卒奉王命急忙起行、旨意也傳遍書珊城。王同哈曼坐下飲酒．書珊城的民卻都慌亂。	Esther 3:15 ^ The posts went forth in haste by the king's commandment, and the decree was given out in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city of Shushan was perplexed.
