Jesaja 9:1 Doch es wird nicht dunkel bleiben über denen, die in Angst sind. Hat er zur vorigen Zeit gering gemacht das Land Sebulon und das Land Naphthali, so wird er es hernach zu Ehren bringen, den Weg am Meere, das Land jenseit des Jordans, der Heiden Galiläa.	Isaiah 9:1 In earlier times he made the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali of small value, but after that he gave it glory, by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the nations.
Jesaja 9:2 Das Volk das im Finstern wandelt, sieht ein großes Licht; und über die da wohnen im finstern Lande, scheint es hell.	Isaiah 9:2 The people who went in the dark have seen a great light, and for those who were living in the land of the deepest night, the light is shining.
Jesaja 9:3 Du machst des Volkes viel; du machst groß seine Freude. Vor dir wird man sich freuen, wie man sich freut in der Ernte, wie man fröhlich ist, wenn man Beute austeilt.	Isaiah 9:3 You have made them very glad, increasing their joy. They are glad before you as men are glad in the time of getting in the grain, or when they make division of the goods taken in war.
Jesaja 9:4 Denn du hast das Joch ihrer Last und die Rute ihrer Schulter und den Stecken ihres Treibers zerbrochen wie zur Zeit Midians.	Isaiah 9:4 For by your hand the yoke on his neck and the rod on his back, even the rod of his cruel master, have been broken, as in the day of Midian.
Jesaja 9:5 Denn alle Rüstung derer, die sich mit Ungestüm rüsten, und die blutigen Kleider werden verbrannt und mit Feuer verzehrt werden.	Isaiah 9:5 For every boot of the man of war with his sounding step, and the clothing rolled in blood, will be for burning, food for the fire.
Jesaja 9:6 Denn uns ist ein Kind geboren, ein Sohn ist uns gegeben, und die Herrschaft ist auf seiner Schulter; er heißt Wunderbar, Rat, Held, Ewig-Vater Friedefürst;	Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child has come, to us a son is given; and the government has been placed in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father for ever, Prince of Peace.
Jesaja 9:7 auf daß seine Herrschaft groß werde und des Friedens kein Ende auf dem Stuhl Davids und in seinem Königreich, daß er's zurichte und stärke mit Gericht und Gerechtigkeit von nun an bis in Ewigkeit. Solches wird tun der Eifer des HERRN Zebaoth.	Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his rule and of peace there will be no end, on the seat of David, and in his kingdom; to make it strong, supporting it with wise decision and righteousness, now and for ever. By the fixed purpose of the Lord of armies this will be done.
Jesaja 9:8 Der HERR hat sein Wort gesandt in Jakob, und es ist in Israel gefallen,	Isaiah 9:8 The Lord has sent a word to Jacob, and it has come on Israel;
Jesaja 9:9 daß alles Volk es innewerde, Ephraim und die Bürger zu Samaria, die da sagen in Hochmut und stolzem Sinn:	Isaiah 9:9 And all the people will have experience of it, even Ephraim and the men of Samaria, who say in the pride of their uplifted hearts,
Jesaja 9:10 Ziegelsteine sind gefallen, aber wir wollen's mit Werkstücken wieder bauen; man hat Maulbeerbäume abgehauen, so wollen wir Zedern an die Stelle setzen.	Isaiah 9:10 The bricks have come down, but we will put up buildings of cut stone in their place: the sycamores are cut down, but they will be changed to cedars.
Jesaja 9:11 Denn der HERR wird Rezins Kriegsvolk wider sie erhöhen und ihre Feinde zuhauf ausrotten:	Isaiah 9:11 For this cause the Lord has made strong the haters of Israel, driving them on to make war against him;
Jesaja 9:12 die Syrer vorneher und die Philister hintenzu, daß sie Israel fressen mit vollem Maul. In dem allem läßt sein Zorn noch nicht ab; seine Hand ist noch ausgereckt.	Isaiah 9:12 Aram on the east, and the Philistines on the west, who have come against Israel with open mouths. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Jesaja 9:13 So kehrt sich das Volk auch nicht zu dem, der es schlägt, und fragen nicht nach dem HERRN Zebaoth.	Isaiah 9:13 But the heart of the people was not turned to him who sent punishment on them, and they made no prayer to the Lord of armies.
Jesaja 9:14 Darum wird der HERR abhauen von Israel beide, Kopf und Schwanz, beide, Ast und Stumpf, auf einen Tag.	Isaiah 9:14 For this cause the Lord took away from Israel head and tail, high and low, in one day.
Jesaja 9:15 Die alten und vornehmen Leute sind der Kopf; die Propheten aber, so falsch lehren, sind der Schwanz.	Isaiah 9:15 The man who is honoured and responsible is the head, and the prophet who gives false teaching is the tail.
Jesaja 9:16 Denn die Leiter dieses Volks sind Verführer; und die sich leiten lassen, sind verloren.	Isaiah 9:16 For the guides of this people are the cause of their wandering from the right way, and those who are guided by them come to destruction.
Jesaja 9:17 Darum kann sich der HERR über die junge Mannschaft nicht freuen noch ihrer Waisen und Witwen erbarmen; denn sie sind allzumal Heuchler und böse, und aller Mund redet Torheit. In dem allem läßt sein Zorn noch nicht ab; seine Hand ist noch ausgereckt.	Isaiah 9:17 For this cause the Lord will have no pleasure in their young men, and no pity on their widows and the children without fathers: for they are all haters of God and evil-doers, and foolish words come from every mouth. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Jesaja 9:18 Denn das gottlose Wesen ist angezündet wie Feuer und verzehrt Dornen und Hecken und brennt wie im dicken Wald und gibt hohen Rauch.	Isaiah 9:18 For evil was burning like a fire; the blackberries and thorns were burned up; the thick woods took fire, rolling up in dark clouds of smoke.
Jesaja 9:19 Im Zorn des HERRN Zebaoth ist das Land verfinstert, daß das Volk ist wie Speise des Feuers; keiner schont des andern.	Isaiah 9:19 The land was dark with the wrath of the Lord of armies: the people were like those who take men's flesh for food.
Jesaja 9:20 Rauben sie zur Rechten, so leiden sie Hunger; essen sie zur Linken, so werden sie nicht satt. Ein jeglicher frißt das Fleisch seines Arms:	Isaiah 9:20 On the right a man was cutting off bits and was still in need; on the left a man took a meal but had not enough; no man had pity on his brother; every man was making a meal of the flesh of his neighbour.
Jesaja 9:21 Manasse den Ephraim, Ephraim den Manasse, und sie beide miteinander wider Juda. In dem allem läßt sein Zorn noch nicht ab, seine Hand ist noch ausgereckt.	Isaiah 9:21 Manasseh was making a meal of Ephraim, and Ephraim of Manasseh; and together they were attacking Judah. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
