Markus 4	Mark 4
Markus 4:1 Und er fing abermals an, zu lehren am Meer. Und es versammelte sich viel Volks zu ihm, also daß er mußte in ein Schiff treten und auf dem Wasser sitzen; und alles Volk stand auf dem Lande am Meer.	Mark 4:1 And again he was teaching by the seaside. And a very great number of people had come to him, so that he got into a boat on the sea and took his seat; and all the people were on the land by the seaside.
Markus 4:2 Und er predigte ihnen lange durch Gleichnisse; und in seiner Predigt sprach er zu ihnen:	Mark 4:2 And he gave them teaching about a number of things in the form of stories, and said to them in his teaching, Give ear:
Markus 4:3 Höret zu! Siehe, es ging ein Sämann aus, zu säen.	Mark 4:3 A man went out to put seed in the earth:
Markus 4:4 Und es begab sich, indem er säte, fiel etliches an den Weg; da kamen die Vögel unter dem Himmel und fraßen's auf.	Mark 4:4 And while he was doing it, some was dropped by the wayside, and the birds came and took it for food.
Markus 4:5 Etliches fiel in das Steinige, wo es nicht viel Erde hatte; und ging bald auf, darum daß es nicht tiefe Erde hatte.	Mark 4:5 And some went on the stones, where it had not much earth; and it came up straight away, because the earth was not deep:
Markus 4:6 Da nun die Sonne aufging, verwelkte es, und dieweil es nicht Wurzel hatte verdorrte es.	Mark 4:6 And when the sun was high, it was burned; and because it had no root, it became dry and dead.
Markus 4:7 Und etliches fiel unter die Dornen; und die Dornen wuchsen empor und erstickten's, und es brachte keine Frucht.	Mark 4:7 And some went among the thorns, and the thorns came up, and it had no room for growth and gave no fruit.
Markus 4:8 Und etliches fiel auf ein gutes Land und brachte Frucht, die da zunahm und wuchs; etliches trug dreißigfältig und etliches sechzigfältig und etliches hundertfältig.	Mark 4:8 And some, falling on good earth, gave fruit, coming up and increasing, and giving thirty, sixty, and a hundred times as much.
Markus 4:9 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wer Ohren hat, zu hören, der höre!	Mark 4:9 And he said to them, Whoever has ears, let him give ear.
Markus 4:10 Und da er allein war, fragten ihn um dies Gleichnis, die um ihn waren, mitsamt den Zwölfen.	Mark 4:10 And when he was by himself, those who were round him with the twelve put questions to him about the purpose of the stories.
Markus 4:11 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Euch ist's gegeben, das Geheimnis des Reiches Gottes zu wissen; denen aber draußen widerfährt es alles nur durch Gleichnisse,	Mark 4:11 And he said to them, To you is given the secret of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, all things are given in the form of stories;
Markus 4:12 auf daß sie es mit sehenden Augen sehen, und doch nicht erkennen, und mit hörenden Ohren hören, und doch nicht verstehen, auf daß sie sich nicht dermaleinst bekehren und ihre Sünden ihnen vergeben werden.	Mark 4:12 So that seeing they may see, and it will not be clear to them; and hearing it, they will not get the sense; for fear that they may be turned again to me and have forgiveness.
Markus 4:13 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Verstehet ihr dies Gleichnis nicht, wie wollt ihr denn die andern alle verstehen?	Mark 4:13 And he said to them, If you are not clear about this story, how will you be clear about the others?
Markus 4:14 Der Sämann sät das Wort.	Mark 4:14 The seed is the word.
Markus 4:15 Diese sind's aber, die an dem Wege sind: Wo das Wort gesät wird und sie es gehört haben, so kommt alsbald der Satan und nimmt weg das Wort, das in ihr Herz gesät war.	Mark 4:15 And these are they by the wayside, where the word is planted; and when they have given ear, the Evil One comes straight away and takes away the word which has been planted in them.
Markus 4:16 Also auch die sind's, bei welchen aufs Steinige gesät ist: wenn sie das Wort gehört haben, nehmen sie es alsbald mit Freuden auf,	Mark 4:16 And in the same way, these are they who are planted on the stones, who, when the word has come to their ears, straight away take it with joy;
Markus 4:17 und haben keine Wurzel in sich, sondern sind wetterwendisch; wenn sich Trübsal oder Verfolgung um des Wortes willen erhebt, so ärgern sie sich alsbald.	Mark 4:17 And they have no root in themselves, but go on for a time; then, when trouble comes or pain, because of the word, they quickly become full of doubts.
Markus 4:18 Und diese sind's, bei welchen unter die Dornen gesät ist: die das Wort hören,	Mark 4:18 And others are those planted among the thorns; these are they who have given ear to the word,
Markus 4:19 und die Sorgen dieser Welt und der betrügerische Reichtum und viele andere Lüste gehen hinein und ersticken das Wort, und es bleibt ohne Frucht.	Mark 4:19 And the cares of this life, and the deceits of wealth, and the desire for other things coming in, put a stop to the growth of the word, and it gives no fruit.
Markus 4:20 Und diese sind's, bei welchen auf ein gutes Land gesät ist: die das Wort hören und nehmen's an und bringen Frucht, etliche dreißigfältig und etliche sechzigfältig und etliche hundertfältig.	Mark 4:20 And these are they who were planted on the good earth; such as give ear to the word, and take it into their hearts, and give fruit, thirty and sixty and a hundred times as much.
Markus 4:21 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Zündet man auch ein Licht an, daß man es unter einen Scheffel oder unter einen Tisch setze? Mitnichten, sondern daß man's auf einen Leuchter setze.	Mark 4:21 And he said to them, When the light comes in, do people put it under a vessel, or under the bed, and not on its table?
Markus 4:22 Denn es ist nichts verborgen, das es nicht offenbar werde, und ist nichts Heimliches, das nicht hervorkomme.	Mark 4:22 There is nothing covered which will not be seen openly, and nothing has been made secret which will not come to light.
Markus 4:23 Wer Ohren hat, zu hören, der höre!	Mark 4:23 If any man has ears, let him give ear.
Markus 4:24 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Sehet zu, was ihr höret! Mit welcherlei Maß ihr messet, wird man euch wieder messen, und man wird noch zugeben euch, die ihr dies hört.	Mark 4:24 And he said to them, Take care what you give ear to: in the same measure as you give you will get, and more will be given to you.
Markus 4:25 Denn wer da hat, dem wird gegeben; und wer nicht hat, von dem wird man nehmen, auch was er hat.	Mark 4:25 He who has, to him will be given: and he who has not, from him will be taken even that which he has.
Markus 4:26 Und er sprach: Das Reich Gottes hat sich also, als wenn ein Mensch Samen aufs Land wirft	Mark 4:26 And he said, Such is the kingdom of God, as if a man put seed in the earth,
Markus 4:27 und schläft und steht auf Nacht und Tag; und der Same geht auf und wächst, daß er's nicht weiß.	Mark 4:27 And went to sleep and got up, night and day, and the seed came to growth, though he had no idea how.
Markus 4:28 Denn die Erde bringt von selbst zum ersten das Gras, darnach die Ähren, darnach den vollen Weizen in den Ähren.	Mark 4:28 The earth gives fruit by herself; first the leaf, then the head, then the full grain.
Markus 4:29 Wenn sie aber die Frucht gebracht hat, so schickt er bald die Sichel hin; denn die Ernte ist da.	Mark 4:29 But when the grain is ready, he quickly sends men to get it cut, because the time for cutting has come.
Markus 4:30 Und er sprach: Wem wollen wir das Reich Gottes vergleichen, und durch welch Gleichnis wollen wir es vorbilden?	Mark 4:30 And he said, What picture may we give of the kingdom of God, or with what story may we make it clear?
Markus 4:31 Gleichwie ein Senfkorn, wenn das gesät wird aufs Land, so ist's das kleinste unter allen Samen auf Erden;	Mark 4:31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is put in the earth, is smaller than all the seeds on the earth,
Markus 4:32 und wenn es gesät ist, so nimmt es zu und wird größer denn alle Kohlkräuter und gewinnt große Zweige, also daß die Vögel unter dem Himmel unter seinem Schatten wohnen können.	Mark 4:32 But when it is planted, it comes up, and becomes taller than all the plants, and puts out great branches, so that the birds of heaven are able to take rest in its shade.
Markus 4:33 Und durch viele solche Gleichnisse sagte er ihnen das Wort, nach dem sie es hören konnten.	Mark 4:33 And with a number of such stories he gave them his teaching, as they were able to take it:
Markus 4:34 Und ohne Gleichnis redete er nichts zu ihnen; aber insonderheit legte er's seinen Jüngern alles aus.	Mark 4:34 And without a story he said nothing to them: but privately to his disciples he made all things clear.
Markus 4:35 Und an demselben Tage des Abends sprach er zu ihnen: Laßt uns hinüberfahren.	Mark 4:35 And on that day, when the evening had come, he said to them, Let us go over to the other side.
Markus 4:36 Und sie ließen das Volk gehen und nahmen ihn, wie er im Schiff war; und es waren mehr Schiffe bei ihm.	Mark 4:36 And going away from the people, they took him with them, as he was, in the boat. And other boats were with him.
Markus 4:37 Und es erhob sich ein großer Windwirbel und warf Wellen in das Schiff, also daß das Schiff voll ward.	Mark 4:37 And a great storm of wind came up, and the waves came into the boat, so that the boat was now becoming full.
Markus 4:38 Und er war hinten auf dem Schiff und schlief auf einem Kissen. Und sie weckten ihn auf und sprachen zu ihm: Meister, fragst du nichts darnach, daß wir verderben?	Mark 4:38 And he himself was in the back of the boat, sleeping on the cushion: and they, awaking him, said, Master, is it nothing to you that we are in danger of destruction?
Markus 4:39 Und er stand auf und bedrohte den Wind und sprach zu dem Meer: Schweig und verstumme! Und der Wind legte sich, und es ward eine große Stille.	Mark 4:39 And he came out of his sleep, and gave strong orders to the wind, and said to the sea, Peace, be at rest. And the wind went down, and there was a great calm.
Markus 4:40 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wie seid ihr so furchtsam? Wie, daß ihr keinen Glauben habt?	Mark 4:40 And he said to them, Why are you full of fear? have you still no faith?
Markus 4:41 Und sie fürchteten sich sehr und sprachen untereinander: Wer ist der? denn Wind und Meer sind ihm gehorsam.	Mark 4:41 And their fear was great, and they said one to another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea do his orders?
