Isaiah 66:1 The Lord says, Heaven is the seat of my power, and earth is the resting-place for my feet: what sort of house will you make for me, and what place will be my resting-place?	Esaïe 66:1 Ainsi parle l`Éternel: Le ciel est mon trône, Et la terre mon marchepied. Quelle maison pourriez-vous me bâtir, Et quel lieu me donneriez-vous pour demeure?
Isaiah 66:2 For all these things my hand has made, and they are mine, says the Lord; but to this man only will I give attention, to him who is poor and broken in spirit, fearing my word.	Esaïe 66:2 Toutes ces choses, ma main les a faites, Et toutes ont reçu l`existence, dit l`Éternel. Voici sur qui je porterai mes regards: Sur celui qui souffre et qui a l`esprit abattu, Sur celui qui craint ma parole.
Isaiah 66:3 He who puts an ox to death puts a man to death; he who makes an offering of a lamb puts a dog to death; he who makes a meal offering makes an offering of pig's blood; he who makes an offering of perfumes for a sign gives worship to an image: as they have gone after their desires, and their soul takes pleasure in their disgusting things;	Esaïe 66:3 Celui qui immole un boeuf est comme celui qui tuerait un homme, Celui qui sacrifie un agneau est comme celui qui romprait la nuque à un chien, Celui qui présente une offrande est comme celui qui répandrait du sang de porc, Celui qui brûle de l`encens est comme celui qui adorerait des idoles; Tous ceux-là se complaisent dans leurs voies, Et leur âme trouve du plaisir dans leurs abominations.
Isaiah 66:4 So I will go after trouble for them, and will send on them what they are fearing: because no one made answer to my voice, or gave ear to my word; but they did what was evil in my eyes, going after that in which I took no pleasure.	Esaïe 66:4 Moi aussi, je me complairai dans leur infortune, Et je ferai venir sur eux ce qui cause leur effroi, Parce que j`ai appelé, et qu`ils n`ont point répondu, Parce que j`ai parlé, et qu`ils n`ont point écouté; Mais ils ont fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux, Et ils ont choisi ce qui me déplaît.
Isaiah 66:5 Give ear to the word of the Lord, you who are in fear at his word: your countrymen, hating you, and driving you out because of my name, have said, Let the Lord's glory be made clear, so that we may see your joy; but they will be put to shame.	Esaïe 66:5 Écoutez la parole de l`Éternel, Vous qui craignez sa parole. Voici ce que disent vos frères, Qui vous haïssent et vous repoussent A cause de mon nom: Que l`Éternel montre sa gloire, Et que nous voyions votre joie! -Mais ils seront confondus.
Isaiah 66:6 There is a noise of war from the town, a sound from the Temple, the voice of the Lord giving punishment to his haters.	Esaïe 66:6 Une voix éclatante sort de la ville, Une voix sort du temple. C`est la voix de l`Éternel, Qui paie à ses ennemis leur salaire.
Isaiah 66:7 Before her pains came, she gave birth; before her pains, she gave birth to a man-child.	Esaïe 66:7 Avant d`éprouver les douleurs, Elle a enfanté; Avant que les souffrances lui vinssent, Elle a donné naissance à un fils.
Isaiah 66:8 When has such a story come to men's ears? who has seen such things? will a land come to birth in one day? will a nation be given birth in a minute? For when Zion's pains came on her, she gave birth to her children straight away.	Esaïe 66:8 Qui a jamais entendu pareille chose? Qui a jamais vu rien de semblable? Un pays peut-il naître en un jour? Une nation est-elle enfantée d`un seul coup? A peine en travail, Sion a enfanté ses fils!
Isaiah 66:9 Will I by whom the birth was started, not make it complete? says the Lord. Will I who make children come to birth, let them be kept back? says your God.	Esaïe 66:9 Ouvrirais-je le sein maternel, Pour ne pas laisser enfanter? dit l`Éternel; Moi, qui fais naître, Empêcherais-je d`enfanter? dit ton Dieu.
Isaiah 66:10 Have joy with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you her lovers: take part in her joy, all you who are sorrowing for her:	Esaïe 66:10 Réjouissez-vous avec Jérusalem, Faites d`elle le sujet de votre allégresse, Vous tous qui l`aimez; Tressaillez avec elle de joie, Vous tous qui menez deuil sur elle;
Isaiah 66:11 So that you may take of the comfort flowing from her breasts, and be delighted with the full measure of her glory.	Esaïe 66:11 Afin que vous soyez nourris et rassasiés Du lait de ses consolations, Afin que vous savouriez avec bonheur La plénitude de sa gloire.
Isaiah 66:12 For the Lord says, See, I will make her peace like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream, and she will take her children in her arms, gently caring for them on her knees.	Esaïe 66:12 Car ainsi parle l`Éternel: Voici, je dirigerai vers elle la paix comme un fleuve, Et la gloire des nations comme un torrent débordé, Et vous serez allaités; Vous serez portés sur les bras, Et caressés sur les genoux.
Isaiah 66:13 As to one who is comforted by his mother, so will I give you comfort: and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.	Esaïe 66:13 Comme un homme que sa mère console, Ainsi je vous consolerai; Vous serez consolés dans Jérusalem.
Isaiah 66:14 And you will see it and your heart will be glad, and your bones will get new strength, like young grass: and the hand of the Lord will be seen at work for his servants, and his wrath against his haters.	Esaïe 66:14 Vous le verrez, et votre coeur sera dans la joie, Et vos os reprendront de la vigueur comme l`herbe; L`Éternel manifestera sa puissance envers ses serviteurs, Mais il fera sentir sa colère à ses ennemis.
Isaiah 66:15 For the Lord is coming with fire, and his war-carriages will be like the storm-wind; to give punishment in the heat of his wrath, and his passion is like flames of fire.	Esaïe 66:15 Car voici, l`Éternel arrive dans un feu, Et ses chars sont comme un tourbillon; Il convertit sa colère en un brasier, Et ses menaces en flammes de feu.
Isaiah 66:16 For with fire and sword will the Lord come, judging all the earth, and his sword will be on all flesh: and great numbers will be put to death by him.	Esaïe 66:16 C`est par le feu que l`Éternel exerce ses jugements, C`est par son glaive qu`il châtie toute chair; Et ceux que tuera l`Éternel seront en grand nombre.
Isaiah 66:17 As for those who keep themselves separate, and make themselves clean in the gardens, going after one in the middle, taking pig's flesh for food, and other disgusting things, such as the mouse: their works and their thoughts will come to an end together, says the Lord.	Esaïe 66:17 Ceux qui se sanctifient et se purifient dans les jardins, Au milieu desquels ils vont un à un, Qui mangent de la chair de porc, Des choses abominables et des souris, Tous ceux-là périront, dit l`Éternel.
Isaiah 66:18 And I am coming to get together all nations and tongues: and they will come and will see my glory.	Esaïe 66:18 Je connais leurs oeuvres et leurs pensées. Le temps est venu de rassembler toutes les nations Et toutes les langues; Elles viendront et verront ma gloire.
Isaiah 66:19 And I will put a sign among them, and I will send those who are still living to the nations, to Tarshish, Put, and Lud, Meshech and Rosh, Tubal and Javan, to the sea-lands far away, who have not had word of me, or seen my glory; and they will give the knowledge of my glory to the nations.	Esaïe 66:19 Je mettrai un signe parmi elles, Et j`enverrai leurs réchappés vers les nations, A Tarsis, à Pul et à Lud, qui tirent de l`arc, A Tubal et à Javan, Aux îles lointaines, Qui jamais n`ont entendu parler de moi, Et qui n`ont pas vu ma gloire; Et ils publieront ma gloire parmi les nations.
Isaiah 66:20 And they will take your countrymen out of all the nations for an offering to the Lord, on horses, and in carriages, and in carts, and on asses, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the Lord, as the children of Israel take their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.	Esaïe 66:20 Ils amèneront tous vos frères du milieu de toutes les nations, En offrande à l`Éternel, Sur des chevaux, des chars et des litières, Sur des mulets et des dromadaires, A ma montagne sainte, A Jérusalem, dit l`Éternel, Comme les enfants d`Israël apportent leur offrande, Dans un vase pur, A la maison de l`Éternel.
Isaiah 66:21 And some of them will I take for priests and Levites, says the Lord.	Esaïe 66:21 Et je prendrai aussi parmi eux Des sacrificateurs, des Lévites, dit l`Éternel.
Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heaven and the new earth which I will make will be for ever before me, says the Lord, so will your seed and your name be for ever.	Esaïe 66:22 Car, comme les nouveaux cieux Et la nouvelle terre que je vais créer Subsisteront devant moi, dit l`Éternel, Ainsi subsisteront votre postérité et votre nom.
Isaiah 66:23 And it will be, that from new moon to new moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh will come to give worship before me, says the Lord.	Esaïe 66:23 A chaque nouvelle lune et à chaque sabbat, Toute chair viendra se prosterner devant moi, dit l`Éternel.
Isaiah 66:24 And they will go out to see the dead bodies of the men who have done evil against me: for their worm will ever be living, and their fire will never be put out, and they will be a thing of fear to all flesh.	Esaïe 66:24 Et quand on sortira, on verra Les cadavres des hommes qui se sont rebellés contre moi; Car leur ver ne mourra point, et leur feu ne s`éteindra point; Et ils seront pour toute chair un objet d`horreur.
