Psalmen 127:1 Wo der HERR nicht das Haus baut, so arbeiten umsonst, die daran bauen. Wo der HERR nicht die Stadt behütet, so wacht der Wächter umsonst.	Psalms 127:1 Except Jehovah build the house, They labor in vain that build it: Except Jehovah keep the city, The watchman waketh but in vain.
Psalmen 127:2 Es ist umsonst, daß ihr früh aufstehet und hernach lange sitzet und esset euer Brot mit Sorgen; denn seinen Freunden gibt er's schlafend.	Psalms 127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, To take rest late, To eat the bread of toil; [For] so he giveth unto his beloved sleep.
Psalmen 127:3 Siehe, Kinder sind eine Gabe des HERRN, und Leibesfrucht ist ein Geschenk.	Psalms 127:3 Lo, children are a heritage of Jehovah; [And] the fruit of the womb is [his] reward.
Psalmen 127:4 Wie die Pfeile in der Hand des Starken, also geraten die jungen Knaben.	Psalms 127:4 As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, So are the children of youth.
Psalmen 127:5 Wohl dem, der seinen Köcher derselben voll hat! Die werden nicht zu Schanden, wenn sie mit ihren Feinden handeln im Tor.	Psalms 127:5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: They shall not be put to shame, When they speak with their enemies in the gate. Psalm 128 A Song of Ascents.
