Deuteronomium 6:1 Dies sind aber die Gesetze und Gebote und Rechte, die euch der HERR, euer Gott, geboten hat, daß ihr sie lernen und tun sollt in dem Lande, dahin ihr ziehet, es einzunehmen,	Deuteronomy 6:1 Now these are the orders and the laws and the decisions which the Lord your God gave me for your teaching, so that you might do them in the land of your heritage to which you are going:
Deuteronomium 6:2 daß du den HERRN, deinen Gott, fürchtest und haltest alle seine Rechte und Gebote, die ich dir gebiete, du und deine Kinder und deine Kindeskinder, alle eure Lebtage, auf daß ihr lange lebt.	Deuteronomy 6:2 So that living in the fear of the Lord your God, you may keep all his laws and his orders, which I give you: you and your son and your son's son, all the days of your life; and so that your life may be long.
Deuteronomium 6:3 Israel, du sollst hören und behalten, daß du es tust, daß dir's wohl gehe und du sehr vermehrt werdest, wie der HERR, deiner Väter Gott, dir verheißen hat ein Land, darin Milch und Honig fließt.	Deuteronomy 6:3 So give ear, O Israel, and take care to do this; so that it may be well for you, and you may be greatly increased, as the Lord the God of your fathers has given you his word, in a land flowing with milk and honey.
Deuteronomium 6:4 Höre, Israel, der HERR, unser Gott, ist ein einiger HERR.	Deuteronomy 6:4 Give ear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord:
Deuteronomium 6:5 Und du sollst den HERRN, deinen Gott, liebhaben von ganzem Herzen, von ganzer Seele, von allem Vermögen.	Deuteronomy 6:5 And the Lord your God is to be loved with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Deuteronomium 6:6 Und diese Worte, die ich dir heute gebiete, sollst du zu Herzen nehmen	Deuteronomy 6:6 Keep these words, which I say to you this day, deep in your hearts;
Deuteronomium 6:7 und sollst sie deinen Kindern einschärfen und davon reden, wenn du in deinem Hause sitzest oder auf dem Wege gehst, wenn du dich niederlegst oder aufstehst,	Deuteronomy 6:7 Teaching them to your children with all care, talking of them when you are at rest in your house or walking by the way, when you go to sleep and when you get up.
Deuteronomium 6:8 und sollst sie binden zum Zeichen auf deine Hand, und sollen dir ein Denkmal vor deinen Augen sein,	Deuteronomy 6:8 Let them be fixed as a sign on your hand, and marked on your brow;
Deuteronomium 6:9 und sollst sie über deines Hauses Pfosten schreiben und an die Tore.	Deuteronomy 6:9 Have them lettered on the pillars of your houses and over the doors of your towns.
Deuteronomium 6:10 Wenn dich nun der HERR, dein Gott, in das Land bringen wird, das er deinen Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen hat dir zu geben, große und feine Städte, die du nicht gebaut hast,	Deuteronomy 6:10 And when the Lord your God has taken you into the land which he gave his oath to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, that he would give you; with great and fair towns which were not of your building;
Deuteronomium 6:11 und Häuser, alles Guts voll, die du nicht gefüllt hast und ausgehauene Brunnen, die du nicht ausgehauen hast, und Weinberge und Ölberge, die du nicht gepflanzt hast, daß du essest und satt werdest;	Deuteronomy 6:11 And houses full of good things not stored up by you, and places for storing water which you did not make, and vine-gardens and olive-trees not of your planting; and you have taken food and are full;
Deuteronomium 6:12 so hüte dich, daß du nicht des HERRN vergessest, der dich aus Ägyptenland, aus dem Diensthaus, geführt hat;	Deuteronomy 6:12 Then take care that you keep your hearts true to the Lord, who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the prison-house.
Deuteronomium 6:13 sondern du den HERRN, deinen Gott, fürchten und ihm dienen und bei seinem Namen schwören.	Deuteronomy 6:13 Let the fear of the Lord your God be in your hearts, and be his servants, taking your oaths by his name.
Deuteronomium 6:14 Und sollst nicht andern Göttern nachfolgen der Völker, die um euch her sind	Deuteronomy 6:14 Do not go after other gods, the gods of the peoples round about you;
Deuteronomium 6:15 denn der HERR, dein Gott, ist ein eifriger Gott unter dir, daß nicht der Zorn des HERRN, deines Gottes, über dich ergrimme und vertilge dich von der Erde.	Deuteronomy 6:15 For the Lord your God who is with you is a God who will not let his honour be given to another; or the wrath of the Lord will be burning against you, causing your destruction from the face of the earth.
Deuteronomium 6:16 Ihr sollt den HERRN, euren Gott, nicht versuchen, wie ihr ihn versuchtet zu Massa,	Deuteronomy 6:16 Do not put the Lord your God to the test as you did in Massah.
Deuteronomium 6:17 sondern sollt halten die Gebote des HERRN, eures Gottes, und seine Zeugnisse und Rechte, die er geboten hat,	Deuteronomy 6:17 Keep with care the orders of the Lord your God, and his rules and his laws which he has given you;
Deuteronomium 6:18 daß du tust, was recht und gut ist vor den Augen des HERRN, auf daß dir's wohl gehe und du hineinkommest und einnehmest das gute Land, das der HERR geschworen hat deinen Vätern,	Deuteronomy 6:18 And do what is upright and good in the eyes of the Lord your God, so that it may be well for you and you may go in and take for your heritage that good land from which the Lord undertook by an oath to your fathers,
Deuteronomium 6:19 daß er verjage alle deine Feinde vor dir, wie der HERR geredet hat.	Deuteronomy 6:19 To send out from before you all those who are against you.
Deuteronomium 6:20 Wenn dich aber dein Sohn heute oder morgen fragen wird und sagen: Was sind das für Zeugnisse, Gebote und Rechte, die euch der HERR, unser Gott, geboten hat?	Deuteronomy 6:20 And when your son says to you in time to come, What is the reason for these rules and laws and decisions which the Lord our God has given you?
Deuteronomium 6:21 so sollst du deinem Sohn sagen: Wir waren Knechte des Pharao in Ägypten, und der HERR führte uns aus Ägypten mit mächtiger Hand,	Deuteronomy 6:21 Then you will say to your son, We were servants under Pharaoh's yoke in Egypt; and the Lord took us out of Egypt with a strong hand:
Deuteronomium 6:22 und der HERR tat große und böse Zeichen und Wunder an Ägypten und Pharao und allem seinem Hause vor unsern Augen	Deuteronomy 6:22 And the Lord did great signs and wonders against Egypt, and against Pharaoh and all his house, before our eyes:
Deuteronomium 6:23 und führte uns von dannen, auf daß er uns einführte und gäbe uns das Land, das er unsern Vätern geschworen hatte;	Deuteronomy 6:23 And he took us out from that place, guiding us here to give us this land, as he said in his oath to our fathers.
Deuteronomium 6:24 und der HERR hat uns geboten, zu tun nach allen diesen Rechten, daß wir den HERRN, unsern Gott, fürchten, auf daß es uns wohl gehe alle unsre Lebtage, wie es geht heutigestages;	Deuteronomy 6:24 And the Lord gave us orders to keep all these laws, in the fear of the Lord our God, so that it might be well for us for ever, and that he might keep us from death, as he has done to this day.
Deuteronomium 6:25 und es wird unsre Gerechtigkeit sein vor dem HERRN, unserm Gott, so wir tun und halten alle diese Gebote, wie er uns geboten hat.	Deuteronomy 6:25 And it will be our righteousness if we take care to keep all this order before the Lord our God as he has given it to us.
