Psalmen 17:1 HERR, erhöre die Gerechtigkeit, merke auf mein Schreien; vernimm mein Gebet, das nicht aus falschem Munde geht.	Psalms 17:1 A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O Jehovah, attend unto my cry; Give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.
Psalmen 17:2 Sprich du in meiner Sache und schaue du aufs Recht.	Psalms 17:2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; Let thine eyes look upon equity.
Psalmen 17:3 Du prüfst mein Herz und siehst nach ihm des Nachts und läuterst mich, und findest nichts. Ich habe mir vorgesetzt, daß mein Mund nicht soll übertreten.	Psalms 17:3 Thou hast proved my heart; thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and findest nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
Psalmen 17:4 Ich bewahre mich in dem Wort deiner Lippen vor Menschenwerk, vor dem Wege des Mörders.	Psalms 17:4 As for the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent.
Psalmen 17:5 Erhalte meinen Gang auf deinen Fußsteigen, daß meine Tritte nicht gleiten.	Psalms 17:5 My steps have held fast to thy paths, My feet have not slipped.
Psalmen 17:6 Ich rufe zu dir, daß du, Gott, wollest mich erhören; neige deine Ohren zu mir, höre meine Rede.	Psalms 17:6 I have called upon thee, for thou wilt answer me, O God: Incline thine ear unto me, [and] hear my speech.
Psalmen 17:7 Beweise deine wunderbare Güte, du Heiland derer, die dir vertrauen, wider die, so sich gegen deine rechte Hand setzen.	Psalms 17:7 Show thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them that take refuge [in thee ]From those that rise up [against them].
Psalmen 17:8 Behüte mich wie einen Augapfel im Auge, beschirme mich unter dem Schatten deiner Flügel	Psalms 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me under the shadow of thy wings,
Psalmen 17:9 vor den Gottlosen, die mich verstören, vor meinen Feinden, die um und um nach meiner Seele stehen.	Psalms 17:9 From the wicked that oppress me, My deadly enemies, that compass me about.
Psalmen 17:10 Ihr Herz schließen sie zu; mit ihrem Munde reden sie stolz.	Psalms 17:10 They are inclosed in their own fat: With their mouth they speak proudly.
Psalmen 17:11 Wo wir gehen, so umgeben sie uns; ihre Augen richten sie dahin, daß sie uns zur Erde stürzen;	Psalms 17:11 They have now compassed us in our steps; They set their eyes to cast [us] down to the earth.
Psalmen 17:12 gleichwie ein Löwe, der des Raubes begehrt, wie ein junger Löwe, der in der Höhle sitzt.	Psalms 17:12 He is like a lion that is greedy of his prey, And as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
Psalmen 17:13 HERR, mache dich auf, überwältige ihn und demütige ihn, errette meine Seele von dem Gottlosen mit deinem Schwert,	Psalms 17:13 Arise, O Jehovah, Confront him, cast him down: Deliver my soul from the wicked by thy sword;
Psalmen 17:14 von den Leuten mit deiner Hand, HERR, von den Leuten dieser Welt, welche ihr Teil haben in ihrem Leben, welchen du den Bauch füllst mit deinem Schatz, die da Söhne die Fülle haben und lassen ihr übriges ihren Kindern.	Psalms 17:14 From men by thy hand, O Jehovah, From men of the world, whose portion is in [this] life, And whose belly thou fillest with thy treasure: They are satisfied with children, And leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
Psalmen 17:15 Ich aber will schauen dein Antlitz in Gerechtigkeit; ich will satt werden, wenn ich erwache, an deinem Bilde.	Psalms 17:15 As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with [beholding] thy form.
