Epheser 2:1 Und auch euch, da ihr tot waret durch Übertretungen und Sünden,	Ephesians 2:1 And to you did he give life, when you were dead through your wrongdoing and sins,
Epheser 2:2 in welchen ihr weiland gewandelt habt nach dem Lauf dieser Welt und nach dem Fürsten, der in der Luft herrscht, nämlich nach dem Geist, der zu dieser Zeit sein Werk hat in den Kindern des Unglaubens,	Ephesians 2:2 In which you were living in the past, after the ways of this present world, doing the pleasure of the lord of the power of the air, the spirit who is now working in those who go against the purpose of God;
Epheser 2:3 unter welchen auch wir alle weiland unsern Wandel gehabt haben in den Lüsten unsers Fleisches und taten den Willen des Fleisches und der Vernunft und waren auch Kinder des Zorns von Natur, gleichwie auch die andern;	Ephesians 2:3 Among whom we all at one time were living in the pleasures of our flesh, giving way to the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and the punishment of God was waiting for us even as for the rest.
Epheser 2:4 Aber Gott, der da reich ist an Barmherzigkeit, durch seine große Liebe, damit er uns geliebt hat,	Ephesians 2:4 But God, being full of mercy, through the great love which he had for us,
Epheser 2:5 da wir tot waren in den Sünden, hat er uns samt Christo lebendig gemacht	Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead through our sins, gave us life together with Christ (by grace you have salvation),
Epheser 2:6 und hat uns samt ihm auferweckt und samt ihm in das himmlische Wesen gesetzt in Christo Jesu,	Ephesians 2:6 So that we came back from death with him, and are seated with him in the heavens, in Christ Jesus;
Epheser 2:7 auf daß er erzeigte in den zukünftigen Zeiten den überschwenglichen Reichtum seiner Gnade durch seine Güte gegen uns in Christo Jesu.	Ephesians 2:7 That in the time to come he might make clear the full wealth of his grace in his mercy to us in Christ Jesus:
Epheser 2:8 Denn aus Gnade seid ihr selig geworden durch den Glauben, und das nicht aus euch: Gottes Gabe ist es,	Ephesians 2:8 Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God:
Epheser 2:9 nicht aus den Werken, auf daß sich nicht jemand rühme.	Ephesians 2:9 Not by works, so that no man may take glory to himself.
Epheser 2:10 Denn wir sind sein Werk, geschaffen in Christo Jesu zu guten Werken, zu welchen Gott uns zuvor bereitet hat, daß wir darin wandeln sollen.	Ephesians 2:10 For by his act we were given existence in Christ Jesus to do those good works which God before made ready for us so that we might do them.
Epheser 2:11 Darum gedenket daran, daß ihr, die ihr weiland nach dem Fleisch Heiden gewesen seid und die Unbeschnittenen genannt wurdet von denen, die genannt sind die Beschneidung nach dem Fleisch, die mit der Hand geschieht,	Ephesians 2:11 For this reason keep it in mind that in the past you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are looked on as being outside the circumcision by those who have circumcision, in the flesh, made by hands;
Epheser 2:12 daß ihr zur selben Zeit waret ohne Christum, fremd und außer der Bürgerschaft Israels und fremd den Testamenten der Verheißung; daher ihr keine Hoffnung hattet und waret ohne Gott in der Welt.	Ephesians 2:12 That you were at that time without Christ, being cut off from any part in Israel's rights as a nation, having no part in God's agreement, having no hope, and without God in the world.
Epheser 2:13 Nun aber seid ihr, die ihr in Christo Jesu seid und weiland ferne gewesen, nahe geworden durch das Blut Christi.	Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who at one time were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
Epheser 2:14 Denn er ist unser Friede, der aus beiden eines hat gemacht und hat abgebrochen den Zaun, der dazwischen war, indem er durch sein Fleisch wegnahm die Feindschaft,	Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who has made the two into one, and by whom the middle wall of division has been broken down,
Epheser 2:15 nämlich das Gesetz, so in Geboten gestellt war, auf daß er aus zweien einen neuen Menschen in ihm selber schüfe und Frieden machte,	Ephesians 2:15 Having in his flesh put an end to that which made the division between us, even the law with its rules and orders, so that he might make in himself, of the two, one new man, so making peace;
Epheser 2:16 und daß er beide versöhnte mit Gott in einem Leibe durch das Kreuz und hat die Feindschaft getötet durch sich selbst.	Ephesians 2:16 And that the two might come into agreement with God in one body through the cross, so putting an end to that division.
Epheser 2:17 Und er ist gekommen, hat verkündigt im Evangelium den Frieden euch, die ihr ferne waret, und denen, die nahe waren;	Ephesians 2:17 And he came preaching peace to you who were far off, and to those who were near;
Epheser 2:18 denn durch ihn haben wir den Zugang alle beide in einem Geiste zum Vater.	Ephesians 2:18 Because through him the two of us are able to come near in one Spirit to the Father.
Epheser 2:19 So seid ihr nun nicht mehr Gäste und Fremdlinge, sondern Bürger mit den Heiligen und Gottes Hausgenossen,	Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer as those who have no part or place in the kingdom of God, but you are numbered among the saints, and of the family of God,
Epheser 2:20 erbaut auf den Grund der Apostel und Propheten, da Jesus Christus der Eckstein ist,	Ephesians 2:20 Resting on the base of the Apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief keystone,
Epheser 2:21 auf welchem der ganze Bau ineinandergefügt wächst zu einem heiligen Tempel in dem HERRN,	Ephesians 2:21 In whom all the building, rightly joined together, comes to be a holy house of God in the Lord;
Epheser 2:22 auf welchem auch ihr mit erbaut werdet zu einer Behausung Gottes im Geist.	Ephesians 2:22 In whom you, with the rest, are united together as a living-place of God in the Spirit.
