Joel 1	約珥書 1
Joel 1:1 The word of the Lord which came to Joel, the son of Pethuel.	約珥書 1:1 耶 和 華 的 話 臨 到 毘 土 珥 的 兒 子 約 珥 。
Joel 1:2 Give ear to this, you old men, and take note, you people of the land. Has this ever been in your days, or in the days of your fathers?	約珥書 1:2 老 年 人 哪 、 當 聽 我 的 話 ． 國 中 的 居 民 哪 、 都 要 側 耳 而 聽 ． 在 你 們 的 日 子 、 或 你 們 列 祖 的 日 子 、 曾 有 這 樣 的 事 麼 。
Joel 1:3 Give the story of it to your children, and let them give it to their children, and their children to another generation.	約珥書 1:3 你 們 要 將 這 事 傳 與 子 、 子 傳 與 孫 、 孫 傳 與 後 代 。
Joel 1:4 What the worm did not make a meal of, has been taken by the locust; and what the locust did not take, has been food for the plant-worm; and what the plant-worm did not take, has been food for the field-fly.	約珥書 1:4 剪 蟲 剩 下 的 、 蝗 蟲 來 喫 ． 蝗 蟲 剩 下 的 、 蝻 子 來 喫 ． 蝻 子 剩 下 的 、 螞 蚱 來 喫 。
Joel 1:5 Come out of your sleep, you who are overcome with wine, and give yourselves to weeping; give cries of sorrow, all you drinkers of wine, because of the sweet wine; for it has been cut off from your mouths.	約珥書 1:5 酒 醉 的 人 哪 、 要 清 醒 哭 泣 ． 好 酒 的 人 哪 、 都 要 為 甜 酒 哀 號 ． 因 為 從 你 們 的 口 中 斷 絕 了 。
Joel 1:6 For a nation has come up over my land, strong and without number; his teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the back teeth of a great lion.	約珥書 1:6 有 一 隊 蝗 蟲 〔 原 文 是 民 〕 又 強 盛 、 又 無 數 、 侵 犯 我 的 地 ． 牠 的 牙 齒 如 獅 子 的 牙 齒 、 大 牙 如 母 獅 的 大 牙 。
Joel 1:7 By him my vine is made waste and my fig-tree broken: he has taken all its fruit and sent it down to the earth; its branches are made white.	約珥書 1:7 牠 毀 壞 我 的 葡 萄 樹 、 剝 了 我 無 花 果 樹 的 皮 、 剝 盡 而 丟 棄 、 使 枝 條 露 白 。
Joel 1:8 Make sounds of grief like a virgin dressed in haircloth for the husband of her early years.	約珥書 1:8 我 的 民 哪 、 你 當 哀 號 、 像 處 女 腰 束 麻 布 、 為 幼 年 的 丈 夫 哀 號 。
Joel 1:9 The meal offering and the drink offering have been cut off from the house of the Lord; the priests, the Lord's servants, are sorrowing.	約珥書 1:9 素 祭 和 奠 祭 從 耶 和 華 的 殿 中 斷 絕 ． 事 奉 耶 和 華 的 祭 司 都 悲 哀 。
Joel 1:10 The fields are wasted, the land has become dry; for the grain is wasted, the new wine is kept back, the oil is poor.	約珥書 1:10 田 荒 涼 、 地 悲 哀 ． 因 為 五 穀 毀 壞 、 新 酒 乾 竭 、 油 也 缺 乏 。
Joel 1:11 The farmers are shamed, the workers in the vine-gardens give cries of grief, for the wheat and the barley; for the produce of the fields has come to destruction.	約珥書 1:11 農 夫 阿 、 你 們 要 慚 愧 、 修 理 葡 萄 園 的 阿 、 你 們 要 哀 號 、 因 為 大 麥 小 麥 與 田 間 的 莊 稼 都 滅 絕 了 。
Joel 1:12 The vine has become dry and the fig-tree is feeble; the pomegranate and the palm-tree and the apple-tree, even all the trees of the field, are dry: because joy has gone from the sons of men.	約珥書 1:12 葡 萄 樹 枯 乾 、 無 花 果 樹 衰 殘 。 石 榴 樹 、 棕 樹 、 蘋 果 樹 、 連 田 野 一 切 的 樹 木 也 都 枯 乾 ． 眾 人 的 喜 樂 盡 都 消 滅 。
Joel 1:13 Put haircloth round you and give yourselves to sorrow, you priests; give cries of grief, you servants of the altar: come in, and, clothed in haircloth, let the night go past, you servants of my God: for the meal offering and the drink offering have been kept back from the house of your God.	約珥書 1:13 祭 司 阿 、 你 們 當 腰 束 麻 布 痛 哭 ． 伺 候 祭 壇 的 阿 、 你 們 要 哀 號 ． 事 奉 我 　 神 的 阿 、 你 們 要 來 披 上 麻 布 過 夜 ． 因 為 素 祭 、 和 奠 祭 、 從 你 們 　 神 的 殿 中 斷 絕 了 。
Joel 1:14 Let a time be fixed for going without food, have a holy meeting, let the old men, even all the people of the land, come together to the house of the Lord your God, crying out to the Lord.	約珥書 1:14 你 們 要 分 定 禁 食 的 日 子 、 宣 告 嚴 肅 會 、 招 聚 長 老 、 和 國 中 的 一 切 居 民 、 到 耶 和 華 你 們 　 神 的 殿 、 向 耶 和 華 哀 求 。
Joel 1:15 Sorrow for the day! for the day of the Lord is near, and as destruction from the Ruler of all it will come.	約珥書 1:15 哀 哉 、 耶 和 華 的 日 子 臨 近 了 ． 這 日 來 到 、 好 像 毀 滅 從 全 能 者 來 到 。
Joel 1:16 Is not food cut off before our eyes? joy and delight from the house of our God?	約珥書 1:16 糧 食 不 是 在 我 們 眼 前 斷 絕 了 麼 ． 歡 喜 快 樂 不 是 從 我 們 　 神 的 殿 中 止 息 了 麼 。
Joel 1:17 The grains have become small and dry under the spade; the store-houses are made waste, the grain-stores are broken down; for the grain is dry and dead.	約珥書 1:17 穀 種 在 土 塊 下 朽 爛 ． 倉 也 荒 涼 、 廩 也 破 壞 ． 因 為 五 穀 枯 乾 了 。
Joel 1:18 What sounds of pain come from the beasts! the herds of cattle are at a loss because there is no grass for them; even the flocks of sheep are no longer to be seen.	約珥書 1:18 牲 畜 哀 鳴 、 牛 群 混 亂 、 因 為 無 草 ． 羊 群 也 受 了 困 苦 。
Joel 1:19 O Lord, my cry goes up to you: for fire has put an end to the grass-lands of the waste, and all the trees of the field are burned with its flame.	約珥書 1:19 耶 和 華 阿 、 我 向 你 求 告 ． 因 為 火 燒 滅 曠 野 的 草 場 、 火 焰 燒 盡 田 野 的 樹 木 ．
Joel 1:20 The beasts of the field are turning to you with desire: for the water-streams are dry and fire has put an end to the grass-lands of the waste.	約珥書 1:20 田 野 的 走 獸 向 你 發 喘 ． 因 為 溪 水 乾 涸 、 火 也 燒 滅 曠 野 的 草 場 。
