Ezra 8:1 Now these are the heads of families who were listed of those who went up with me from Babylon, when Artaxerxes was king.	Esdras 8:1 Voici les chefs de familles et les généalogies de ceux qui montèrent avec moi de Babylone, sous le règne du roi Artaxerxès.
Ezra 8:2 Of the sons of Phinehas, Gershom; of the sons of Ithamar, Daniel; of the sons of David, Hattush;	Esdras 8:2 Des fils de Phinées, Guerschom; des fils d`Ithamar, Daniel; des fils de David, Hatthusch, des fils de Schecania;
Ezra 8:3 Of the sons of Shecaniah; of the sons of Parosh, Zechariah; and with him were listed a hundred and fifty males.	Esdras 8:3 des fils de Pareosch, Zacharie, et avec lui cent cinquante mâles enregistrés;
Ezra 8:4 Of the sons of Pahath-moab, Eliehoenai, the son of Zerahiah; and with him two hundred males.	Esdras 8:4 des fils de Pachat Moab, Eljoénaï, fils de Zerachja, et avec lui deux cents mâles;
Ezra 8:5 Of the sons of Shecaniah, the son of Jahaziel; and with him three hundred males.	Esdras 8:5 des fils de Schecania, le fils de Jachaziel, et avec lui trois cents mâles;
Ezra 8:6 And of the sons of Adin, Ebed, the son of Jonathan; and with him fifty males.	Esdras 8:6 des fils d`Adin, Ébed, fils de Jonathan, et avec lui cinquante mâles;
Ezra 8:7 And of the sons of Elam, Jeshaiah; the son of Athaliah; and with him seventy males.	Esdras 8:7 des fils d`Élam, Ésaïe, fils d`Athalia, et avec lui soixante-dix mâles;
Ezra 8:8 And of the sons of Shephatiah, Zebadiah, the son of Michael; and with him eighty males.	Esdras 8:8 des fils de Schephathia, Zebadia, fils de Micaël, et avec lui quatre-vingts mâles;
Ezra 8:9 Of the sons of Joab, Obadiah, the son of Jehiel; and with him two hundred and eighteen males.	Esdras 8:9 des fils de Joab, Abdias, fils de Jehiel, et avec lui deux cent dix-huit mâles;
Ezra 8:10 And of the sons of Shelomith, the son of Josiphiah; and with him a hundred and sixty males.	Esdras 8:10 des fils de Schelomith, le fils de Josiphia, et avec lui cent soixante mâles;
Ezra 8:11 And of the sons of Bebai, Zechariah, the son of Bebai; and with him twenty-eight males.	Esdras 8:11 des fils de Bébaï, Zacharie, fils de Bébaï, et avec lui vingt-huit mâles;
Ezra 8:12 And of the sons of Azgad, Johanan, the son of Hakkatan; and with him a hundred and ten males.	Esdras 8:12 des fils d`Azgad, Jochanan, fils d`Hakkathan, et avec lui cent dix mâles;
Ezra 8:13 And of the sons of Adonikam, the last, whose names were Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah; and with them sixty males.	Esdras 8:13 des fils d`Adonikam, les derniers, dont voici les noms: Éliphéleth, Jeïel et Schemaeja, et avec eux soixante mâles;
Ezra 8:14 And of the sons of Bigvai, Uthai and Zabbud; and with them seventy males.	Esdras 8:14 des fils de Bigvaï, Uthaï et Zabbud, et avec eux soixante-dix mâles.
Ezra 8:15 And I made them come together by the river flowing to Ahava; and we were there in tents for three days: and after viewing the people and the priests I saw that no sons of Levi were there.	Esdras 8:15 Je les rassemblai près du fleuve qui coule vers Ahava, et nous campâmes là trois jours. Je dirigeai mon attention sur le peuple et sur les sacrificateurs, et je ne trouvai là aucun des fils de Lévi.
Ezra 8:16 Then I sent for Eliezer and Ariel and Shemaiah and Elnathan Jarib and Elnathan and Nathan and Zechariah and Meshullam, all responsible men; and for Joiarib and Elnathan, who were wise men.	Esdras 8:16 Alors je fis appeler les chefs Éliézer, Ariel, Schemaeja, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zacharie et Meschullam, et les docteurs Jojarib et Elnathan.
Ezra 8:17 And I sent them to Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and gave them orders what to say to Iddo and his brothers the Nethinim at the place Casiphia, so that they might come back to us with men to do the work of the house of our God.	Esdras 8:17 Je les envoyai vers le chef Iddo, demeurant à Casiphia, et je mis dans leur bouche ce qu`ils devaient dire à Iddo et à ses frères les Néthiniens qui étaient à Casiphia, afin qu`ils nous amenassent des serviteurs pour la maison de notre Dieu.
Ezra 8:18 And by the help of our God they got for us Ish-sechel, one of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah with his sons and brothers, eighteen;	Esdras 8:18 Et, comme la bonne main de notre Dieu était sur nous, ils nous amenèrent Schérébia, homme de sens, d`entre les fils de Machli, fils de Lévi, fils d`Israël, et avec lui ses fils et ses frères, au nombre de dix-huit;
Ezra 8:19 And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brothers and their sons, twenty;	Esdras 8:19 Haschabia, et avec lui Ésaïe, d`entre les fils de Merari, ses frères et leurs fils, au nombre de vingt;
Ezra 8:20 And of the Nethinim, to whom David and the captains had given the work of helping the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinim, all of them specially named.	Esdras 8:20 et d`entre les Néthiniens, que David et les chefs avaient mis au service des Lévites, deux cent vingt Néthiniens, tous désignés par leurs noms.
Ezra 8:21 Then I gave orders for a time of going without food, there by the river Ahava, so that we might make ourselves low before our God in prayer, requesting from him a straight way for us and for our little ones and for all our substance.	Esdras 8:21 Là, près du fleuve d`Ahava, je publiai un jeûne d`humiliation devant notre Dieu, afin d`implorer de lui un heureux voyage pour nous, pour nos enfants, et pour tout ce qui nous appartenait.
Ezra 8:22 For I would not, for shame, make request to the king for a band of armed men and horsemen to give us help against those who might make attacks on us on the way: for we had said to the king, The hand of our God is on his servants for good, but his power and his wrath are against all those who are turned away from him.	Esdras 8:22 J`aurais eu honte de demander au roi une escorte et des cavaliers pour nous protéger contre l`ennemi pendant la route, car nous avions dit au roi: La main de notre Dieu est pour leur bien sur tous ceux qui le cherchent, mais sa force et sa colère sont sur tous ceux qui l`abandonnent.
Ezra 8:23 So we went without food, requesting our God for this: and his ear was open to our prayer.	Esdras 8:23 C`est à cause de cela que nous jeûnâmes et que nous invoquâmes notre Dieu. Et il nous exauça.
Ezra 8:24 So I put on one side twelve of the chiefs of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers with them,	Esdras 8:24 Je choisis douze chefs des sacrificateurs, Schérébia, Haschabia, et dix de leurs frères.
Ezra 8:25 And gave to them by weight the silver and the gold and the vessels, all the offering for the house of our God which the king and his wise men and his captains and all Israel there present had given:	Esdras 8:25 Je pesai devant eux l`argent, l`or, et les ustensiles, donnés en offrande pour la maison de notre Dieu par le roi, ses conseillers et ses chefs, et par tous ceux d`Israël qu`on avait trouvés.
Ezra 8:26 Measuring into their hands six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels, a hundred talents' weight, and a hundred talents of gold,	Esdras 8:26 Je remis entre leurs mains six cent cinquante talents d`argent, des ustensiles d`argent pour cent talents, cent talents d`or,
Ezra 8:27 And twenty gold basins, of a thousand darics, and two vessels of the best bright brass, equal in value to gold.	Esdras 8:27 vingt coupes d`or valant mille dariques, et deux vases d`un bel airain poli, aussi précieux que l`or.
Ezra 8:28 And I said to them, You are holy to the Lord and the vessels are holy: and the silver and the gold are an offering freely given to the Lord, the God of your fathers.	Esdras 8:28 Puis je leur dis: Vous êtes consacrés à l`Éternel; ces ustensiles sont des choses saintes, et cet argent et cet or sont une offrande volontaire à l`Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères.
Ezra 8:29 Take care of them and keep them, till you put them on the scales before the chiefs of the priests and the Levites and the chiefs of the families of Israel, in Jerusalem, in the rooms of the house of the Lord.	Esdras 8:29 Soyez vigilants, et prenez cela sous votre garde, jusqu`à ce que vous le pesiez devant les chefs des sacrificateurs et les Lévites, et devant les chefs de familles d`Israël, à Jérusalem, dans les chambres de la maison de l`Éternel.
Ezra 8:30 So the priests and the Levites took the weight of silver and gold and the vessels, to take them to Jerusalem into the house of our God.	Esdras 8:30 Et les sacrificateurs et les Lévites reçurent au poids l`argent, l`or et les ustensiles, pour les porter à Jérusalem, dans la maison de notre Dieu.
Ezra 8:31 Then we went away from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go to Jerusalem; and the hand of our God was on us, and he gave us salvation from our haters and those who were waiting to make an attack on us by the way.	Esdras 8:31 Nous partîmes du fleuve d`Ahava pour nous rendre à Jérusalem, le douzième jour du premier mois. La main de notre Dieu fut sur nous et nous préserva des attaques de l`ennemi et de toute embûche pendant la route.
Ezra 8:32 And we came to Jerusalem and were there for three days.	Esdras 8:32 Nous arrivâmes à Jérusalem, et nous nous y reposâmes trois jours.
Ezra 8:33 And on the fourth day, the silver and the gold and the vessels were measured out by weight in the house of our God into the hands of Meremoth, the son of Uriah, the priest; and with him was Eleazar, the son of Phinehas; and with them were Jozabad, the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah, the son of Binnui, the Levites;	Esdras 8:33 Le quatrième jour, nous pesâmes dans la maison de notre Dieu l`argent, l`or, et les ustensiles, que nous remîmes à Merémoth, fils d`Urie, le sacrificateur; il y avait avec lui Éléazar, fils de Phinées, et avec eux les Lévites Jozabad, fils de Josué, et Noadia, fils de Binnuï.
Ezra 8:34 All was handed over by number and by weight: and the weight was put on record at that time.	Esdras 8:34 Le tout ayant été vérifié, soit pour le nombre, soit pour le poids, on mit alors par écrit le poids du tout.
Ezra 8:35 And those who had been prisoners, who had come back from a strange land, made burned offerings to the God of Israel, twelve oxen for all Israel, ninety-six male sheep, seventy-seven lambs, twelve he-goats for a sin-offering: all this was a burned offering to the Lord.	Esdras 8:35 Les fils de la captivité revenus de l`exil offrirent en holocauste au Dieu d`Israël douze taureaux pour tout Israël, quatre-vingt-seize béliers, soixante-dix-sept agneaux, et douze boucs comme victimes expiatoires, le tout en holocauste à l`Éternel.
Ezra 8:36 And they gave the king's orders to the king's captains and the rulers across the river, and they gave the people and the house of God the help which was needed.	Esdras 8:36 Ils transmirent les ordres du roi aux satrapes du roi et aux gouverneurs de ce côté du fleuve, lesquels honorèrent le peuple et la maison de Dieu.
