Psalms 110
|
A Psalm. Of David. The Lord said to my lord, Be seated at my right hand, till I put all those who are against you under your feet. | Jehovah saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool. |
The Lord will send out the rod of your strength from Zion; be king over your haters. | Jehovah will send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion: Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. |
Your people give themselves gladly in the day of your power; like the dew of the morning on the holy mountains is the army of your young men. | Thy people offer themselves willingly In the day of thy power, in holy array: Out of the womb of the morning Thou hast the dew of thy youth. |
The Lord has made an oath, and will not take it back. You are a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek. | Jehovah hath sworn, and will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek. |
In the day of his wrath kings will be wounded by the Lord at your right hand. | The Lord at thy right hand Will strike through kings in the day of his wrath. |
He will be judge among the nations, the valleys will be full of dead bodies; the head over a great country will be wounded by him. | He will judge among the nations, He will fill [the places] with dead bodies; He will strike through the head in many countries. |
He will take of the stream by the way; so his head will be lifted up. | He will drink of the brook in the way: Therefore will he lift up the head. Psalm 111 |
