Jesaja 1:1 Dies ist die Geschichte Jesaja's, des Sohnes des Amoz, welches er sah von Juda und Jerusalem zur Zeit Usias, Jothams, des Ahas und Hiskia, der Könige Juda's.	Isaiah 1:1 The vision of Isaiah, the son of Amoz, which he saw about Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
Jesaja 1:2 Höret, ihr Himmel! und Erde, nimm zu Ohren! denn der HERR redet: Ich habe Kinder auferzogen und erhöht, und sie sind von mir abgefallen.	Isaiah 1:2 Give ear, O heavens, and you, O earth, to the word which the Lord has said: I have taken care of my children till they became men, but their hearts have been turned away from me.
Jesaja 1:3 Ein Ochse kennt seinen Herrn und ein Esel die Krippe seines Herrn; aber Israel kennt's nicht, und mein Volk vernimmt's nicht.	Isaiah 1:3 Even the ox has knowledge of its owner, and the ass of the place where its master puts its food: but Israel has no knowledge, my people give no thought to me.
Jesaja 1:4 O weh des sündigen Volks, des Volks von großer Missetat, des boshaften Samens, der verderbten Kinder, die den HERRN verlassen, den Heiligen in Israel lästern, zurückweichen!	Isaiah 1:4 O nation full of sin, a people weighted down with crime, a generation of evil-doers, false-hearted children: they have gone away from the Lord, they have no respect for the Holy One of Israel, their hearts are turned back from him.
Jesaja 1:5 Was soll man weiter euch schlagen, so ihr des Abweichens nur desto mehr macht? Das ganze Haupt ist krank, das ganze Herz ist matt.	Isaiah 1:5 Why will you have more and more punishment? why keep on in your evil ways? Every head is tired and every heart is feeble.
Jesaja 1:6 Von der Fußsohle bis aufs Haupt ist nichts Gesundes an ihm, sondern Wunden und Striemen und Eiterbeulen, die nicht geheftet noch verbunden noch mit Öl gelindert sind.	Isaiah 1:6 The body, from head to foot, is all diseased; it is a mass of open wounds, marks of blows, and broken flesh: the flow of blood has not been stopped, and no oil has been put on the wounds.
Jesaja 1:7 Euer Land ist wüst, eure Städte sind mit Feuer verbrannt; Fremde verzehren eure Äcker vor euren Augen, und es ist wüst wie das, so durch Fremde verheert ist.	Isaiah 1:7 Your country has become waste; your towns are burned with fire; as for your land, it is overturned before your eyes, made waste and overcome by men from strange lands.
Jesaja 1:8 Was noch übrig ist von der Tochter Zion, ist wie ein Häuslein im Weinberge, wie die Nachthütte in den Kürbisgärten, wie eine verheerte Stadt.	Isaiah 1:8 And the daughter of Zion has become like a tent in a vine-garden, like a watchman's house in a field of fruit, like a town shut in by armies.
Jesaja 1:9 Wenn uns der HERR Zebaoth nicht ein weniges ließe übrigbleiben, so wären wir wie Sodom und gleich wie Gomorra.	Isaiah 1:9 If the Lord of armies had not kept some at least of us safe, we would have been like Sodom, and the fate of Gomorrah would have been ours.
Jesaja 1:10 Höret des HERRN Wort, ihr Fürsten von Sodom! Nimm zu Ohren unsers Gottes Gesetz, du Volk von Gomorra!	Isaiah 1:10 Give ear to the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; let your hearts be turned to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.
Jesaja 1:11 Was soll mir die Menge eurer Opfer? spricht der HERR. Ich bin satt der Brandopfer von Widdern und des Fetten von den Gemästeten und habe keine Lust zum Blut der Farren, der Lämmer und Böcke.	Isaiah 1:11 What use to me is the number of the offerings which you give me? says the Lord; your burned offerings of sheep, and the best parts of fat cattle, are a weariness to me; I take no pleasure in the blood of oxen, or of lambs, or of he-goats.
Jesaja 1:12 Wenn ihr hereinkommt, zu erscheinen vor mir, wer fordert solches von euren Händen, daß ihr auf meinen Vorhof tretet?	Isaiah 1:12 At whose request do you come before me, making my house unclean with your feet?
Jesaja 1:13 Bringt nicht mehr Speisopfer so vergeblich! das Räuchwerk ist mir ein Greuel! Neumonde und Sabbate, da ihr zusammenkommt, Frevel und Festfeier mag ich nicht!	Isaiah 1:13 Give me no more false offerings; the smoke of burning flesh is disgusting to me, so are your new moons and Sabbaths and your holy meetings.
Jesaja 1:14 Meine Seele ist feind euren Neumonden und Jahrfesten; ich bin ihrer überdrüssig, ich bin's müde zu leiden.	Isaiah 1:14 Your new moons and your regular feasts are a grief to my soul: they are a weight in my spirit; I am crushed under them.
Jesaja 1:15 Und wenn ihr schon eure Hände ausbreitet, verberge ich doch meine Augen vor euch; und ob ihr schon viel betet, höre ich euch doch nicht; denn eure Hände sind voll Blut.	Isaiah 1:15 And when your hands are stretched out to me, my eyes will be turned away from you: even though you go on making prayers, I will not give ear: your hands are full of blood.
Jesaja 1:16 Waschet, reiniget euch, tut euer böses Wesen von meinen Augen, laßt ab vom Bösen;	Isaiah 1:16 Be washed, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; let there be an end of sinning;
Jesaja 1:17 lernet Gutes tun, trachtet nach Recht, helfet dem Unterdrückten, schaffet dem Waisen Recht, führet der Witwe Sache.	Isaiah 1:17 Take pleasure in well-doing; let your ways be upright, keep down the cruel, give a right decision for the child who has no father, see to the cause of the widow.
Jesaja 1:18 So kommt denn und laßt uns miteinander rechten, spricht der HERR. Wenn eure Sünde gleich blutrot ist, soll sie doch schneeweiß werden; und wenn sie gleich ist wie Scharlach, soll sie doch wie Wolle werden.	Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us have an argument together, says the Lord: how may your sins which are red like blood be white as snow? how may their dark purple seem like wool?
Jesaja 1:19 Wollt ihr mir gehorchen, so sollt ihr des Landes Gut genießen.	Isaiah 1:19 If you will give ear to my word and do it, the good things of the land will be yours;
Jesaja 1:20 Weigert ihr euch aber und seid ungehorsam, so sollt ihr vom Schwert gefressen werden; denn der Mund des HERRN sagt es.	Isaiah 1:20 But if your hearts are turned against me, I will send destruction on you by the sword; so the Lord has said.
Jesaja 1:21 Wie geht das zu, daß die fromme Stadt zur Hure geworden ist? Sie war voll Rechts, Gerechtigkeit wohnte darin, nun aber Mörder.	Isaiah 1:21 The upright town has become untrue; there was a time when her judges gave right decisions, when righteousness had a resting-place in her, but now she is full of those who take men's lives.
Jesaja 1:22 Dein Silber ist Schaum geworden und dein Getränk mit Wasser vermischt.	Isaiah 1:22 Your silver is no longer true metal, your wine is mixed with water.
Jesaja 1:23 Deine Fürsten sind Abtrünnige und Diebsgesellen; sie nehmen alle gern Geschenke und trachten nach Gaben; dem Waisen schaffen sie nicht Recht, und der Witwe Sache kommt nicht vor sie.	Isaiah 1:23 Your chiefs have gone against the Lord, they have become friends of thieves; every one of them is looking for profit and going after rewards; they do not give right decisions for the child who has no father, and they do not let the cause of the widow come before them.
Jesaja 1:24 Darum spricht der HERR HERR Zebaoth, der Mächtige in Israel: O weh! Ich werde mich trösten an meinen Feinden und mich rächen an meinen Widersachern;	Isaiah 1:24 For this reason the Lord, the Lord of armies, the Strong One of Israel, has said, I will put an end to my haters, and send punishment on those who are against me;
Jesaja 1:25 und muß meine Hand gegen dich kehren und deinen Schaum aufs lauterste ausfegen und all dein Blei ausscheiden	Isaiah 1:25 And my hand will again be on you, washing away what is unclean as with soap, and taking away all your false metal;
Jesaja 1:26 und dir wieder Richter geben, wie zuvor waren, und Ratsherren wie im Anfang. Alsdann wirst du eine Stadt der Gerechtigkeit und eine fromme Stadt heißen.	Isaiah 1:26 And I will give you judges again as at the first, and wise guides as in the past; then you will be named, The Town of Righteousness, the true town.
Jesaja 1:27 Zion muß durch Recht erlöst werden und ihre Gefangenen durch Gerechtigkeit,	Isaiah 1:27 Upright acts will be the price of Zion's forgiveness, and by righteousness will men be living there.
Jesaja 1:28 daß die Übertreter und Sünder miteinander zerbrochen werden, und die den HERRN verlassen, umkommen.	Isaiah 1:28 But a common destruction will overtake sinners and evil-doers together, and those who have gone away from the Lord will be cut off.
Jesaja 1:29 Denn sie müssen zu Schanden werden über den Eichen, daran ihr Lust habt, und schamrot werden über den Gärten, die ihr erwählt,	Isaiah 1:29 For you will be put to shame because of the trees of your desire, and because of the gardens of your pleasure.
Jesaja 1:30 wenn ihr sein werdet wie eine Eiche mit dürren Blättern und wie ein Garten ohne Wasser,	Isaiah 1:30 For you will be like a tree whose leaves have become dry, and like a garden without water.
Jesaja 1:31 wenn der Gewaltige wird sein wie Werg und sein Tun wie ein Funke und beides miteinander angezündet wird, daß niemand lösche.	Isaiah 1:31 And the strong will be as food for the fire, and his work as a flame; and they will be burned together, with no one to put out the fire.
