Hiob 37:1 Des entsetzt sich mein Herz und bebt.	Job 37:1 At this my heart is shaking; it is moved out of its place.
Hiob 37:2 O höret doch, wie der Donner zürnt, und was für Gespräch von seinem Munde ausgeht!	Job 37:2 Give ear to the rolling noise of his voice; to the hollow sound which goes out of his mouth.
Hiob 37:3 Er läßt ihn hinfahren unter allen Himmeln, und sein Blitz scheint auf die Enden der Erde.	Job 37:3 He sends it out through all the heaven, and his thunder-flame to the ends of the earth.
Hiob 37:4 Ihm nach brüllt der Donner, und er donnert mit seinem großen Schall; und wenn sein Donner gehört wird, kann man's nicht aufhalten.	Job 37:4 After it a voice is sounding, thundering out the word of his power; he does not keep back his thunder-flames; from his mouth his voice is sounding.
Hiob 37:5 Gott donnert mit seinem Donner wunderbar und tut große Dinge und wird doch nicht erkannt.	Job 37:5 He does wonders, more than may be searched out; great things of which we have no knowledge;
Hiob 37:6 Er spricht zum Schnee, so ist er bald auf Erden, und zum Platzregen, so ist der Platzregen da mit Macht.	Job 37:6 For he says to the snow, Make the earth wet; and to the rain-storm, Come down.
Hiob 37:7 Aller Menschen Hand hält er verschlossen, daß die Leute lernen, was er tun kann.	Job 37:7 He puts an end to the work of every man, so that all may see his work.
Hiob 37:8 Das wilde Tier geht in seine Höhle und bleibt an seinem Ort.	Job 37:8 Then the beasts go into their holes, and take their rest.
Hiob 37:9 Von Mittag her kommt Wetter und von Mitternacht Kälte.	Job 37:9 Out of its place comes the storm-wind, and the cold out of its store-houses.
Hiob 37:10 Vom Odem Gottes kommt Frost, und große Wasser ziehen sich eng zusammen.	Job 37:10 By the breath of God ice is made, and the wide waters are shut in.
Hiob 37:11 Die Wolken beschwert er mit Wasser, und durch das Gewölk bricht sein Licht.	Job 37:11 The thick cloud is weighted with thunder-flame, and the cloud sends out its light;
Hiob 37:12 Er kehrt die Wolken, wo er hin will, daß sie schaffen alles, was er ihnen gebeut, auf dem Erdboden:	Job 37:12 And it goes this way and that, round about, turning itself by his guiding, to do whatever he gives orders to be done, on the face of his world of men,
Hiob 37:13 es sei zur Züchtigung über ein Land oder zur Gnade, läßt er sie kommen.	Job 37:13 For a rod, or for a curse, or for mercy, causing it to come on the mark.
Hiob 37:14 Da merke auf, Hiob, stehe und vernimm die Wunder Gottes!	Job 37:14 Give ear to this, O Job, and keep quiet in your place; and take note of the wonders worked by God.
Hiob 37:15 Weißt du wie Gott solches über sie bringt und wie er das Licht aus seinen Wolken läßt hervorbrechen?	Job 37:15 Have you knowledge of God's ordering of his works, how he makes the light of his cloud to be seen?
Hiob 37:16 Weißt du wie sich die Wolken ausstreuen, die Wunder des, der vollkommen ist an Wissen?	Job 37:16 Have you knowledge of the balancings of the clouds, the wonders of him who has all wisdom?
Hiob 37:17 Du, des Kleider warm sind, wenn das Land still ist vom Mittagswinde,	Job 37:17 You, whose clothing is warm, when the earth is quiet because of the south wind,
Hiob 37:18 ja, du wirst mit ihm den Himmel ausbreiten, der fest ist wie ein gegossener Spiegel.	Job 37:18 Will you, with him, make the skies smooth, and strong as a polished looking-glass?
Hiob 37:19 Zeige uns, was wir ihm sagen sollen; denn wir können nichts vorbringen vor Finsternis.	Job 37:19 Make clear to me what we are to say to him; we are unable to put our cause before him, because of the dark.
Hiob 37:20 Wer wird ihm erzählen, daß ich wolle reden? So jemand redet, der wird verschlungen.	Job 37:20 How may he have knowledge of my desire for talk with him? or did any man ever say, May destruction come on me?
Hiob 37:21 Jetzt sieht man das Licht nicht, das am Himmel hell leuchtet; wenn aber der Wind weht, so wird's klar.	Job 37:21 And now the light is not seen, for it is dark because of the clouds; but a wind comes, clearing them away.
Hiob 37:22 Von Mitternacht kommt Gold; um Gott her ist schrecklicher Glanz.	Job 37:22 A bright light comes out of the north; God's glory is greatly to be feared.
Hiob 37:23 Den Allmächtigen aber können wir nicht finden, der so groß ist von Kraft; das Recht und eine gute Sache beugt er nicht.	Job 37:23 There is no searching out of the Ruler of all: his strength and his judging are great; he is full of righteousness, doing no wrong.
Hiob 37:24 Darum müssen ihn fürchten die Leute; und er sieht keinen an, wie weise sie sind.	Job 37:24 For this cause men go in fear of him; he has no respect for any who are wise in heart.
