Deuteronomy 9:1 Give ear, O Israel: today you are to go over Jordan, to take the heritage of nations greater and stronger than yourselves, and towns of great size with walls as high as heaven;	Deuteronomio 9:1 Magpatalinghug ka, Oh Israel: ikaw motabok niining adlawa sa Jordan aron sa pagsulod sa pag-agaw ug mga nasud nga labing dagku ug labing kusgan kay kanimo, mga ciudad nga dagku ug kinutaan hangtud sa langit,
Deuteronomy 9:2 A people great and tall, the sons of the Anakim, of whom you have knowledge and of whom it has been said, All are forced to give way before the sons of Anak.	Deuteronomio 9:2 Usa ka katawohan nga dagku ug hatag-as, mga anak sa higante nga inyong hiilhan, nga tungod kanila nakadungog ikaw sa ginaingon. Kinsa ba ang makatindog sa atubangan sa mga anak sa higante?
Deuteronomy 9:3 Be certain then today that it is the Lord your God who goes over before you like an all-burning fire; he will send destruction on them, crushing them before you; and you will send them in flight, putting an end to them quickly, as the Lord has said.	Deuteronomio 9:3 Busa, hibaloi niiing adlawa, nga si Jehova nga imong Dios magauna kanimo sa pagtabok ingon sa kalayo nga magaut-ut; magalaglag siya kanila, ug pagapaubson niya sa imong atubangan; ug sama niini, magapapahawa ka kanila, ug magalaglag ka kanila sa madali, sumala sa gisulti ni Jehova kanimo.
Deuteronomy 9:4 And after the Lord has sent them in flight from before you, say not in your heart, Because of my righteousness the Lord has given me this land; when it is because of their evil-doing that the Lord is driving these nations out before you.	Deuteronomio 9:4 Dili ka magsulti gikan sa imong kasingkasing, sa tapus si Jehova magasalikway kanila gikan sa imong atubangan, nga magaingon: Tungod sa akong pagkamatarung gipasulod ako ni Jehova sa pagpanag-iya niining yutaa; busa tungod sa pagkadautan niining mga nasud ginasalikway sila ni Jehova sa imong atubangan.
Deuteronomy 9:5 Not for your righteousness or because your hearts are upright are you going in to take their land; but because of the evil-doing of these nations the Lord your God is driving them out from before you, and to give effect to his oath to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.	Deuteronomio 9:5 Dili tungod sa imong pagkamatarung, ni tungod sa pagkatul-id sa imong kasingkasing, makasulod ka sa pagpanag-iya sa yuta nila; kondili tungod sa pagkadautan niining mga nasud nga si Jehova nga imong Dios nagasalikway kanila gikan sa imong atubangan, aron matukod niya ang pulong nga gipanumpa ni Jehova sa imong mga amahan, kang Abraham, kang Isaac ug kang Jacob.
Deuteronomy 9:6 Be certain then that the Lord your God is not giving you this good land as a reward for your righteousness; for you are a stiff-necked people.	Deuteronomio 9:6 Busa, hibaloi nga dili tungod sa imong pagkamatarung nagahatag kanimo si Jehova niining maayong yuta aron sa pagpanag-iya niini: kay ikaw maoy usa ka katawohan nga masukihon.
Deuteronomy 9:7 Keep well in mind how you made the Lord your God angry in the waste land; from the day when you went out of Egypt till you came to this place, you have gone against the orders of the Lord.	Deuteronomio 9:7 Hinumduman mo, dili ka mahikalimot, kong giunsa mo paghagit sa kaligutgut si Jehova nga imong Dios didto sa kamingawan: gikan sa adlaw nga migikan ka sa yuta sa Egipto hangtud nga misulod kamo niining dapita, nagmasuklanon kamo batok kang Jehova.
Deuteronomy 9:8 Again in Horeb you made the Lord angry, and in his wrath he would have put an end to you.	Deuteronomio 9:8 Ug didto sa Horeb usab naghagit kamo kang Jehova sa kaligutgut ug nasuko si Jehova batok kaninyo ngadto sa paglaglag kaninyo
Deuteronomy 9:9 When I had gone up into the mountain to be given the stones on which was recorded the agreement which the Lord made with you, I was on the mountain for forty days and forty nights without taking food or drinking water.	Deuteronomio 9:9 Sa pagtungas ko sa bukid sa pagdawat sa mga papan nga bato, bisan sa mga papan sa tugon nga gibuhat ni Jehova uban kaninyo, didto mipabilin ako sa bukid sa kap-atan ka adlaw ug kap-atan ka gabii; ako wala mokaon ug tinapay ni moinum ug tubig;
Deuteronomy 9:10 And the Lord gave me the two stones with writing on them done by the finger of God: on them were recorded all the words which the Lord said to you on the mountain out of the heart of the fire, on the day of the great meeting.	Deuteronomio 9:10 Ug gihatag ni Jehova kanako ang duruha ka papan nga bato nga sinulatan sa tudlo sa Dios; ug kanila nahasulat ingon sa tanan nga mga pulong mga gisulti ni Jehova kaninyo didto sa bukid gikan sa taliwala sa kalayo sa adlaw sa pagkatigum.
Deuteronomy 9:11 Then at the end of forty days and forty nights the Lord gave me those stones, the stones of the agreement.	Deuteronomio 9:11 Ug nahitabo nga sa katapusan sa kap-atan ka adlaw ug kap-atan ka gabii, gihatag ni Jehova kanako ang duruha ka papan nga bato, bisan ang mga papan sa tugon.
Deuteronomy 9:12 And the Lord said to me, Get up now, and go down quickly from this place; for the people you have taken out of Egypt have given themselves over to evil; they have quickly been turned from the way in which I gave them orders to go; they have made themselves a metal image.	Deuteronomio 9:12 Ug si Jehova miingon kanako: Tumindog ka, ug lumugsong sa madali gikan dinhi, kay ang imong katawohan nga imong gikuha gikan sa Egipto naghimo ug dautan sa ilang kaugalingon; sa madali mingbulag sila sa dalan nga akong gisugo kanila: nagbuhat sila alang kanila ug usa ka larawan nga tinunaw.
Deuteronomy 9:13 And then the Lord said to me, I have seen that this people is stiff-necked:	Deuteronomio 9:13 Labut pa misulti kanako si Jehova, nga nagaingon: Nakita ko kining katawohan, ug, ania karon, kini usa ka katawohan nga masukihon:
Deuteronomy 9:14 Let me send destruction on them till their very name is cut off; and I will make of you a nation greater and stronger than they.	Deuteronomio 9:14 Pasagdi ako, nga pagalaglagon ko sila, ug pagapalaon ko ang ilang ngalan gikan sa ilalum sa langit: pagabuhaton ko ikaw nga usa ka nasud nga labing kusgan ug labing daghan pa kay kanila.
Deuteronomy 9:15 So turning round I came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire; and the two stones of the agreement were in my hands. Deuteronomy 9:16 And I saw that you had done evil against the Lord, and had made for yourselves a metal image of a young ox: you had quickly been turned from the way in which the Lord had given you orders to go.	Deuteronomio 9:16 Ug mitan-aw ako, ug ania karon, nakasala kamo batok kang Jehova nga inyong Dios; nagbuhat kamo ug usa ka nating vaca nga tinunaw; mibulag kamo sa madali gikan sa dalan nga gisugo ni Jehova kaninyo.
Deuteronomy 9:17 And I let the stones go from my hands, and they were broken before your eyes.	Deuteronomio 9:17 Ug gikuptan ko ang duruha ka papan ug akong gisalibay sila gikan sa akong duruha ka kamot, ug gidugmok ko sila sa atubangan sa inyong mga mata.
Deuteronomy 9:18 And I went down on my face before the Lord, as at the first, for forty days and forty nights, without taking food or drinking water, because of all your sin, in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord and moving him to wrath.	Deuteronomio 9:18 Ug mihapa ako sa atubangan ni Jehova, sama sa una, sa kap-atan ka adlaw ug sa kap-atan ka gabii; wala ako mokaon ug tinapay ni moinum ug tubig; tungod sa tanan ninyo nga sala nga inyong gibuhat, tungod sa imong pagbuhat ug dautan sa mga mata ni Jehova aron sa pagpasuko kaniya.
Deuteronomy 9:19 For I was full of fear because of the wrath of the Lord which was burning against you, with your destruction in view. But again the Lord's ear was open to my prayer.	Deuteronomio 9:19 Kay nahadlok ako sa kasuko ug sa kapungot nga gibatonan ni Jehova batok kaninyo ngadto sa paglaglag kaninyo. Apan si Jehova nagpatalinghug kanako niadtong panahona usab.
Deuteronomy 9:20 And the Lord, in his wrath, would have put Aaron to death: and I made prayer for Aaron at the same time.	Deuteronomio 9:20 Batok kang Aaron nasuko si Jehova sa hilabihan gayud ngadto sa paglaglag kaniya: ug nag-ampo usab ako alang kang Aaron niadtong panahona.
Deuteronomy 9:21 And I took your sin, the image which you had made, and put it in the fire and had it hammered and crushed very small till it was only dust: and the dust I put in the stream flowing down from the mountain.	Deuteronomio 9:21 Ug gikuha ko ang inyong sala, ang nating vaca nga inyong gibuhat, ug gisunog ko kini sa kalayo, ug gitipaktipak ko, nga giligis hangtud nga nadugmok pag-ayo, hangtud nga nahimong fino sama sa abug: ug gisalibay ko ang abug niini ngadto sa sapa nga nagaagay gikan sa bukid.
Deuteronomy 9:22 Again at Taberah and at Massah and at Kibroth-hattaavah you made the Lord angry.	Deuteronomio 9:22 Ug didto sa Tabera ug sa Massa ug sa Kibroth-hataavah naghagit kamo sa kasuko ni Jehova.
Deuteronomy 9:23 And when the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, Go up and take the land which I have given you; you went against the orders of the Lord your God, and had no faith in him, and would not give ear to his voice.	Deuteronomio 9:23 Ug sa gisugo kamo ni Jehova gikan sa Cades-barnea, nga nagaingon: Panungas kamo ug panag-iyaha ninyo ang yuta nga akong gihatag kaninyo, nagmasukihon usab kamo sa sugo ni Jehova nga inyong Dios, ug kamo wala managtoo, wala usab kamo managtuman sa iyang tingog.
Deuteronomy 9:24 From the day when I first had knowledge of you, you have gone against the word of the Lord.	Deuteronomio 9:24 Nagmasukihon kamo kang Jehova sukad sa adlaw nga nakaila ako kaninyo.
Deuteronomy 9:25 So I went down on my face in prayer before the Lord for forty days and forty nights as I did at first; because the Lord had said that he would put an end to you.	Deuteronomio 9:25 Busa mihapa ako sa atubangan ni Jehova sulod sa kap-atan ka adlaw ug sa kap-atan ka gabii, nga didto ako mihapa, kay miingon si Jehova nga pagalaglagon niya kamo.
Deuteronomy 9:26 And I made prayer to the Lord and said, O Lord God, do not send destruction on your people and your heritage, to whom, by your great power, you have given salvation, whom you have taken out of Egypt by the strength of your hand.	Deuteronomio 9:26 Ug nag-ampo ako kang Jehova, ug miingon: Oh Ginoong Jehova, dili mo paglaglagon ang imong katawohan ug ang imong panulondon nga imong giluwas pinaagi sa imong pagkamakagagahum, nga imong gikuha gikan sa Egipto pinaagi sa kamot nga kusgan.
Deuteronomy 9:27 Keep in mind your servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, not looking at the hard heart of this people, or their evil-doing and their sin:	Deuteronomio 9:27 Hinumdumi ang imong mga ulipon, si Abraham, si Isaac ug si Jacob, dili ka magatan-aw sa kagahi niining katawohan bisan sa ilang pagkadautan, bisan sa ilang sala.
Deuteronomy 9:28 Or it may be said in the land from which you have taken them, Because the Lord was not able to take them into the land which he said he would give them, and because of his hate for them, he has taken them out to put them to death in the waste land.	Deuteronomio 9:28 Tingali lamang unya ang yuta diin kami imong gikuha, magaingon: Tungod kay si Jehova wala makahimo sa pagdala ngadto sa yuta nga iyang gisaad kanila, ug tungod kay siya nagadumot kanila, iyang gidala sila ngadto aron sa pagpatay kanila sa kamingawan.
Deuteronomy 9:29 But still they are your people and your heritage, whom you took out by your great power and by your stretched-out arm.	Deuteronomio 9:29 Apan sila imong katawohan ug imong kabilin nga imong gikuha sa imong dakung gahum ug sa imong bukton nga tinuy-od.
