Deuteronomium 22:1 Wenn du deines Bruders Ochsen oder Schaf siehst irregehen, so sollst du dich nicht entziehen von ihnen, sondern sollst sie wieder zu deinem Bruder führen.	Deuteronomy 22:1 If you see your brother's ox or his sheep wandering, do not go by without helping, but take them back to your brother.
Deuteronomium 22:2 Wenn aber dein Bruder dir nicht nahe ist und du kennst ihn nicht, so sollst du sie in dein Haus nehmen, daß sie bei dir seien, bis sie dein Bruder suche, und sollst sie ihm dann wiedergeben.	Deuteronomy 22:2 If their owner is not near, or if you are not certain who he is, then take the beast to your house and keep it till its owner comes in search of it, and then you are to give it back to him.
Deuteronomium 22:3 Also sollst du tun mit seinem Esel, mit seinem Kleid und mit allem Verlorenen, das dein Bruder verliert und du findest; du kannst dich nicht entziehen.	Deuteronomy 22:3 Do the same with his ass or his robe or anything which has gone from your brother's keeping and which you have come across: do not keep it to yourself.
Deuteronomium 22:4 Wenn du deines Bruders Esel oder Ochsen siehst fallen auf dem Wege, so sollst du dich nicht von ihm entziehen, sondern sollst ihm aufhelfen.	Deuteronomy 22:4 If you see your brother's ox or his ass falling down on the road, do not go by without giving him help in lifting it up again.
Deuteronomium 22:5 Ein Weib soll nicht Mannsgewand tragen, und ein Mann soll nicht Weiberkleider antun; denn wer solches tut, der ist dem HERRN, deinem Gott, ein Greuel.	Deuteronomy 22:5 It is not right for a woman to be dressed in man's clothing, or for a man to put on a woman's robe: whoever does such things is disgusting to the Lord your God.
Deuteronomium 22:6 Wenn du auf dem Wege findest ein Vogelnest auf einem Baum oder auf der Erde, mit Jungen oder mit Eiern, und daß die Mutter auf den Jungen oder auf den Eiern sitzt, so sollst du nicht die Mutter mit den Jungen nehmen,	Deuteronomy 22:6 If by chance you see a place which a bird has made for itself in a tree or on the earth, with young ones or eggs, and the mother bird seated on the young ones or on the eggs, do not take the mother bird with the young:
Deuteronomium 22:7 sondern sollst die Mutter fliegen lassen und die Jungen nehmen, auf daß dir's wohl gehe und du lange lebest.	Deuteronomy 22:7 See that you let the mother bird go, but the young ones you may take; so it will be well for you and your life will be long.
Deuteronomium 22:8 Wenn du ein neues Haus baust, so mache eine Lehne darum auf deinem Dache, auf daß du nicht Blut auf dein Haus ladest, wenn jemand herabfiele.	Deuteronomy 22:8 If you are building a house, make a railing for the roof, so that the blood of any man falling from it will not come on your house.
Deuteronomium 22:9 Du sollst deinen Weinberg nicht mit mancherlei besäen, daß nicht dem Heiligtum verfalle die Fülle, der Same, den du gesät hast, samt dem Ertrage des Weinbergs.	Deuteronomy 22:9 Do not have your vine-garden planted with two sorts of seed: or all of it may become a loss, the seed you have put in as well as the increase.
Deuteronomium 22:10 Du sollst nicht ackern zugleich mit einem Ochsen und Esel.	Deuteronomy 22:10 Do not do your ploughing with an ox and an ass yoked together.
Deuteronomium 22:11 Du sollst nicht anziehen ein gemengtes Kleid, von Wolle und Leinen zugleich.	Deuteronomy 22:11 Do not have clothing made of two sorts of thread, wool and linen together.
Deuteronomium 22:12 Du sollst dir Quasten machen an den Zipfeln deines Mantels mit dem du dich bedeckst.	Deuteronomy 22:12 On the four edges of your robe, with which your body is covered, put ornaments of twisted threads.
Deuteronomium 22:13 Wenn jemand ein Weib nimmt und wird ihr gram, wenn er zu ihr gegangen ist,	Deuteronomy 22:13 If any man takes a wife, and having had connection with her, has no delight in her,
Deuteronomium 22:14 und legt ihr etwas Schändliches auf und bringt ein böses Geschrei über sie aus und spricht: Das Weib habe ich genommen, und da ich mich zu ihr tat, fand ich sie nicht Jungfrau,	Deuteronomy 22:14 And says evil things about her and gives her a bad name, saying, I took this woman, and when I had connection with her it was clear to me that she was not a virgin:
Deuteronomium 22:15 so sollen Vater und Mutter der Dirne sie nehmen und vor die Ältesten der Stadt in dem Tor hervorbringen der Dirne Jungfrauschaft.	Deuteronomy 22:15 Then let the girl's father and mother put before the responsible men of the town, in the public place, signs that the girl was a virgin:
Deuteronomium 22:16 Und der Dirne Vater soll sagen: Ich habe diesem Mann meine Tochter zum Weibe gegeben; nun ist er ihr gram geworden	Deuteronomy 22:16 And let the girl's father say to the responsible men, I gave my daughter to this man for his wife, but he has no love for her;
Deuteronomium 22:17 und legt ein schändlich Ding auf sie und spricht: Ich habe deine Tochter nicht Jungfrau gefunden; hier ist die Jungfrauschaft meiner Tochter. Und sollen das Kleid vor den Ältesten der Stadt ausbreiten.	Deuteronomy 22:17 And now he has put shame on her, saying that she is not a virgin; but here is the sign that she is a virgin. Then they are to put her clothing before the responsible men of the town.
Deuteronomium 22:18 So sollen die Ältesten der Stadt den Mann nehmen und züchtigen	Deuteronomy 22:18 Then the responsible men of the town are to give the man his punishment;
Deuteronomium 22:19 und um hundert Silberlinge büßen und dieselben der Dirne Vater geben, darum daß er eine Jungfrau in Israel berüchtigt hat; und er soll sie zum Weibe haben, daß er sie sein Leben lang nicht lassen möge.	Deuteronomy 22:19 They will take from him a hundred shekels of silver, which are to be given to the father of the girl, because he has given an evil name to a virgin of Israel: she will go on being his wife, he may never put her away all his life.
Deuteronomium 22:20 Ist's aber Wahrheit, daß die Dirne nicht ist Jungfrau gefunden,	Deuteronomy 22:20 But if what he has said is true, and she is seen to be not a virgin,
Deuteronomium 22:21 so soll man sie heraus vor die Tür ihres Vaters Hauses führen, und die Leute der Stadt sollen sie zu Tode steinigen, darum daß sie eine Torheit in Israel begangen und in ihres Vaters Hause gehurt hat; und sollst das Böse von dir tun.	Deuteronomy 22:21 Then they are to make the girl come to the door of her father's house and she will be stoned to death by the men of the town, because she has done evil and put shame on Israel, by acting as a loose woman in her father's house: so you are to put away evil from among you.
Deuteronomium 22:22 Wenn jemand gefunden wird, der bei einem Weibe schläft, die einen Ehemann hat, so sollen sie beide sterben, der Mann und das Weib, bei dem er geschlafen hat; und sollst das Böse von Israel tun.	Deuteronomy 22:22 If a man is taken in the act of going in to a married woman, the two of them, the man as well as the woman, are to be put to death: so you are to put away the evil from Israel.
Deuteronomium 22:23 Wenn eine Dirne jemand verlobt ist, und ein Mann kriegt sie in der Stadt und schläft bei ihr,	Deuteronomy 22:23 If a young virgin has given her word to be married to a man, and another man meeting her in the town, has connection with her;
Deuteronomium 22:24 so sollt ihr sie alle beide zu der Stadt Tor ausführen und sollt sie steinigen, daß sie sterben; die Dirne darum, daß sie nicht geschrieen hat, da sie doch in der Stadt war; den Mann darum, daß er seines Nächsten Weib geschändet hat; und sollst das Böse von dir tun.	Deuteronomy 22:24 Then you are to take the two of them to the doorway of the town, and have them stoned to death; the young virgin, because she gave no cry for help, though it was in the town, and the man, because he has put shame on his neighbour's wife: so you are to put away evil from among you.
Deuteronomium 22:25 Wenn aber jemand eine verlobte Dirne auf dem Felde kriegt und ergreift sie und schläft bei ihr, so soll der Mann allein sterben, der bei ihr geschlafen hat,	Deuteronomy 22:25 But if the man, meeting such a virgin in the open country, takes her by force, then only the man is to be put to death;
Deuteronomium 22:26 und der Dirne sollst du nichts tun; denn sie hat keine Sünde des Todes wert getan, sondern gleich wie jemand sich wider seinen Nächsten erhöbe und schlüge ihn tot, so ist dies auch.	Deuteronomy 22:26 Nothing is to be done to the virgin, because there is no cause of death in her: it is the same as if a man made an attack on his neighbour and put him to death:
Deuteronomium 22:27 Denn er fand sie auf dem Felde, und die verlobte Dirne schrie, und war niemand, der ihr half.	Deuteronomy 22:27 For he came across her in the open country, and there was no one to come to the help of the virgin in answer to her cry.
Deuteronomium 22:28 Wenn jemand an eine Jungfrau kommt, die nicht verlobt ist, und ergreift sie und schläft bei ihr, und es findet sich also,	Deuteronomy 22:28 If a man sees a young virgin, who has not given her word to be married to anyone, and he takes her by force and has connection with her, and discovery is made of it;
Deuteronomium 22:29 so soll, der bei ihr geschlafen hat, ihrem Vater fünfzig Silberlinge geben und soll sie zum Weibe haben, darum daß er sie geschwächt hat; er kann sie nicht lassen sein Leben lang.	Deuteronomy 22:29 Then the man will have to give the virgin's father fifty shekels of silver and make her his wife, because he has put shame on her; he may never put her away all his life.
Deuteronomium 22:30 Niemand soll seines Vaters Weib nehmen und nicht aufdecken seines Vaters Decke.	Deuteronomy 22:30 A man may not take his father's wife or have sex relations with a woman who is his father's.
