詩篇 140:1 ^ 〔大衛的詩、交與伶長。〕耶和華阿、求你拯救我脫離兇惡的人、保護我脫離強暴的人。	Psalms 140:1 ^ Deliver me, O Jehovah, from the evil man; Preserve me from the violent man:
詩篇 140:2 ^ 他們心中圖謀奸惡、常常聚集要爭戰。	Psalms 140:2 ^ Who devise mischiefs in their heart; Continually do they gather themselves together for war.
詩篇 140:3 ^ 他們使舌頭尖利如蛇．嘴裡有虺蛇的毒氣。〔細拉〕	Psalms 140:3 ^ They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders' poison is under their lips. Selah
詩篇 140:4 ^ 耶和華阿、求你拯救我、脫離惡人的手、保護我、脫離強暴的人．他們圖謀推我跌倒。	Psalms 140:4 ^ Keep me, O Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from the violent man: Who have purposed to thrust aside my steps.
詩篇 140:5 ^ 驕傲人為我暗設網羅和繩索．他們在路旁鋪下網、設下圈套。〔細拉〕	Psalms 140:5 ^ The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; They have spread a net by the wayside; They have set gins for me. Selah
詩篇 140:6 ^ 我曾對耶和華說、你是我的　神．耶和華阿、求你留心聽我懇求的聲音。	Psalms 140:6 ^ I said unto Jehovah, Thou art my God: Give ear unto the voice of my supplications, O Jehovah.
詩篇 140:7 ^ 主耶和華、我救恩的力量阿、在爭戰的日子、你遮蔽了我的頭。	Psalms 140:7 ^ O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation, Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
詩篇 140:8 ^ 耶和華阿、求你不要遂惡人的心願．不要成就他們的計謀、恐怕他們自高。〔細拉〕	Psalms 140:8 ^ Grant not, O Jehovah, the desires of the wicked; Further not his evil device, [lest] they exalt themselves. Selah
詩篇 140:9 ^ 至於那些昂首圍困我的人、願他們嘴唇的奸惡、陷害〔原文作遮蔽〕自己。	Psalms 140:9 ^ As for the head of those that compass me about, Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
詩篇 140:10 ^ 願火炭落在他們身上．願他們被丟在火中、拋在深坑裡、不能再起來。	Psalms 140:10 ^ Let burning coals fall upon them: Let them be cast into the fire, Into deep pits, whence they shall not rise.
詩篇 140:11 ^ 說惡言的人、在地上必堅立不住．禍患必獵取強暴的人、將他打倒。	Psalms 140:11 ^ An evil speaker shall not be established in the earth: Evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
詩篇 140:12 ^ 我知道耶和華必為困苦人伸冤、必為窮乏人辨屈。	Psalms 140:12 ^ I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted, And justice for the needy.
詩篇 140:13 ^ 義人必要稱讚你的名．正直人必住在你面前。	Psalms 140:13 ^ Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: The upright shall dwell in thy presence. Psalm 141 A Psalm of David.
