Galater 5:1 So bestehet nun in der Freiheit, zu der uns Christus befreit hat, und lasset euch nicht wiederum in das knechtische Joch fangen.	Galatians 5:1 Christ has truly made us free: then keep your free condition and let no man put a yoke on you again.
Galater 5:2 Siehe, ich, Paulus, sage euch: Wo ihr euch beschneiden lasset, so nützt euch Christus nichts.	Galatians 5:2 See, I Paul say to you, that if you undergo circumcision, Christ will be of no use to you.
Galater 5:3 Ich bezeuge abermals einem jeden, der sich beschneiden läßt, daß er das ganze Gesetz schuldig ist zu tun.	Galatians 5:3 Yes, I give witness again to every man who undergoes circumcision, that he will have to keep all the law.
Galater 5:4 Ihr habt Christum verloren, die ihr durch das Gesetz gerecht werden wollt, und seid von der Gnade gefallen.	Galatians 5:4 You are cut off from Christ, you who would have righteousness by the law; you are turned away from grace.
Galater 5:5 Wir aber warten im Geist durch den Glauben der Gerechtigkeit, auf die man hoffen muß.	Galatians 5:5 For we through the Spirit by faith are waiting for the hope of righteousness.
Galater 5:6 Denn in Christo Jesu gilt weder Beschneidung noch unbeschnitten sein etwas, sondern der Glaube, der durch die Liebe tätig ist.	Galatians 5:6 Because in Christ Jesus, having circumcision or not having circumcision are equally of no profit; but only faith working through love.
Galater 5:7 Ihr liefet fein. Wer hat euch aufgehalten, der Wahrheit nicht zu gehorchen?	Galatians 5:7 You were going on well; who was the cause of your not giving ear to what is true?
Galater 5:8 Solch Überreden ist nicht von dem, der euch berufen hat.	Galatians 5:8 This ready belief did not come from him who had made you his.
Galater 5:9 Ein wenig Sauerteig versäuert den ganzen Teig.	Galatians 5:9 A little leaven makes a change in all the mass.
Galater 5:10 Ich versehe mich zu euch in dem HERRN, ihr werdet nicht anders gesinnt sein. Wer euch aber irremacht, der wird sein Urteil tragen, er sei, wer er wolle.	Galatians 5:10 I am certain about you in the Lord, that you will be of no other mind; but he who is troubling you will have his punishment, whoever he is.
Galater 5:11 Ich aber, liebe Brüder, so ich die Beschneidung noch predige, warum leide ich denn Verfolgung? So hätte ja das Ärgernis des Kreuzes aufgehört.	Galatians 5:11 But I, brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still attacked? then has the shame of the cross been taken away.
Galater 5:12 Wollte Gott, daß sie auch ausgerottet würden, die euch verstören!	Galatians 5:12 My desire is that they who give you trouble might even be cut off themselves.
Galater 5:13 Ihr aber, liebe Brüder, seid zur Freiheit berufen! Allein sehet zu, daß ihr durch die Freiheit dem Fleisch nicht Raum gebet; sondern durch die Liebe diene einer dem andern.	Galatians 5:13 Because you, brothers, were marked out to be free; only do not make use of your free condition to give the flesh its chance, but through love be servants one to another.
Galater 5:14 Denn alle Gesetze werden in einem Wort erfüllt, in dem: "Liebe deinen Nächsten wie dich selbst."	Galatians 5:14 For all the law is made complete in one word, even in this, Have love for your neighbour as for yourself.
Galater 5:15 So ihr euch aber untereinander beißet und fresset, so seht zu, daß ihr nicht untereinander verzehrt werdet.	Galatians 5:15 But if you are given to fighting with one another, take care that you are not the cause of destruction one to another.
Galater 5:16 Ich sage aber: Wandelt im Geist, so werdet ihr die Lüste des Fleisches nicht vollbringen.	Galatians 5:16 But I say, Go on in the Spirit, and you will not come under the rule of the evil desires of the flesh.
Galater 5:17 Denn das Fleisch gelüstet wider den Geist, und der Geist wider das Fleisch; dieselben sind widereinander, daß ihr nicht tut, was ihr wollt.	Galatians 5:17 For the flesh has desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; because these are opposite the one to the other; so that you may not do the things which you have a mind to do.
Galater 5:18 Regiert euch aber der Geist, so seid ihr nicht unter dem Gesetz.	Galatians 5:18 But if you are guided by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Galater 5:19 Offenbar sind aber die Werke des Fleisches, als da sind: Ehebruch, Hurerei, Unreinigkeit, Unzucht,	Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are clear, which are these: evil desire, unclean things, wrong use of the senses,
Galater 5:20 Abgötterei, Zauberei, Feindschaft, Hader, Neid, Zorn, Zank, Zwietracht, Rotten, Haß, Mord,	Galatians 5:20 Worship of images, use of strange powers, hates, fighting, desire for what another has, angry feelings, attempts to get the better of others, divisions, false teachings,
Galater 5:21 Saufen, Fressen und dergleichen, von welchen ich euch zuvor gesagt und sage noch zuvor, daß, die solches tun, werden das Reich Gottes nicht erben.	Galatians 5:21 Envy, uncontrolled drinking and feasting, and such things: of which I give you word clearly, even as I did in the past, that they who do such things will have no part in the kingdom of God.
Galater 5:22 Die Frucht aber des Geistes ist Liebe, Freude, Friede, Geduld, Freundlichkeit, Gütigkeit, Glaube, Sanftmut, Keuschheit.	Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, a quiet mind, kind acts, well-doing, faith,
Galater 5:23 Wider solche ist das Gesetz nicht.	Galatians 5:23 Gentle behaviour, control over desires: against such there is no law.
Galater 5:24 Welche aber Christo angehören, die kreuzigen ihr Fleisch samt den Lüsten und Begierden.	Galatians 5:24 And those who are Christ's have put to death on the cross the flesh with its passions and its evil desires.
Galater 5:25 So wir im Geist leben, so lasset uns auch im Geist wandeln.	Galatians 5:25 If we are living by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us be guided.
Galater 5:26 Lasset uns nicht eitler Ehre geizig sein, einander zu entrüsten und zu hassen.	Galatians 5:26 Let us not be full of self-glory, making one another angry, having envy of one another.
