Markus 1:1 Dies ist der Anfang des Evangeliums von Jesus Christus, dem Sohn Gottes,	Mark 1:1 The first words of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Markus 1:2 wie geschrieben steht in den Propheten: "Siehe, ich sende meinen Engel vor dir her, der da bereite deinen Weg vor dir."	Mark 1:2 Even as it is said in the book of Isaiah the prophet, See, I send my servant before your face, who will make ready your way;
Markus 1:3 "Es ist eine Stimme eines Predigers in der Wüste: Bereitet den Weg des HERRN, macht seine Steige richtig!"	Mark 1:3 The voice of one crying in the waste land, Make ready the way of the Lord, make his roads straight;
Markus 1:4 Johannes, der war in der Wüste, taufte und predigte von der Taufe der Buße zur Vergebung der Sünden.	Mark 1:4 John came, and gave baptism in the waste land, preaching baptism as a sign of forgiveness of sin for those whose hearts were changed.
Markus 1:5 Und es ging zu ihm hinaus das ganze jüdische Land und die von Jerusalem und ließen sich alle von ihm taufen im Jordan und bekannten ihre Sünden.	Mark 1:5 And there went out to him all the people of Judaea, and all those of Jerusalem, and they were given baptism by him in the river Jordan, saying that they were sinners.
Markus 1:6 Johannes aber war bekleidet mit Kamelhaaren und mit einem ledernen Gürtel um seine Lenden, und aß Heuschrecken und wilden Honig;	Mark 1:6 And John was clothed in camel's hair, with a leather band about him; and his food was locusts and honey.
Markus 1:7 und er predigte und sprach: Es kommt einer nach mir, der ist stärker denn ich, dem ich nicht genugsam bin, daß ich mich vor ihm bücke und die Riemen seiner Schuhe auflöse.	Mark 1:7 And he said to them all, There is one coming after me who is greater than I, whose shoes I am not good enough to undo.
Markus 1:8 Ich taufe euch mit Wasser; aber er wird euch mit dem Heiligen Geist taufen.	Mark 1:8 I have given you baptism with water, but he will give you baptism with the Holy Spirit.
Markus 1:9 Und es begab sich zu der Zeit, daß Jesus aus Galiläa von Nazareth kam und ließ sich taufen von Johannes im Jordan.	Mark 1:9 And it came about in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was given baptism by John in the Jordan.
Markus 1:10 Und alsbald stieg er aus dem Wasser und sah, daß sich der Himmel auftat, und den Geist gleich wie eine Taube herabkommen auf ihn.	Mark 1:10 And straight away, coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens broken open and the Spirit coming down on him as a dove:
Markus 1:11 Und da geschah eine Stimme vom Himmel: Du bist mein lieber Sohn, an dem ich Wohlgefallen habe.	Mark 1:11 And a voice came out of heaven, You are my dearly loved Son, with whom I am well pleased.
Markus 1:12 Und alsbald trieb ihn der Geist in die Wüste,	Mark 1:12 And straight away the Spirit sent him out into the waste land.
Markus 1:13 und er war allda in der Wüste Tage und ward versucht von dem Satan und war bei den Tieren, und die Engel dienten ihm.	Mark 1:13 And he was in the waste land for forty days, being tested by Satan; and he was with the beasts; and the angels took care of him.
Markus 1:14 Nachdem aber Johannes überantwortet war, kam Jesus nach Galiläa und predigte das Evangelium vom Reich Gottes	Mark 1:14 Now after John had been put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the good news of God,
Markus 1:15 und sprach: Die Zeit ist erfüllet, und das Reich Gottes ist herbeigekommen. Tut Buße und glaubt an das Evangelium!	Mark 1:15 And saying, The time has come, and the kingdom of God is near: let your hearts be turned from sin and have faith in the good news.
Markus 1:16 Da er aber am Galiläischen Meer ging, sah er Simon und Andreas, seinen Bruder, daß sie ihre Netze ins Meer warfen; denn sie waren Fischer.	Mark 1:16 And going by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon, and Andrew, the brother of Simon, putting a net into the sea: for they were fishermen.
Markus 1:17 Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Folget mir nach; ich will euch zu Menschenfischern machen!	Mark 1:17 And Jesus said to them, Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Markus 1:18 Alsobald verließen sie ihre Netze und folgten ihm nach.	Mark 1:18 And they went straight from their nets, and came after him.
Markus 1:19 Und da er von da ein wenig weiterging, sah er Jakobus, den Sohn des Zebedäus, und Johannes, seinen Bruder, daß sie die Netze im Schiff flickten; und alsbald rief er sie.	Mark 1:19 And going on a little farther, he saw James, the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were in their boat stitching up their nets.
Markus 1:20 Und sie ließen ihren Vater Zebedäus im Schiff mit den Tagelöhnern und folgten ihm nach.	Mark 1:20 And he said, Come after me: and they went away from their father Zebedee, who was in the boat with the servants, and came after him.
Markus 1:21 Und sie gingen gen Kapernaum; und alsbald am Sabbat ging er in die Schule und lehrte.	Mark 1:21 And they came to Capernaum; and on the Sabbath he went into the Synagogue and gave teaching.
Markus 1:22 Und sie entsetzten sich über seine Lehre; denn er lehrte gewaltig und nicht wie die Schriftgelehrten.	Mark 1:22 And they were full of wonder at his teaching, because he gave it as one having authority, and not like the scribes.
Markus 1:23 Und es war in ihrer Schule ein Mensch, besessen von einem unsauberen Geist, der schrie	Mark 1:23 And there was in their Synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he gave a cry,
Markus 1:24 und sprach: Halt, was haben wir mit dir zu schaffen, Jesus von Nazareth? Du bist gekommen, uns zu verderben. Ich weiß wer du bist: der Heilige Gottes.	Mark 1:24 Saying, What have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? have you come to put an end to us? I see well who you are, the Holy One of God.
Markus 1:25 Und Jesus bedrohte ihn und sprach: Verstumme und fahre aus von ihm!	Mark 1:25 And Jesus said to him sharply, Be quiet, and come out of him.
Markus 1:26 Und der unsaubere Geist riß ihn und schrie laut und fuhr aus von ihm.	Mark 1:26 And the unclean spirit, shaking him violently, and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
Markus 1:27 Und sie entsetzten sich alle, also daß sie untereinander sich befragten und sprachen: Was ist das? Was ist das für eine neue Lehre? Er gebietet mit Gewalt den unsauberen Geistern, und sie gehorchen ihm.	Mark 1:27 And they were all greatly surprised, so that they put questions to one another, saying, What is this? a new teaching! with authority he gives orders even to the unclean spirits, and they do what he says.
Markus 1:28 Und sein Gerücht erscholl alsbald umher in das galiläische Land.	Mark 1:28 And news of him went out quickly everywhere into all parts of Galilee round about.
Markus 1:29 Und sie gingen alsbald aus der Schule und kamen in das Haus des Simon und Andreas mit Jakobus und Johannes.	Mark 1:29 And when they came out of the Synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
Markus 1:30 Und die Schwiegermutter Simons lag und hatte das Fieber; und alsbald sagten sie ihm von ihr.	Mark 1:30 Now Simon's wife's mother was ill, with a burning heat; and they gave him word of her:
Markus 1:31 Und er trat zu ihr und richtete sie auf und hielt sie bei der Hand; und das Fieber verließ sie, und sie diente ihnen.	Mark 1:31 And he came and took her by the hand, lifting her up; and she became well, and took care of their needs.
Markus 1:32 Am Abend aber, da die Sonne untergegangen war, brachten sie zu ihm allerlei Kranke und Besessene.	Mark 1:32 And in the evening, at sundown, they took to him all who were diseased, and those who had evil spirits.
Markus 1:33 Und die ganze Stadt versammelte sich vor der Tür.	Mark 1:33 And all the town had come together at the door.
Markus 1:34 Und er half vielen Kranken, die mit mancherlei Seuchen beladen waren, und trieb viele Teufel aus und ließ die Teufel nicht reden, denn sie kannten ihn.	Mark 1:34 And a number, who were ill with different diseases, he made well, and sent out evil spirits; but he did not let the evil spirits say anything, because they had knowledge of him.
Markus 1:35 Und des Morgens vor Tage stand er auf und ging hinaus. Und Jesus ging in eine wüste Stätte und betete daselbst.	Mark 1:35 And in the morning, a long time before daylight, he got up and went out to a quiet place, and there he gave himself up to prayer.
Markus 1:36 Und Petrus mit denen, die bei ihm waren, eilten ihm nach.	Mark 1:36 And Simon and those who were with him came after him.
Markus 1:37 Und da sie ihn fanden, sprachen sie zu ihm: Jedermann sucht dich.	Mark 1:37 And when they came up with him, they said to him, Everyone is looking for you.
Markus 1:38 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Laßt uns in die nächsten Städte gehen, daß ich daselbst auch predige; denn dazu bin ich gekommen.	Mark 1:38 And he said to them, Let us go to other parts into the nearest towns, so that I may give teaching there, because for this purpose I came.
Markus 1:39 Und er predigte in ihren Schulen in ganz Galiläa und trieb die Teufel aus.	Mark 1:39 And he went into their Synagogues in every part of Galilee, preaching and driving out evil spirits.
Markus 1:40 Und es kam zu ihm ein Aussätziger, der bat ihn, kniete vor ihm und sprach: Willst du, so kannst du mich wohl reinigen.	Mark 1:40 And a leper came to him and, going down on his knees before him, made a request, saying, If it is your pleasure, you have the power to make me clean.
Markus 1:41 Und es jammerte Jesum, und er reckte die Hand aus, rührte ihn an und sprach: Ich will's tun; sei gereinigt!	Mark 1:41 And being moved with pity, he put out his hand, and touching him said to him, It is my pleasure; be made clean.
Markus 1:42 Und als er so sprach, ging der Aussatz alsbald von ihm, und er ward rein.	Mark 1:42 And straight away the disease went from him, and he was made clean.
Markus 1:43 Und Jesus bedrohte ihn und trieb ihn alsbald von sich	Mark 1:43 And he sent him away, saying to him very sharply,
Markus 1:44 und sprach zu ihm: Siehe zu, daß du niemand davon sagest; sondern gehe hin und zeige dich dem Priester und opfere für deine Reinigung, was Mose geboten hat, zum Zeugnis über sie.	Mark 1:44 See that you say nothing to any man: but go and let the priest see you, and make yourself clean by an offering of the things ordered by Moses, for a witness to them.
Markus 1:45 Er aber, da er hinauskam, hob er an und sagte viel davon und machte die Geschichte ruchbar, also daß er hinfort nicht mehr konnte öffentlich in die Stadt gehen; sondern er war draußen in den wüsten Örtern, und sie kamen zu ihm von allen Enden.	Mark 1:45 But he went out, and made it public, giving an account of it everywhere, so that Jesus was no longer able to go openly into a town, but was outside in the waste land; and they came to him from every part.
