Zephaniah 3:1 Sorrow to her who is uncontrolled and unclean, the cruel town!	Sophonie 3:1 Malheur à la ville rebelle et souillée, A la ville pleine d`oppresseurs!
Zephaniah 3:2 She gave no attention to the voice, she had no use for teaching, she put no faith in the Lord, she did not come near to her God.	Sophonie 3:2 Elle n`écoute aucune voix, Elle n`a point égard à la correction, Elle ne se confie pas en l`Éternel, Elle ne s`approche pas de son Dieu.
Zephaniah 3:3 Her rulers are like loud-voiced lions in her; her judges are wolves of the evening, crushing up the bones before the morning.	Sophonie 3:3 Ses chefs au milieu d`elle sont des lions rugissants; Ses juges sont des loups du soir qui ne gardent rien pour le matin.
Zephaniah 3:4 Her prophets are good-for-nothing persons, full of deceit: her priests have made the holy place unclean and have gone violently against the law.	Sophonie 3:4 Ses prophètes sont téméraires, infidèles; Ses sacrificateurs profanent les choses saintes, violent la loi.
Zephaniah 3:5 The Lord in her is upright; he will not do evil; every morning he lets his righteousness be seen, he is unchanging; but the evil-doer has no sense of shame.	Sophonie 3:5 L`Éternel est juste au milieu d`elle, Il ne commet point d`iniquité; Chaque matin il produit à la lumière ses jugements, Sans jamais y manquer; Mais celui qui est inique ne connaît pas la honte.
Zephaniah 3:6 I have had the nations cut off, their towers are broken down; I have made their streets a waste so that no one goes through them: destruction has overtaken their towns, so that there is no man living in them.	Sophonie 3:6 J`ai exterminé des nations; leurs tours sont détruites; J`ai dévasté leurs rues, plus de passants! Leurs villes sont ravagées, plus d`hommes, plus d`habitants!
Zephaniah 3:7 I said, Certainly you will go in fear of me, and come under my training, so that whatever I may send on her may not be cut off before her eyes: but they got up early and made all their works evil.	Sophonie 3:7 Je disais: Si du moins tu voulais me craindre, Avoir égard à la correction, Ta demeure ne serait pas détruite, Tous les châtiments dont je t`ai menacée n`arriveraient pas; Mais ils se sont hâtés de pervertir toutes leurs actions.
Zephaniah 3:8 For this reason, go on waiting for me, says the Lord, till the day when I come up as a witness: for my purpose is to send for the nations and to get the kingdoms together, so that I may let loose on them my passion, even all my burning wrath: for all the earth will be burned up in the fire of my bitter passion.	Sophonie 3:8 Attendez-moi donc, dit l`Éternel, Au jour où je me lèverai pour le butin, Car j`ai résolu de rassembler les nations, De rassembler les royaumes, Pour répandre sur eux ma fureur, Toute l`ardeur de ma colère; Car par le feu de ma jalousie tout le pays sera consumé.
Zephaniah 3:9 For then I will give the people a clean language, so that they may all make prayer to the Lord and be his servants with one mind.	Sophonie 3:9 Alors je donnerai aux peuples des lèvres pures, Afin qu`ils invoquent tous le nom de l`Éternel, Pour le servir d`un commun accord.
Zephaniah 3:10 From over the rivers of Ethiopia, and from the sides of the north, they will come to me with an offering.	Sophonie 3:10 D`au delà des fleuves de l`Éthiopie Mes adorateurs, mes dispersés, m`apporteront des offrandes.
Zephaniah 3:11 In that day you will have no shame on account of all the things in which you did evil against me: for then I will take away from among you those who were lifted up in pride, and you will no longer be lifted up with pride in my holy mountain.	Sophonie 3:11 En ce jour-là, tu n`auras plus à rougir de toutes tes actions Par lesquelles tu as péché contre moi; Car alors j`ôterai du milieu de toi ceux qui triomphaient avec arrogance, Et tu ne t`enorgueilliras plus sur ma montagne sainte.
Zephaniah 3:12 But I will still have among you a quiet and poor people, and they will put their faith in the name of the Lord.	Sophonie 3:12 Je laisserai au milieu de toi un peuple humble et petit, Qui trouvera son refuge dans le nom de l`Éternel.
Zephaniah 3:13 The rest of Israel will do no evil and say no false words; the tongue of deceit will not be seen in their mouth: for they will take their food and their rest, and no one will be a cause of fear to them.	Sophonie 3:13 Les restes d`Israël ne commettront point d`iniquité, Ils ne diront point de mensonges, Et il ne se trouvera pas dans leur bouche une langue trompeuse; Mais ils paîtront, ils se reposeront, et personne ne les troublera.
Zephaniah 3:14 Make melody, O daughter of Zion; give a loud cry, O Israel; be glad and let your heart be full of joy, O daughter of Jerusalem.	Sophonie 3:14 Pousse des cris de joie, fille de Sion! Pousse des cris d`allégresse, Israël! Réjouis-toi et triomphe de tout ton coeur, fille de Jérusalem!
Zephaniah 3:15 The Lord has taken away those who were judging you, he has sent your haters far away: the King of Israel, even the Lord, is among you: you will have no more fear of evil.	Sophonie 3:15 L`Éternel a détourné tes châtiments, Il a éloigné ton ennemi; Le roi d`Israël, l`Éternel, est au milieu de toi; Tu n`as plus de malheur à éprouver.
Zephaniah 3:16 In that day it will be said to Jerusalem, Have no fear: O Zion, let not your hands be feeble.	Sophonie 3:16 En ce jour-là, on dira à Jérusalem: Ne crains rien! Sion, que tes mains ne s`affaiblissent pas!
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God is among you, as a strong saviour: he will be glad over you with joy, he will make his love new again, he will make a song of joy over you as in the time of a holy feast.	Sophonie 3:17 L`Éternel, ton Dieu, est au milieu de toi, comme un héros qui sauve; Il fera de toi sa plus grande joie; Il gardera le silence dans son amour; Il aura pour toi des transports d`allégresse.
Zephaniah 3:18 I will take away your troubles, lifting up your shame from off you.	Sophonie 3:18 Je rassemblerai ceux qui sont dans la tristesse, loin des fêtes solennelles, Ceux qui sont sortis de ton sein; L`opprobre pèse sur eux.
Zephaniah 3:19 See, at that time I will put an end to all who have been troubling you: I will give salvation to her whose steps are uncertain, and get together her who has been sent in flight; and I will make them a cause of praise and an honoured name in all the earth, when I let their fate be changed.	Sophonie 3:19 Voici, en ce temps-là, j`agirai contre tous tes oppresseurs; Je délivrerai les boiteux et je recueillerai ceux qui ont été chassés, Je ferai d`eux un sujet de louange et de gloire Dans tous les pays où ils sont en opprobre.
Zephaniah 3:20 At that time I will make you come in, at that time I will get you together: for I will make you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth when I let your fate be changed before your eyes, says the Lord.	Sophonie 3:20 En ce temps-là, je vous ramènerai; En ce temps-là, je vous rassemblerai; Car je ferai de vous un sujet de gloire et de louange Parmi tous les peuples de la terre, Quand je ramènerai vos captifs sous vos yeux, Dit l`Éternel.
