Amos 2:1 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Moabs will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gebeine des Königs zu Edom haben zu Asche verbrannt;	Amos 2:1 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of Moab, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because he had the bones of the king of Edom burned to dust.
Amos 2:2 sondern ich will ein Feuer schicken nach Moab, das soll die Paläste zu Karioth verzehren; und Moab soll sterben im Getümmel und Geschrei und Posaunenhall.	Amos 2:2 And I will send a fire on Moab, burning up the great houses of Kerioth: and death will come on Moab with noise and outcries and the sound of the horn:
Amos 2:3 Und ich will den Richter unter ihnen ausrotten und alle ihre Fürsten samt ihm erwürgen, spricht der HERR.	Amos 2:3 And I will have the judge cut off from among them, and all their captains I will put to death with him, says the Lord.
Amos 2:4 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Juda's will ich sein nicht schonen, darum daß sie des HERRN Gesetz verachten und seine Rechte nicht halten und lassen sich ihre Lügen verführen, welchen ihre Väter nachgefolgt sind;	Amos 2:4 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of Judah, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because they have given up the law of the Lord, and have not kept his rules; and their false ways, in which their fathers went, have made them go out of the right way.
Amos 2:5 sondern ich will ein Feuer nach Juda schicken, das soll die Paläste zu Jerusalem verzehren.	Amos 2:5 And I will send a fire on Judah, burning up the great houses of Jerusalem.
Amos 2:6 So spricht der HERR: Um drei und vier Frevel willen Israels will ich ihrer nicht schonen, darum daß sie die Gerechten um Geld und die Armen um ein Paar Schuhe verkaufen.	Amos 2:6 These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of Israel, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because they have given the upright man for silver, and the poor for the price of two shoes;
Amos 2:7 Sie treten den Kopf der Armen in den Kot und hindern den Weg der Elenden. Es geht Sohn und Vater zur Dirne, daß sie meinen heiligen Namen entheiligen.	Amos 2:7 Crushing the head of the poor, and turning the steps of the gentle out of the way: and a man and his father go in to the same young woman, putting shame on my holy name:
Amos 2:8 Und bei allen Altären schlemmen sie auf den verpfändeten Kleidern und trinken Wein in ihrer Götter Hause von den Gebüßten.	Amos 2:8 By every altar they are stretched on clothing taken from those who are in their debt, drinking in the house of their god the wine of those who have made payment for wrongdoing.
Amos 2:9 Und ich habe doch den Amoriter vor ihnen her vertilgt, der so hoch war wie die Zedern und seine Macht wie die Eichen; und ich vertilgte oben seine Frucht und unten seine Wurzel.	Amos 2:9 Though I sent destruction on the Amorite before them, who was tall as the cedar and strong as the oak-tree, cutting off his fruit from on high and his roots from under the earth.
Amos 2:10 Auch habe ich euch aus Ägyptenland geführt und vierzig Jahre in der Wüste geleitet, daß ihr der Amoriter Land besäßet.	Amos 2:10 And I took you up out of the land of Egypt, guiding you for forty years in the waste land, so that you might take for your heritage the land of the Amorite.
Amos 2:11 Und habe aus euren Kindern Propheten auferweckt und Gottgeweihte aus euren Jünglingen. Ist's nicht also, ihr Kinder Israel? spricht der HERR.	Amos 2:11 And some of your sons I made prophets, and some of your young men I made separate for myself. Is it not even so, O children of Israel? says the Lord.
Amos 2:12 So gebt ihr den Geweihten Wein zu trinken und gebietet den Propheten und sprecht: Ihr sollt nicht weissagen!	Amos 2:12 But to those who were separate you gave wine for drink; and to the prophets you said, Be prophets no longer.
Amos 2:13 Siehe, ich will's unter euch knarren machen, wie ein Wagen voll Garben knarrt,	Amos 2:13 See, I am crushing you down, as one is crushed under a cart full of grain.
Amos 2:14 daß der, so schnell ist, soll nicht entfliehen noch der Starke etwas vermögen und der Mächtige nicht soll sein Leben retten können;	Amos 2:14 And flight will be impossible for the quick-footed, and the force of the strong will become feeble, and the man of war will not get away safely:
Amos 2:15 und die Bogenschützen sollen nicht bestehen, und der schnell laufen kann, soll nicht entlaufen, und der da reitet, soll sein Leben nicht erretten;	Amos 2:15 And the bowman will not keep his place; he who is quick-footed will not get away safely: and the horseman will not keep his life.
Amos 2:16 und der unter den Starken der mannhafteste ist, soll nackt entfliehen müssen zu der Zeit, spricht der HERR.	Amos 2:16 And he who is without fear among the fighting men will go in flight without his clothing in that day, says the Lord.
