Amos 5:1 Give ear to this word, my song of sorrow over you, O children of Israel.	Amos 5:1 Pamatia ninyo kining pulonga nga akong gisugdan batok kaninyo alang sa usa ka pagminatay, Oh balay sa Israel.
Amos 5:2 The virgin of Israel has been made low, never again to be lifted up: she is stretched out by herself on her land; there is no one to put her on her feet again.	Amos 5:2 Ang ulay sa Israel napukan; siya dili na makabangon pag-usab: siya ginapukan ngadto sa iyang yuta; walay bisan kinsa nga magabangon kaniya.
Amos 5:3 For these are the words of the Lord God: The town which was able to send out a thousand, will have only a hundred; and that which sent out a hundred, will have only ten, in Israel.	Amos 5:3 Kay mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Ang ciudad nga minggula nga may usa ka libo, mabinlan ug usa ka gatus, ug kadtong minggula nga may usa ka gatus mabinlan ug napulo, sa balay sa Israel.
Amos 5:4 For these are the words of the Lord to the children of Israel: Let your hearts be turned to me, so that you may have life:	Amos 5:4 Kay mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova, sa balay sa Israel: Pangitaa ninyo ako ug kamo mangabuhi;
Amos 5:5 Do not be looking for help to Beth-el, and do not go to Gilgal, or make your way to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal will certainly be taken prisoner, and Beth-el will come to nothing.	Amos 5:5 Apan ayaw pagpangitaa ninyo ang Beth-el, ni mosulod kamo sa Gilgal, ug ayaw pag-agi sa Beer-seba: kay ang Gilgal sa pagkatinuod mabihag, ug ang Beth-el mawagtang.
Amos 5:6 Go to the Lord for help so that you may have life; for fear that he may come like fire bursting out in the family of Joseph, causing destruction, and there will be no one to put it out in Beth-el. Amos 5:11 So because the poor man is crushed under your feet, and you take taxes from him of grain: you have made for yourselves houses of cut stone, but you will not take your rest in them; the fair vine-gardens planted by your hands will not give you wine. Amos 5:12 For I have seen how your evil-doing is increased and how strong are your sins, you troublers of the upright, who take rewards and do wrong to the cause of the poor in the public place.	Amos 5:12 Kay ako nahibalo sa pagkadaghan nga hilabihan sa inyong mga kalapasan, ug pagkadagku gayud sa inyong mga sala-- kamo nga nagasakit sa mga matarung, kamo nga nagadawat sa hiphip, ug kamo nga nagasalikway sa mga hangul nga anaa sa ganghaan, sa paglaban sa ilang katungod.
Amos 5:13 So the wise will say nothing in that time; for it is an evil time.	Amos 5:13 Busa ang masinabuton magpakahilum lamang nianang panahona; kay kana mao ang panahon nga dautan.
Amos 5:14 Go after good and not evil, so that life may be yours: and so the Lord, the God of armies, will be with you, as you say. Amos 5:15 Be haters of evil and lovers of good, and let right be done in the public place: it may be that the Lord, the God of armies, will have mercy on the rest of Joseph.	Amos 5:15 Dumti ang dautan, ug higugmaa ang maayo, ug ipahamutang sa kalig-on ang justicia diha sa ganghaan: basin na lamang si Jehova, ang Dios sa mga panon, malooy sa mga salin ni Jose.
Amos 5:16 So these are the words of the Lord, the God of armies, the Lord: There will be weeping in all the open spaces; and in all the streets they will say, Sorrow! sorrow! and they will get in the farmer to the weeping, and the makers of sad songs to give cries of grief.	Amos 5:16 Busa mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova, ang Dios sa mga panon, ang Ginoo: Ang pagminatay anha sa tanang kadalanan nga halapad; ug sila magaingon diha sa tanang mga dalan: Alaut! alaut! ug tawgon nila ang mga mag-uuma aron managbalata, ug kadtong mga batid nga mobakho aron sa pagminatay.
Amos 5:17 In all the vine-gardens there will be cries of grief: for I will go through among you, says the Lord.	Amos 5:17 Ug diha sa tanang kaparrasan may mga pagbakho; kay ako moagi sa imong taliwala, nagaingon si Jehova.
Amos 5:18 Sorrow to you who are looking for the day of the Lord! what is the day of the Lord to you? it is dark and not light.	Amos 5:18 Alaut kamo nga magatinguha sa adlaw ni Jehova! Ngano man nga buot kamo nga moabut ang adlaw ni Jehova? Ang adlaw ni Jehova kangitngit man, ug dili kahayag.
Amos 5:19 As if a man, running away from a lion, came face to face with a bear; or went into the house and put his hand on the wall and got a bite from a snake.	Amos 5:19 Ingon sa usa ka tawo nga mikalagiw gikan sa usa ka leon, ug unya ang usa ka oso mitagbo kaniya; kun miadto sa usa ka balay ug manuko sa iyang kamot sa bungbong, ug usa ka bitin mipaak kaniya.
Amos 5:20 Will not the day of the Lord be dark and not light? even very dark, with no light shining in it?	Amos 5:20 Dili ba kangitngitan ang adlaw ni Jehova, ug dili kahayag? dili ba gayud hilabihan nga kangitngitan, ug walay kahayag niana?
Amos 5:21 Your feasts are disgusting to me, I will have nothing to do with them; I will take no delight in your holy meetings.	Amos 5:21 Ako nagaayad, ako nagatamay sa inyong mga fiesta, ug ako dili malipay sa inyong mga maligdong nga pagkatigum.
Amos 5:22 Even if you give me your burned offerings and your meal offerings, I will not take pleasure in them: I will have nothing to do with the peace-offerings of your fat beasts.	Amos 5:22 Oo, bisan pa kong kamo magatanyag kanako sa mga halad-nga-nog, ug sa inyong mga halad-nga-kalan-on ako dili modawat kanila; ni motagad ako sa mga halad-sa-pakigdait sa inyong mga matambok nga hayupan.
Amos 5:23 Take away from me the noise of your songs; my ears are shut to the melody of your instruments.	Amos 5:23 Ipahilayo ninyo kanako ang kasaba sa inyong mga awit; kay ako dili mamati sa honi nga mananoy sa inyong mga violin.
Amos 5:24 But let the right go rolling on like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.	Amos 5:24 Apan paagay-aya ang justicia sama sa katubigan, ug pasalanapa ang pagkamatarung sama sa usa ka dakung sapa.
Amos 5:25 Did you come to me with offerings of beasts and meal offerings in the waste land for forty years, O Israel?	Amos 5:25 Nagdala ba kamo kanako sa mga halad ug sa mga halad-nga-kalan-on didto sa kamingawan sa kap-atan ka tuig, Oh balay sa Israel?
