Psalmen 72:1 Gott, gib dein Gericht dem König und deine Gerechtigkeit des Königs Sohne,	Psalms 72:1 [A Psalm] of Solomon. Give the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king's son.
Psalmen 72:2 daß er dein Volk richte mit Gerechtigkeit und deine Elenden rette.	Psalms 72:2 He will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.
Psalmen 72:3 Laß die Berge den Frieden bringen unter das Volk und die Hügel die Gerechtigkeit.	Psalms 72:3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.
Psalmen 72:4 Er wird das elende Volk bei Recht erhalten und den Armen helfen und die Lästerer zermalmen.	Psalms 72:4 He will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.
Psalmen 72:5 Man wird dich fürchten, solange die Sonne und der Mond währt, von Kind zu Kindeskindern.	Psalms 72:5 They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, And so long as the moon, throughout all generations.
Psalmen 72:6 Er wird herabfahren wie der Regen auf die Aue, wie die Tropfen, die das Land feuchten.	Psalms 72:6 He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.
Psalmen 72:7 Zu seinen Zeiten wird erblühen der Gerechte und großer Friede, bis daß der Mond nimmer sei.	Psalms 72:7 In his days shall the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.
Psalmen 72:8 Er wird herrschen von einem Meer bis ans andere und von dem Strom an bis zu der Welt Enden.	Psalms 72:8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth.
Psalmen 72:9 Vor ihm werden sich neigen die in der Wüste, und seine Feinde werden Staub lecken.	Psalms 72:9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust.
Psalmen 72:10 Die Könige zu Tharsis und auf den Inseln werden Geschenke bringen; die Könige aus Reicharabien und Seba werden Gaben zuführen.	Psalms 72:10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute: The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Psalmen 72:11 Alle Könige werden ihn anbeten; alle Heiden werden ihm dienen.	Psalms 72:11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him; All nations shall serve him.
Psalmen 72:12 Denn er wird den Armen erretten, der da schreit, und den Elenden, der keinen Helfer hat.	Psalms 72:12 For he will deliver the needy when he crieth, And the poor, that hath no helper.
Psalmen 72:13 Er wird gnädig sein den Geringen und Armen, und den Seelen der Armen wird er helfen.	Psalms 72:13 He will have pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he will save.
Psalmen 72:14 Er wird ihre Seele aus dem Trug und Frevel erlösen, und ihr Blut wird teuer geachtet werden vor ihm.	Psalms 72:14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence; And precious will their blood be in his sight:
Psalmen 72:15 Er wird leben, und man wird ihm von Gold aus Reicharabien geben. Und man wird immerdar für ihn beten; täglich wird man ihn segnen.	Psalms 72:15 And they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: And men shall pray for him continually; They shall bless him all the day long.
Psalmen 72:16 Auf Erden, oben auf den Bergen, wird das Getreide dick stehen; seine Frucht wird rauschen wie der Libanon, und sie werden grünen wie das Gras auf Erden.	Psalms 72:16 There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
Psalmen 72:17 Sein Name wird ewiglich bleiben; solange die Sonne währt, wird sein Name auf die Nachkommen reichen, und sie werden durch denselben gesegnet sein; alle Heiden werden ihn preisen.	Psalms 72:17 His name shall endure for ever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him; All nations shall call him happy.
Psalmen 72:18 Gelobet sei Gott der HERR, der Gott Israels, der allein Wunder tut;	Psalms 72:18 Blessed be Jehovah God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things:
Psalmen 72:19 und gelobet sei sein herrlicher Name ewiglich; und alle Lande müssen seiner Ehre voll werden! Amen, amen.	Psalms 72:19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever; And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.
Psalmen 72:20 Ein Ende haben die Gebete Davids, des Sohnes Isais.	Psalms 72:20 The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.
