Jeremiah 38:1 Now it came to the ears of Shephatiah, the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah, the son of Pashhur, and Jucal, the son of Shelemiah, and Pashhur, the son of Malchiah, that Jeremiah had said to all the people,	Jeremias 38:1 Unya si Sephatias ang anak nga lalake ni Mathan, ug si Gedalias ang anak nga lalake ni Pashur, ug si Jucal ang anak nga lalake ni Selemias, ug si Pashur, ang anak nga lalake ni Malchias, nakadungog sa mga pulong nga gisulti ni Jeremias sa tibook katawohan, nga nagaingon:
Jeremiah 38:2 These are the words of the Lord: Whoever goes on living in this town will come to his death by the sword or through need of food or by disease: but whoever goes out to the Chaldaeans will keep his life out of the power of the attackers and be safe.	Jeremias 38:2 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Kadtong mopabilin niining ciudara mamatay pinaagi sa espada, pinaagi sa gutom, ug pinaagi sa kamatay; apan kadtong moadto sa mga Caldeahanon mabuhi, ug ang iyang kinabuhi mahimong ingon sa usa ka tukbonon nganha kaniya, ug mabuhi siya.
Jeremiah 38:3 The Lord has said, This town will certainly be given into the hands of the army of the king of Babylon, and he will take it.	Jeremias 38:3 Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Kining ciudara sa pagkamatuod igahatag ngadto sa kamot sa kasundalohan sa hari sa Babilonia, ug iyang maagaw kini.
Jeremiah 38:4 Then the rulers said to the king, Let this man be put to death, because he is putting fear into the hearts of the men of war who are still in the town, and into the hearts of the people, by saying such things to them: this man is not working for the well-being of the people, but for their damage. Jeremiah 38:5 Then Zedekiah the king said, See, he is in your hands: for the king was not able to do anything against them.	Jeremias 38:5 Ug si Sedechias ang hari miingon: Ania karon, siya anaa sa inyong kamot; kay ang hari dili mao kadtong makabuhat ug bisan unsa batok kaninyo.
Jeremiah 38:6 So they took Jeremiah and put him into the water-hole of Malchiah, the king's son, in the place of the armed watchmen: and they let Jeremiah down with cords. And in the hole there was no water, but wet earth: and Jeremiah went down into the wet earth.	Jeremias 38:6 Unya gikuha nila si Jeremias ug gibalhog siya sa gahong nga bilanggoan ni Malchias, ang anak nga lalake sa hari, nga didto sa sawang sa bilanggoan: ug ilang gitonton si Jeremias sa mga pisi. Jeremiah 38:7 Now it came to the ears of Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, an unsexed servant in the king's house, that they had put Jeremiah into the water-hole; the king at that time being seated in the doorway of Benjamin:	Jeremias 38:7 Karon sa pagkadungog ni Ebedmelech nga Etiopiahanon, ang usa ka eunuco nga diha sa balay sa hari, nga ilang gibutang sa gahong nga bilanggoan si Jeremias: (ang hari nagalingkod sa ganghaan ni Benjamin),
Jeremiah 38:8 And Ebed-melech went out from the king's house and said to the king,	Jeremias 38:8 Si Ebed-melech migula sa balay sa hari, ug misulti sa hari, nga nagaingon:
Jeremiah 38:9 My lord the king, these men have done evil in all they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have put into the water-hole; and he will come to his death in the place where he is through need of food: for there is no more bread in the town.	Jeremias 38:9 Ginoo ko nga hari, kining mga tawo nakabuhat ug dautan sa tanan nga ilang gihimo kang Jeremias nga manalagna, nga ilang gitambog sa gahong nga bilanggoan; ug siya himalatyon na tungod sa kagutom sa dapit diin siya karon mahimutang; kay wala nay tinapay sa ciudad.
Jeremiah 38:10 Then the king gave orders to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Take with you three men from here and get Jeremiah out of the water-hole before death overtakes him.	Jeremias 38:10 Unya ang hari nagsugo kang Ebed-melech nga Etiopiahanon, nga nagaingon: Pagkuha gikan didto ug katloan ka tawo uban kanimo, ug kuhaon mo si Jeremias nga manalagna gikan sa gahong nga bilanggoan sa dili pa siya mamatay.
Jeremiah 38:11 So Ebed-melech took the men with him and went into the house of the king, to the place where the clothing was kept, and got from there old clothing and bits of old cloth, and let them down by cords into the water-hole where Jeremiah was. Jeremiah 38:12 And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said to Jeremiah, Put these bits of old cloth under your arms under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.	Jeremias 38:12 Ug si Ebed-melech nga Etiopiahanon miingon kang Jeremias: Ibutang mo karon kining mga nuog ug dunot nga mga saput ilalum sa imong mga ilok ilalim sa mga pisi. Jeremiah 38:13 So pulling Jeremiah up with the cords they got him out of the water-hole: and Jeremiah was kept in the place of the armed watchmen. Jeremiah 38:14 Then King Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah the prophet and took him into the rulers' doorway in the house of the Lord: and the king said to Jeremiah, I have a question to put to you; keep nothing back from me. Jeremiah 38:15 Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, If I give you the answer to your question, will you not certainly put me to death? and if I make a suggestion to you, you will not give it a hearing.	Jeremias 38:15 Unya si Jeremias miingon kang Sedechias: Kong ipahayag ko kana kanimo, dili ba gayud patyon mo ako? ug kong motambag ako kanimo, dili man ikaw magpatalinghug kanako.
Jeremiah 38:16 So King Zedekiah gave his oath to Jeremiah secretly, saying, By the living Lord, who gave us our life, I will not put you to death, or give you up to these men who are desiring to take your life.	Jeremias 38:16 Busa si Sedechias nga hari nanumpa sa tago kang Jeremias, nga nagaingon: Ingon nga ang Dios buhi, nga nagbuhat kanato niining kalag, dili ko patyon ikaw, ni itugyan ko ikaw niining katawoahan na nangita sa imong kinabuhi.
Jeremiah 38:17 Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, These are the words of the Lord, the God of armies, the God of Israel: If you go out to the king of Babylon's captains, then you will have life, and the town will not be burned with fire, and you and your family will be kept from death:	Jeremias 38:17 Unya miingon si Jeremias kang Sedechias: Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova, ang Dios sa mga panon, ang Dios sa Israel: Kong moadto ka sa principe sa hari sa Babilonia, nan ang imong kalag mabuhi, ug kining ciudara dili sunogon sa kalayo; ug ikaw mabuhi, ug ang imong panimalay:
Jeremiah 38:18 But if you do not go out to the king of Babylon's captains, then this town will be given into the hands of the Chaldaeans and they will put it on fire, and you will not get away from them.	Jeremias 38:18 Apan kong ikaw dili moadto sa mga principe sa hari sa Babilonia, nan kining ciudara ihatag ngadto sa kamot sa mga Caldeahanon, ug ilang sunogon kini sa kalayo, ug ikaw dili makagawas gikan sa ilang kamot.
Jeremiah 38:19 And King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, I am troubled on account of the Jews who have gone over to the Chaldaeans, for fear that they may give me up to them and they will put me to shame.	Jeremias 38:19 Ug si Sedechias nga hari miingon kang Jeremias: Ako mahadlok sa mga Judio nga nangahulog ngadto sa mga Caldeahanon, tingali unya ilang itugyan ako ngadto sa ilang kamot, ug magabiaybiay sila kanako.
Jeremiah 38:20 But Jeremiah said, They will not give you up: be guided now by the word of the Lord as I have given it to you, and it will be well for you, and you will keep your life.	Jeremias 38:20 Apan si Jeremias miingon: sila dili magatugyan kanimo. Tumana, gipangamuyo ko kanimo, ang tingog ni Jehova, nianang gisulti ko kanimo: busa maayo kini alang kanimo, ug ang imong kalag mabuhi.
Jeremiah 38:21 But if you do not go out, this is what the Lord has made clear to me:	Jeremias 38:21 Apan kong ikaw magdumili sa pagadto, mao kini ang pulong nga gipakita ni Jehova kanako:
Jeremiah 38:22 See, all the rest of the women in the house of the king of Judah will be taken out to the king of Babylon's captains, and these women will say, Your nearest friends have been false to you and have got the better of you: they have made your feet go deep into the wet earth, and they are turned away back from you.	Jeremias 38:22 Ania karon, ang tanang mga babaye nga nanghibilin sa balay sa hari sa Juda pagadad-on ngadto sa mga principe sa hari sa Babilonia, ug kadtong mga babayehana manag-ingon: Ang imong mga suod nga higala naglimbong kanimo, ug nakadaug kanimo: karon nga ang imong mga tiil nanghiunlod sa kalapukan, sila mingsibog.
Jeremiah 38:23 And they will take all your wives and your children out to the Chaldaeans: and you will not get away out of their hands, but will be taken by the hands of the king of Babylon: and this town will be burned with fire.	Jeremias 38:23 Ug pagadad-on nila ang tanan ninyong mga asawa ug ang inyong mga anak ngadto sa mga Caldeahanon; ug dili ka makagawas gikan sa ilang kamot, kondili na hidakpan ka sa kamot sa hari sa Babilonia: ug imong ipasunog kining ciudara sa kalayo.
Jeremiah 38:24 Then Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, Let no man have knowledge of these words, and you will not be put to death.	Jeremias 38:24 Unya miingon si Sedechias kang Jeremias: Ayaw pagpahibalo kang bisan kinsa niining mga pulonga, ug dili ka mamatay.
Jeremiah 38:25 But if it comes to the ears of the rulers that I have been talking with you, and they come and say to you, Give us word now of what you have said to the king and what the king said to you, keeping nothing back and we will not put you to death;	Jeremias 38:25 Apan kong ang mga principe makadungog nga ako nakigsulti kanimo, ug sila manganhi kanimo, ug manag-ingon kanimo: Ipahayag kanamo karon kong unsay gisulti mo sa hari; ayaw kana itago kanamo, ug ikaw dili namo patyon: ingon man usab unsay giingon sa hari kanimo:
Jeremiah 38:26 Then you are to say to them, I made my request to the king, that he would not send me back to my death in Jonathan's house.	Jeremias 38:26 Nan ingnon mo sila: Gipahayag ko ang akong pangaliyupo sa atubangan sa hari, aron ako dili niya pabalikon sa balay ni Jonathan, aron sa pagpakamatay didto.
Jeremiah 38:27 Then all the rulers came to Jeremiah, questioning him: and he gave them an answer in the words the king had given him orders to say. So they said nothing more to him; for the thing was not made public.	Jeremias 38:27 Unya miduol ang tanang mga principe kang Jeremias, ug nangutana kaniya; ug siya nagsugilon kanila sumala niining tanan nga mga pulong nga gisugo kaniya sa hari. Busa sila minghunong sa pagpakigsulti kaniya; kay wala nila makita ang katin-awan.
Jeremiah 38:28 So Jeremiah was kept in the place of the armed watchmen till the day when Jerusalem was taken.	Jeremias 38:28 Busa si Jeremias mipuyo sa sawang sa bilanggoan hangtud sa adlaw sa pagkaagaw sa Jerusalem.
