Ephesians 2:1 And to you did he give life, when you were dead through your wrongdoing and sins,	Ephésiens 2:1 Vous étiez morts par vos offenses et par vos péchés,
Ephesians 2:2 In which you were living in the past, after the ways of this present world, doing the pleasure of the lord of the power of the air, the spirit who is now working in those who go against the purpose of God;	Ephésiens 2:2 dans lesquels vous marchiez autrefois, selon le train de ce monde, selon le prince de la puissance de l`air, de l`esprit qui agit maintenant dans les fils de la rébellion.
Ephesians 2:3 Among whom we all at one time were living in the pleasures of our flesh, giving way to the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and the punishment of God was waiting for us even as for the rest.	Ephésiens 2:3 Nous tous aussi, nous étions de leur nombre, et nous vivions autrefois selon les convoitises de notre chair, accomplissant les volontés de la chair et de nos pensées, et nous étions par nature des enfants de colère, comme les autres...
Ephesians 2:4 But God, being full of mercy, through the great love which he had for us,	Ephésiens 2:4 Mais Dieu, qui est riche en miséricorde, à cause du grand amour dont il nous a aimés,
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead through our sins, gave us life together with Christ (by grace you have salvation),	Ephésiens 2:5 nous qui étions morts par nos offenses, nous a rendus à la vie avec Christ (c`est par grâce que vous êtes sauvés);
Ephesians 2:6 So that we came back from death with him, and are seated with him in the heavens, in Christ Jesus;	Ephésiens 2:6 il nous a ressuscités ensemble, et nous a fait asseoir ensemble dans les lieux célestes, en Jésus Christ,
Ephesians 2:7 That in the time to come he might make clear the full wealth of his grace in his mercy to us in Christ Jesus:	Ephésiens 2:7 afin de montrer dans les siècles à venir l`infinie richesse de sa grâce par sa bonté envers nous en Jésus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8 Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God:	Ephésiens 2:8 Car c`est par la grâce que vous êtes sauvés, par le moyen de la foi. Et cela ne vient pas de vous, c`est le don de Dieu.
Ephesians 2:9 Not by works, so that no man may take glory to himself.	Ephésiens 2:9 Ce n`est point par les oeuvres, afin que personne ne se glorifie.
Ephesians 2:10 For by his act we were given existence in Christ Jesus to do those good works which God before made ready for us so that we might do them.	Ephésiens 2:10 Car nous sommes son ouvrage, ayant été créés en Jésus Christ pour de bonnes oeuvres, que Dieu a préparées d`avance, afin que nous les pratiquions.
Ephesians 2:11 For this reason keep it in mind that in the past you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are looked on as being outside the circumcision by those who have circumcision, in the flesh, made by hands;	Ephésiens 2:11 C`est pourquoi, vous autrefois païens dans la chair, appelés incirconcis par ceux qu`on appelle circoncis et qui le sont en la chair par la main de l`homme,
Ephesians 2:12 That you were at that time without Christ, being cut off from any part in Israel's rights as a nation, having no part in God's agreement, having no hope, and without God in the world.	Ephésiens 2:12 souvenez-vous que vous étiez en ce temps-là sans Christ, privés du droit de cité en Israël, étrangers aux alliances de la promesse, sans espérance et sans Dieu dans le monde.
Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who at one time were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.	Ephésiens 2:13 Mais maintenant, en Jésus Christ, vous qui étiez jadis éloignés, vous avez été rapprochés par le sang de Christ.
Ephesians 2:14 For he is our peace, who has made the two into one, and by whom the middle wall of division has been broken down,	Ephésiens 2:14 Car il est notre paix, lui qui des deux n`en a fait qu`un, et qui a renversé le mur de séparation, l`inimitié,
Ephesians 2:15 Having in his flesh put an end to that which made the division between us, even the law with its rules and orders, so that he might make in himself, of the two, one new man, so making peace;	Ephésiens 2:15 ayant anéanti par sa chair la loi des ordonnances dans ses prescriptions, afin de créer en lui-même avec les deux un seul homme nouveau, en établissant la paix,
Ephesians 2:16 And that the two might come into agreement with God in one body through the cross, so putting an end to that division.	Ephésiens 2:16 et de les réconcilier, l`un et l`autre en un seul corps, avec Dieu par la croix, en détruisant par elle l`inimitié.
Ephesians 2:17 And he came preaching peace to you who were far off, and to those who were near;	Ephésiens 2:17 Il est venu annoncer la paix à vous qui étiez loin, et la paix à ceux qui étaient près;
Ephesians 2:18 Because through him the two of us are able to come near in one Spirit to the Father.	Ephésiens 2:18 car par lui nous avons les uns et les autres accès auprès du Père, dans un même Esprit.
Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer as those who have no part or place in the kingdom of God, but you are numbered among the saints, and of the family of God,	Ephésiens 2:19 Ainsi donc, vous n`êtes plus des étrangers, ni des gens du dehors; mais vous êtes concitoyens des saints, gens de la maison de Dieu.
Ephesians 2:20 Resting on the base of the Apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief keystone,	Ephésiens 2:20 Vous avez été édifiés sur le fondement des apôtres et des prophètes, Jésus Christ lui-même étant la pierre angulaire.
Ephesians 2:21 In whom all the building, rightly joined together, comes to be a holy house of God in the Lord;	Ephésiens 2:21 En lui tout l`édifice, bien coordonné, s`élève pour être un temple saint dans le Seigneur.
Ephesians 2:22 In whom you, with the rest, are united together as a living-place of God in the Spirit.	Ephésiens 2:22 En lui vous êtes aussi édifiés pour être une habitation de Dieu en Esprit.
