Jeremiah 28:1 And it came about in that year, when Zedekiah first became king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananiah, the son of Azzur the prophet, who came from Gibeon, said to Jeremiah in the house of the Lord, before the priests and all the people,	Jérémie 28:1 Dans la même année, au commencement du règne de Sédécias, roi de Juda, le cinquième mois de la quatrième année, Hanania, fils d`Azzur, prophète, de Gabaon, me dit dans la maison de l`Éternel, en présence des sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple:
Jeremiah 28:2 These are the words of the Lord of armies, the God of Israel: By me the yoke of the king of Babylon has been broken.	Jérémie 28:2 Ainsi parle l`Éternel des armées, le Dieu d`Israël: Je brise le joug du roi de Babylone!
Jeremiah 28:3 In the space of two years I will send back into this place all the vessels of the Lord's house which Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, took away from this place to Babylon:	Jérémie 28:3 Encore deux années, et je fais revenir dans ce lieu tous les ustensiles de la maison de l`Éternel, que Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, a enlevés de ce lieu, et qu`il a emportés à Babylone.
Jeremiah 28:4 And I will let Jeconiah, the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, come back to this place, with all the prisoners of Judah who went to Babylon, says the Lord: for I will have the yoke of the king of Babylon broken.	Jérémie 28:4 Et je ferai revenir dans ce lieu, dit l`Éternel, Jeconia, fils de Jojakim, roi de Juda, et tous les captifs de Juda, qui sont allés à Babylone; car je briserai le joug du roi de Babylone.
Jeremiah 28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, before the priests and all the people who had come into the house of the Lord,	Jérémie 28:5 Jérémie, le prophète, répondit à Hanania, le prophète, en présence des sacrificateurs et de tout le peuple qui se tenaient dans la maison de l`Éternel.
Jeremiah 28:6 The prophet Jeremiah said, So be it: may the Lord do so: may the Lord give effect to the words which you have said, and let the vessels of the Lord's house, and all the people who have been taken away, come back from Babylon to this place.	Jérémie 28:6 Jérémie, le prophète, dit: Amen! que l`Éternel fasse ainsi! que l`Éternel accomplisse les paroles que tu as prophétisées, et qu`il fasse revenir de Babylone en ce lieu les ustensiles de la maison de l`Éternel et tous les captifs!
Jeremiah 28:7 But still, give ear to this word which I am saying to you and to all the people:	Jérémie 28:7 Seulement écoute cette parole que je prononce à tes oreilles et aux oreilles de tout le peuple:
Jeremiah 28:8 The prophets, who were before me and before you, from early times gave word to a number of countries and great kingdoms about war and destruction and disease.	Jérémie 28:8 Les prophètes qui ont paru avant moi et avant toi, dès les temps anciens, ont prophétisé contre des pays puissants et de grands royaumes la guerre, le malheur et la peste;
Jeremiah 28:9 The prophet whose words are of peace, when his words come true, will be seen to be a prophet whom the Lord has sent.	Jérémie 28:9 mais si un prophète prophétise la paix, c`est par l`accomplissement de ce qu`il prophétise qu`il sera reconnu comme véritablement envoyé par l`Éternel.
Jeremiah 28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and it was broken by his hands.	Jérémie 28:10 Alors Hanania, le prophète, enleva le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie, le prophète, et il le brisa.
Jeremiah 28:11 And before all the people Hananiah said, The Lord has said, Even so will I let the yoke of the king of Babylon be broken off the necks of all the nations in the space of two years. Then the prophet Jeremiah went away.	Jérémie 28:11 Et Hanania dit en présence de tout le peuple: Ainsi parle l`Éternel: C`est ainsi que, dans deux années, je briserai de dessus le cou de toutes les nations le joug de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone. Et Jérémie, le prophète, s`en alla.
Jeremiah 28:12 Then after the yoke had been broken off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah by Hananiah the prophet, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,	Jérémie 28:12 Après que Hanania, le prophète, eut brisé le joug de dessus le cou de Jérémie, le prophète, la parole de l`Éternel fut adressée à Jérémie, en ces mots:
Jeremiah 28:13 Go and say to Hananiah, This is what the Lord has said: Yokes of wood have been broken by you, but in their place I will make yokes of iron.	Jérémie 28:13 Va, et dis à Hanania: Ainsi parle l`Éternel: Tu as brisé un joug de bois, et tu auras à sa place un joug de fer.
Jeremiah 28:14 For the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: I have put a yoke of iron on the necks of all these nations, making them servants to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; and they are to be his servants: and in addition I have given him the beasts of the field.	Jérémie 28:14 Car ainsi parle l`Éternel des armées, le Dieu d`Israël: Je mets un joug de fer sur le cou de toutes ces nations, pour qu`elles soient asservies à Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, et elles lui seront asservies; je lui donne aussi les animaux des champs.
Jeremiah 28:15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, Give ear, now, Hananiah; the Lord has not sent you; but you are making this people put their faith in what is false.	Jérémie 28:15 Et Jérémie, le prophète, dit à Hanania, le prophète: Écoute, Hanania! L`Éternel ne t`a point envoyé, et tu inspires à ce peuple une fausse confiance.
Jeremiah 28:16 For this reason the Lord has said, See, I will send you away from off the face of the earth: this year death will overtake you, because you have said words against the Lord.	Jérémie 28:16 C`est pourquoi ainsi parle l`Éternel: Voici, je te chasse de la terre; tu mourras cette année; car tes paroles sont une révolte contre l`Éternel.
Jeremiah 28:17 So death came to Hananiah the prophet the same year, in the seventh month.	Jérémie 28:17 Et Hanania, le prophète, mourut cette année-là, dans le septième mois.
