Psalmen 97:1 Der HERR ist König; des freue sich das Erdreich und seien fröhlich die Inseln, soviel ihrer sind.	Psalms 97:1 The Lord is King, let the earth have joy; let all the sea-lands be glad.
Psalmen 97:2 Wolken und Dunkel ist um ihn her; Gerechtigkeit und Gericht ist seines Stuhles Festung.	Psalms 97:2 Dark clouds are round him; his kingdom is based on righteousness and right judging.
Psalmen 97:3 Feuer geht vor ihm her und zündet an umher seine Feinde.	Psalms 97:3 Fire goes before him, burning up all those who are against him round about.
Psalmen 97:4 Seine Blitze leuchten auf den Erdboden; das Erdreich siehet's und erschrickt.	Psalms 97:4 His bright flames give light to the world; the earth saw it with fear.
Psalmen 97:5 Die Berge zerschmelzen wie Wachs vor dem HERRN, vor dem Herrscher des ganzen Erdbodens.	Psalms 97:5 The mountains became like wax at the coming of the Lord, at the coming of the Lord of all the earth.
Psalmen 97:6 Die Himmel verkündigen seine Gerechtigkeit, und alle Völker sehen seine Ehre.	Psalms 97:6 The heavens gave out the news of his righteousness, and all the people saw his glory.
Psalmen 97:7 Schämen müssen sich alle, die den Bildern dienen und sich der Götzen rühmen. Betet ihn an, alle Götter!	Psalms 97:7 Shamed be all those who give worship to images, and take pride in false gods; give him worship, all you gods.
Psalmen 97:8 Zion hört es und ist froh; und die Töchter Juda's sind fröhlich, HERR, über dein Regiment.	Psalms 97:8 Zion gave ear and was glad; and the daughters of Judah were full of joy, because of your decisions, O Lord.
Psalmen 97:9 Denn du, HERR, bist der Höchste in allen Landen; du bist hoch erhöht über alle Götter.	Psalms 97:9 For you, Lord, are most high over the earth; you are lifted up over all other gods.
Psalmen 97:10 Die ihr den HERRN liebet, hasset das Arge! Der HERR bewahret die Seelen seiner Heiligen; von der Gottlosen Hand wird er sie erretten.	Psalms 97:10 You who are lovers of the Lord, be haters of evil; he keeps the souls of his saints; he takes them out of the hand of sinners.
Psalmen 97:11 Dem Gerechten muß das Licht immer wieder aufgehen und Freude den frommen Herzen.	Psalms 97:11 Light is shining on the lovers of righteousness, and for the upright in heart there is joy.
Psalmen 97:12 Ihr Gerechten freuet euch des HERRN und danket ihm und preiset seine Heiligkeit!	Psalms 97:12 Be glad in the Lord, you upright men; praising the memory of his holy name.
