Judges 3:1 Now these are the nations which the Lord kept in the land for the purpose of testing Israel by them, all those who had had no experience of all the wars of Canaan;	Mga Maghuhukom 3:1 Karon kini mao ang mga nasud nga gibilin ni Jehova aron sa pagsulay sa Israel pinaagi kanila, bisan ingon sa gidaghanon sa Israel nga wala mahibalo sa tanang mga gubat sa Canaan;
Judges 3:2 Only because of the generations of the children of Israel, for the purpose of teaching them war--only those who up till then had no experience of it;	Mga Maghuhukom 3:2 Aron lamang nga ang mga kaliwatan sa mga anak sa Israel mahibalo sa pagtudlo kanila sa gubat, bisan niadtong sa unang panahon walay nanghibalo bisan unsa mahitungod niini:
Judges 3:3 The five chiefs of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites and the Zidonians and the Hivites living in Mount Lebanon, from the mountain Baal-hermon as far as Hamath:	Mga Maghuhukom 3:3 Nga mao ang lima ka mga pangulo sa mga Philistehanon, ug sa tanang mga Canaanhon, ug sa mga Sidohihanon, ug sa mga Hebehanon nga nanagpuyo sa bukid sa Libano, sukad sa bukid sa Baal-hermon ngadto sa agianan sa pagsulod sa Hamath.
Judges 3:4 For the purpose of testing Israel by them, to see if they would give ear to the orders of the Lord, which he had given to their fathers by the hand of Moses.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:4 Ug sila gibilin sa pagsulay sa Israel pinaagi kanila, aron sa paghibalo kong sila manimati sa mga sugo ni Jehova, nga iyang gisugo sa ilang mga amahan pinaagi kang Moises.
Judges 3:5 Now the children of Israel were living among the Canaanites, the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites:	Mga Maghuhukom 3:5 Ug ang mga anak sa Israel nanagpuyo sa taliwala sa mga Canaanhon, sa mga Hetehanon, ug sa mga Amorehanon, ug sa mga Peresehanon, ug sa mga Hebehanon, ug sa mga Jebusehanon.
Judges 3:6 And they took as wives the daughters of these nations and gave their daughters to their sons, and became servants to their gods.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:6 Ug sila mikuha sa ilang mga anak nga babaye nga ilang gipangasawa, ug gihatag nila ang ilang kaugalingong mga anak nga babaye sa ilang mga anak nga lalake ug nanag-alagad sa ilang mga dios.
Judges 3:7 And the children of Israel did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and put out of their minds the Lord their God, and became servants to the Baals and the Astartes. Judges 3:8 So the wrath of the Lord was burning against Israel, and he gave them up into the hands of Cushan-rishathaim, king of Mesopotamia; and the children of Israel were his servants for eight years.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:8 Tungod niini ang kasuko ni Jehova misilaub batok sa Israel, ug iyang gibaligya sila ngadto sa kamot ni Chusan-risathaim, hari sa Mesopotamia: ug ang mga anak sa Israel nag-alagad kang Chusan-risathaim sa walo ka tuig.
Judges 3:9 And when the children of Israel made prayer to the Lord, he gave them a saviour, Othniel, the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:9 Ug sa diha nga ang mga anak sa Israel mingtu-aw ngadto kang Jehova, si Jehova nagpatindog ug usa ka manluluwas sa mga anak sa Israel, nga nagluwas kanila, nga mao si Othoniel, ang anak nga lalake ni Cenez, ang manghud nga lalake ni Caleb.
Judges 3:10 And the spirit of the Lord came on him and he became judge of Israel, and went out to war, and the Lord gave up Cushan-rishathaim, king of Mesopotamia, into his hands and he overcame him.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:10 Ug ang Espiritu ni Jehova mikunsad kaniya, ug siya namaghuhukom sa Israel; ug siya miadto sa pagpakiggubat, ug si Jehova nagtugyan kang Chusan-risathaim, hari sa Mesopotamia, ngadto sa iyang kamot ug ang iyang kamot nakadaug batok kang Chusan-risathaim.
Judges 3:11 Then for forty years the land had peace, till the death of Othniel, the son of Kenaz.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:11 Ug ang yuta nakapahulay sa kap-atan ka tuig. Ug si Othoniel ang anak nga lalake ni Cenez namatay.
Judges 3:12 Then the children of Israel again did evil in the eyes of the Lord; and the Lord made Eglon, king of Moab, strong against Israel, because they had done evil in the Lord's eyes.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:12 Ug ang mga anak sa Israel naghimo pag-usab niadtong dautan sa mga mata ni Jehova: ug si Jehova nagpalig-on kang Eglon, ang hari sa Moab batok sa Israel, tungod kay naghimo sila niadtong dautan sa panan-aw ni Jehova.
Judges 3:13 And Eglon got together the people of Ammon and Amalek, and they went and overcame Israel and took the town of palm-trees.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:13 Ug siya nagtigum ngadto kaniya sa mga anak sa Ammon ug ni Amalec; ug iyang giadto ug gihampak ang Israel ug ilang naagaw ang ciudad sa mga palma.
Judges 3:14 And the children of Israel were servants to Eglon, king of Moab, for eighteen years.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:14 Ug ang mga anak sa Israel nag-alagad kang Eglon, ang hari sa Moab napulo ug walo ka tuig.
Judges 3:15 Then when the children of Israel made prayer to the Lord, he gave them a saviour, Ehud, the son of Gera, the Benjamite, a left-handed man; and the children of Israel sent an offering by him to Eglon, king of Moab.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:15 Apan sa diha nga ang mga anak sa Israel mingtu-aw ngadto kang Jehova, si Jehova nagpatindog kanila ug usa ka manluluwas, si Aod, ang anak nga lalake ni Gera, ang Benjamitanhon usa ka tawo nga walhon. Ug ang mga anak sa Israel nagpadala ug buhis ngadto kang Eglon, ang hari sa Moab pinaagi kaniya.
Judges 3:16 So Ehud made himself a two-edged sword, a cubit long, which he put on at his right side under his robe.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:16 Ug si Aod nagbuhat alang kaniya usa ka pinuti nga may duha ka sulab, usa ka maniko ang gitas-on; ug iyang gitakin kini sa ilalum sa iyang saput sa toong hawak.
Judges 3:17 And he took the offering to Eglon, king of Moab, who was a very fat man.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:17 Ug siya nagtanyag sa buhis ngadto kang Eglon, hari sa Moab: karon si Eglon maoy usa ka matambok kaayo nga tawo.
Judges 3:18 And after giving the offering, he sent away the people who had come with the offering.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:18 Ug sa diha nga siya nakatapus na sa paghatag sa buhis, iyang gipapahawa ang katawohan nga nagdala sa buhis.
Judges 3:19 But he himself, turning back from the stone images at Gilgal, said, I have something to say to you in secret, O king. And he said, Let there be quiet. Then all those who were waiting before him went out.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:19 Apan siya sa iyang kaugalingon mitalikod gikan sa mga larawan nga didto sa Gilgal, ug miingon: Ako dunay usa ka tinago nga sugo alang kanimo, Oh hari. Ug siya miingon: Paghilum. Ug ang tanan nga nagatindog duol kaniya namahawa gikan kaniya.
Judges 3:20 Then Ehud came in to him while he was seated by himself in his summer-house. And Ehud said, I have a word from God for you. And he got up from his seat.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:20 Ug si Aod miadto kaniya; ug siya naglingkod nga walay uban diha sa mabugnaw nga lawak nga diha sa itaas. Ug si Aod miingon: Ako adunay usa ka mensaje gikan sa Dios nganha kanimo. Ug siya mitindog gikan sa iyang lingkoranan.
Judges 3:21 And Ehud put out his left hand, and took the sword from his right side, and sent it into his stomach;	Mga Maghuhukom 3:21 Ug si Aod mibakyaw sa iyang walang kamot, ug gikuha ang pinuti gikan sa iyang toong hawak, ug gidunggab sa iyang lawas:
Judges 3:22 And the hand-part went in after the blade, and the fat was joined up over the blade; for he did not take the sword out of his stomach. And he went out into the ...	Mga Maghuhukom 3:22 Ug ang puloan usab naipo sunod sa sulab; ug ang tambok mitabon sa sulab kay wala man niya ibta ang pinuti sa iyang lawas; ug kini milapus sa likod.
Judges 3:23 Then Ehud went out into the covered way, shutting the doors of the summer-house on him and locking them.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:23 Unya si Aod miadto ngadto sa pantawan ug gitakpan ang mga pultahan sa lawak sa itaas tungod kaniya ug giyawihan kini.
Judges 3:24 Now when he had gone, the king's servants came, and saw that the doors of the summer-house were locked; and they said, It may be that he is in his summer-house for a private purpose.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:24 Karon sa diha nga nakagula na siya ang iyang mga sulogoon ming-abut; ug ilang nakita, ug ania karon, ang mga pultahan sa kinatas-ang lawak giyawihan; ug sila miingon: Sa pagkatinuod siya nagatabon sa iyang mga tiil sa kinatas-ang lawak.
Judges 3:25 And they went on waiting till they were shamed, but the doors were still shut; so they took the key, and, opening them, saw their lord stretched out dead on the floor.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:25 Ug sila naghulat hangtud nga sila nangalibog; ug ania karon, wala niya ablihi ang mga pultahan sa kinatas-ang lawak; sa ingon niana ilang gikuha ang yawi ug giablihan kini, ug ania karon, ang ilang agalon napukan nga patay sa yuta.
Judges 3:26 But Ehud had got away while they were waiting and had gone past the stone images and got away to Seirah.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:26 Ug si Aod mikalagiw sa diha nga sila naghunong pa, ug miagi sa likod sa mga larawan, ug mikalagiw ngadto sa Seirata.
Judges 3:27 And when he came there, he had a horn sounded in the hill-country of Ephraim, and all the children of Israel went down with him from the hill-country, and he at their head.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:27 Ug nahitabo sa diha nga nahiabut siya, nga siya mihuyop ug usa ka trompeta didto sa kabungtoran sa Ephraim: ug ang mga anak sa Israel minglugsong uban kaniya gikan sa kabungtoran, ug siya ang nag-una kanila.
Judges 3:28 And he said to them, Come after me; for the Lord has given the Moabites, your haters, into your hands. So they went down after him and took the crossing-places of Jordan against Moab, and let no one go across.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:28 Ug siya miingon kanila: Sumunod kamo kanako: kay si Jehova naghatag sa inyong mga kaaway ang Moabihanon nganha sa inyong kamot. Ug sila minglugsong nunot kaniya ug ilang gikuha ang mga labanganan sa Jordan batok sa mga Moabihanon, ug walay bisan kinsa nga tawo gipatabok.
Judges 3:29 At that time they put about ten thousand men of Moab to the sword, every strong man and every man of war; not a man got away.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:29 Ug sa ilang gipatay nga mga Moabihanon niadtong panahona may napulo ka libo ka tawo, ang tanan nga mga supang, ug ang tanang mga tawo nga maisug; ug walay usa ka tawo nga nakagawas.
Judges 3:30 So Moab was broken that day under the hand of Israel. And for eighty years the land had peace.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:30 Busa ang Moab gidaug niadtong adlawa ilalum sa kamot sa Israel. Ug ang yuta nakapahulay kawaloan ka tuig.
Judges 3:31 And after him came Shamgar, the son of Anath, who put to death six hundred Philistines with an ox-stick; and he was another saviour of Israel.	Mga Maghuhukom 3:31 Ug sunod kaniya mao si Shamgar, ang anak nga lalake ni Anath; nga nakamatay sa mga Philistehanon unom ka gatus ka tawo pinaagi sa usa ka igtutugsok sa vaca: ug siya usab nagluwas sa Israel.
