Sacharja 7	Zechariah 7
Sacharja 7:1 Und es geschah im vierten Jahr des Königs Darius, daß des HERRN Wort geschah zu Sacharja am vierten Tage des neunten Monats, welcher heißt Chislev,	Zechariah 7:1 And it came about in the fourth year of King Darius, that the word of the Lord came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, the month Chislev.
Sacharja 7:2 da die zu Beth-El, nämlich Sarezer und Regem-Melech samt ihren Leuten, sandten, zu bitten vor dem HERRN,	Zechariah 7:2 Now they of Beth-el had sent Sharezer and Regem-melech to make a request for grace from the Lord,
Sacharja 7:3 und ließen sagen den Priestern, die da waren um das Haus des HERRN Zebaoth, und den Propheten: Muß ich auch noch weinen im fünften Monat und mich enthalten, wie ich solches getan habe nun so viele Jahre?	Zechariah 7:3 And to say to the priests of the house of the Lord of armies and to the prophets, Am I to go on weeping in the fifth month, separating myself as I have done in past years?
Sacharja 7:4 Und des HERRN Zebaoth Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:	Zechariah 7:4 Then the word of the Lord of armies came to me, saying
Sacharja 7:5 Sage allem Volk im Lande und den Priestern und sprich: Da ihr fastetet und Leid truget im fünften Monat und siebenten Monat diese siebzig Jahre lang, habt ihr mir so gefastet?	Zechariah 7:5 Say to all the people of the land and to the priests, When you went without food and gave yourselves to grief in the fifth and the seventh months for these seventy years, did you ever do it because of me?
Sacharja 7:6 Oder da ihr aßet und tranket, habt ihr nicht für euch selbst gegessen und getrunken?	Zechariah 7:6 And when you are feasting and drinking, are you not doing it only for yourselves?
Sacharja 7:7 Ist's nicht das, was der HERR predigen ließ durch die vorigen Propheten, da Jerusalem bewohnt war und hatte die Fülle samt ihren Städten umher und Leute wohnen gegen Mittag und in den Gründen?	Zechariah 7:7 Are not these the words which the Lord said to you by the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem was full of people and wealth, and the towns round about her and the South and the Lowland were peopled?
Sacharja 7:8 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Sacharja und sprach:	Zechariah 7:8 And the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying,
Sacharja 7:9 Also sprach der HERR Zebaoth: Richtet recht, und ein jeglicher beweise an seinem Bruder Güte und Barmherzigkeit;	Zechariah 7:9 This is what the Lord of armies has said: Let your judging be upright and done in good faith, let every man have mercy and pity for his brother:
Sacharja 7:10 und tut nicht unrecht den Witwen, Fremdlingen und Armen; und denke keiner wider seinen Bruder etwas Arges in seinem Herzen!	Zechariah 7:10 Do not be hard on the widow, or the child without a father, on the man from a strange country, or on the poor; let there be no evil thought in your heart against your brother.
Sacharja 7:11 Aber sie wollten nicht aufmerken und kehrten mir den Rücken zu und verstockten ihre Ohren, daß sie nicht hörten,	Zechariah 7:11 But they would not give attention, turning their backs and stopping their ears from hearing;
Sacharja 7:12 und machten ihre Herzen wie ein Demant, daß sie nicht hörten das Gesetz und die Worte, welche der HERR Zebaoth sandte in seinem Geiste durch die vorigen Propheten. Daher so großer Zorn vom HERRN Zebaoth gekommen ist;	Zechariah 7:12 And they made their hearts like the hardest stone, so that they might not give ear to the law and the words which the Lord of armies had said by the earlier prophets: and there came great wrath from the Lord of armies.
Sacharja 7:13 und es ist also ergangen; gleichwie gepredigt ward, und sie nicht hörten, so wollte ich auch nicht hören, da sie riefen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.	Zechariah 7:13 And it came about that as they would not give ear to his voice, so I would not give ear to their voice, says the Lord of armies:
Sacharja 7:14 Also habe ich sie zerstreut unter alle Heiden, die sie nicht kannten, und ist das Land hinter ihnen Wüst geblieben, daß niemand darin wandelt noch wohnt, und ist das edle Land zur Wüstung gemacht.	Zechariah 7:14 But with a storm-wind I sent them in flight among all the nations of whom they had no knowledge. So the land was waste after them, so that no man went through or came back: for they had made waste the desired land.
