Hebrews 9:1 Now the first agreement had its rules of worship, and a holy order.	Hébreux 9:1 La première alliance avait aussi des ordonnances relatives au culte, et le sanctuaire terrestre.
Hebrews 9:2 For the first Tent was made ready, having in it the vessels for the lights and the table and the ordering of the bread; and this is named the holy place.	Hébreux 9:2 Un tabernacle fut, en effet, construit. Dans la partie antérieure, appelée le lieu saint, étaient le chandelier, la table, et les pains de proposition.
Hebrews 9:3 And inside the second veil was the place which is named the Holy of holies;	Hébreux 9:3 Derrière le second voile se trouvait la partie du tabernacle appelée le saint des saints,
Hebrews 9:4 Having a vessel of gold in it for burning perfumes, and the ark of the agreement, which was covered with gold and which had in it a pot made of gold for the manna, and Aaron's rod which put out buds, and the stones with the writing of the agreement;	Hébreux 9:4 renfermant l`autel d`or pour les parfums, et l`arche de l`alliance, entièrement recouverte d`or. Il y avait dans l`arche un vase d`or contenant la manne, la verge d`Aaron, qui avait fleuri, et les tables de l`alliance.
Hebrews 9:5 And over it were the winged ones of glory with their wings covering the mercy-seat; about which it is not possible now to say anything in detail.	Hébreux 9:5 Au-dessus de l`arche étaient les chérubins de la gloire, couvrant de leur ombre le propitiatoire. Ce n`est pas le moment de parler en détail là-dessus.
Hebrews 9:6 Now while these things were in existence, the priests went into the first Tent at all times, for prayer and the making of offerings.	Hébreux 9:6 Or, ces choses étant ainsi disposées, les sacrificateurs qui font le service entrent en tout temps dans la première partie du tabernacle;
Hebrews 9:7 But only the high priest went into the second, once a year, not without making an offering of blood for himself and for the errors of the people:	Hébreux 9:7 et dans la seconde le souverain sacrificateur seul entre une fois par an, non sans y porter du sang qu`il offre pour lui-même et pour les péchés du peuple.
Hebrews 9:8 The Holy Spirit witnessing by this that the way into the holy place had not at that time been made open, while the first Tent was still in being;	Hébreux 9:8 Le Saint Esprit montrait par là que le chemin du lieu très saint n`était pas encore ouvert, tant que le premier tabernacle subsistait.
Hebrews 9:9 And this is an image of the present time; when the offerings which are given are not able to make the heart of the worshipper completely clean,	Hébreux 9:9 C`est une figure pour le temps actuel, où l`on présente des offrandes et des sacrifices qui ne peuvent rendre parfait sous le rapport de la conscience celui qui rend ce culte,
Hebrews 9:10 Because they are only rules of the flesh, of meats and drinks and washings, which have their place till the time comes when things will be put right.	Hébreux 9:10 et qui, avec les aliments, les boissons et les divers ablutions, étaient des ordonnances charnelles imposées seulement jusqu`à une époque de réformation.
Hebrews 9:11 But now Christ has come as the high priest of the good things of the future, through this greater and better Tent, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this world,	Hébreux 9:11 Mais Christ est venu comme souverain sacrificateur des biens à venir; il a traversé le tabernacle plus grand et plus parfait, qui n`est pas construit de main d`homme, c`est-à-dire, qui n`est pas de cette création;
Hebrews 9:12 And has gone once and for ever into the holy place, having got eternal salvation, not through the blood of goats and young oxen, but through his blood.	Hébreux 9:12 et il est entré une fois pour toutes dans le lieu très saint, non avec le sang des boucs et des veaux, mais avec son propre sang, ayant obtenu une rédemption éternelle.
Hebrews 9:13 For if the blood of goats and oxen, and the dust from the burning of a young cow, being put on the unclean, make the flesh clean:	Hébreux 9:13 Car si le sang des taureaux et des boucs, et la cendre d`une vache, répandue sur ceux qui sont souillés, sanctifient et procurent la pureté de la chair,
Hebrews 9:14 How much more will the blood of Christ, who, being without sin, made an offering of himself to God through the Holy Spirit, make your hearts clean from dead works to be servants of the living God?	Hébreux 9:14 combien plus le sang de Christ, qui, par un esprit éternel, s`est offert lui-même sans tache à Dieu, purifiera-t-il votre conscience des oeuvres mortes, afin que vous serviez le Dieu vivant!
Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause it is through him that a new agreement has come into being, so that after the errors under the first agreement had been taken away by his death, the word of God might have effect for those who were marked out for an eternal heritage.	Hébreux 9:15 Et c`est pour cela qu`il est le médiateur d`une nouvelle alliance, afin que, la mort étant intervenue pour le rachat des transgressions commises sous la première alliance, ceux qui ont été appelés reçoivent l`héritage éternel qui leur a été promis.
Hebrews 9:16 Because where there is a testament, there has to be the death of the man who made it.	Hébreux 9:16 Car là où il y a un testament, il est nécessaire que la mort du testateur soit constatée.
Hebrews 9:17 For a testament has effect after death; for what power has it while the man who made it is living?	Hébreux 9:17 Un testament, en effet, n`est valable qu`en cas de mort, puisqu`il n`a aucune force tant que le testateur vit.
Hebrews 9:18 So that even the first agreement was not made without blood.	Hébreux 9:18 Voilà pourquoi c`est avec du sang que même la première alliance fut inaugurée.
Hebrews 9:19 For when Moses had given all the rules of the law to the people, he took the blood of goats and young oxen, with water and red wool and hyssop, and put it on the book itself and on all the people,	Hébreux 9:19 Moïse, après avoir prononcé devant tout le peuple tous les commandements de la loi, prit le sang des veaux et des boucs, avec de l`eau, de la laine écarlate, et de l`hysope; et il fit l`aspersion sur le livre lui-même et sur tout le peuple, en disant:
Hebrews 9:20 Saying, This blood is the sign of the agreement which God has made with you.	Hébreux 9:20 Ceci est le sang de l`alliance que Dieu a ordonnée pour vous.
Hebrews 9:21 And the blood was put on the Tent and all the holy vessels in the same way.	Hébreux 9:21 Il fit pareillement l`aspersion avec le sang sur le tabernacle et sur tous les ustensiles du culte.
Hebrews 9:22 And by the law almost all things are made clean with blood, and without blood there is no forgiveness.	Hébreux 9:22 Et presque tout, d`après la loi, est purifié avec du sang, et sans effusion de sang il n`y a pas de pardon.
Hebrews 9:23 For this cause it was necessary to make the copies of the things in heaven clean with these offerings; but the things themselves are made clean with better offerings than these.	Hébreux 9:23 Il était donc nécessaire, puisque les images des choses qui sont dans les cieux devaient être purifiées de cette manière, que les choses célestes elles-mêmes le fussent par des sacrifices plus excellents que ceux-là.
Hebrews 9:24 For Christ did not go into a holy place which had been made by men's hands as the copy of the true one; but he went into heaven itself, and now takes his place before the face of God for us.	Hébreux 9:24 Car Christ n`est pas entré dans un sanctuaire fait de main d`homme, en imitation du véritable, mais il est entré dans le ciel même, afin de comparaître maintenant pour nous devant la face de Dieu.
Hebrews 9:25 And he did not have to make an offering of himself again and again, as the high priest goes into the holy place every year with blood which is not his;	Hébreux 9:25 Et ce n`est pas pour s`offrir lui-même plusieurs fois qu`il y est entré, comme le souverain sacrificateur entre chaque année dans le sanctuaire avec du sang étranger;
Hebrews 9:26 For then he would have undergone a number of deaths from the time of the making of the world: but now he has come to us at the end of the old order, to put away sin by the offering of himself.	Hébreux 9:26 autrement, il aurait fallu qu`il eût souffert plusieurs fois depuis la création du monde, tandis que maintenant, à la fin des siècles, il a paru une seul fois pour abolir le péché par son sacrifice.
Hebrews 9:27 And because by God's law death comes to men once, and after that they are judged;	Hébreux 9:27 Et comme il est réservé aux hommes de mourir une seul fois, après quoi vient le jugement,
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ, having at his first coming taken on himself the sins of men, will be seen a second time, without sin, by those who are waiting for him, for their salvation.	Hébreux 9:28 de même Christ, qui s`est offert une seul fois pour porter les péchés de plusieurs, apparaîtra sans péché une seconde fois à ceux qui l`attendent pour leur salut.
