Proverbs 27:1 Do not make a noise about tomorrow, for you are not certain what a day's outcome may be.	Proverbes 27:1 Ne te vante pas du lendemain, Car tu ne sais pas ce qu`un jour peut enfanter.
Proverbs 27:2 Let another man give you praise, and not your mouth; one who is strange to you, and not your lips.	Proverbes 27:2 Qu`un autre te loue, et non ta bouche, Un étranger, et non tes lèvres.
Proverbs 27:3 A stone has great weight, and sand is crushing; but the wrath of the foolish is of greater weight than these.	Proverbes 27:3 La pierre est pesante et le sable est lourd, Mais l`humeur de l`insensé pèse plus que l`un et l`autre.
Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is cruel, and angry feeling an overflowing stream; but who does not give way before envy?	Proverbes 27:4 La fureur est cruelle et la colère impétueuse, Mais qui résistera devant la jalousie?
Proverbs 27:5 Better is open protest than love kept secret.	Proverbes 27:5 Mieux vaut une réprimande ouverte Qu`une amitié cachée.
Proverbs 27:6 The wounds of a friend are given in good faith, but the kisses of a hater are false.	Proverbes 27:6 Les blessures d`un ami prouvent sa fidélité, Mais les baisers d`un ennemi sont trompeurs.
Proverbs 27:7 The full man has no use for honey, but to the man in need of food every bitter thing is sweet.	Proverbes 27:7 Celui qui est rassasié foule aux pieds le rayon de miel, Mais celui qui a faim trouve doux tout ce qui est amer.
Proverbs 27:8 Like a bird wandering from the place of her eggs is a man wandering from his station.	Proverbes 27:8 Comme l`oiseau qui erre loin de son nid, Ainsi est l`homme qui erre loin de son lieu.
Proverbs 27:9 Oil and perfume make glad the heart, and the wise suggestion of a friend is sweet to the soul.	Proverbes 27:9 L`huile et les parfums réjouissent le coeur, Et les conseils affectueux d`un ami sont doux.
Proverbs 27:10 Do not give up your friend and your father's friend; and do not go into your brother's house in the day of your trouble: better is a neighbour who is near than a brother far off.	Proverbes 27:10 N`abandonne pas ton ami et l`ami de ton père, Et n`entre pas dans la maison de ton frère au jour de ta détresse; Mieux vaut un voisin proche qu`un frère éloigné.
Proverbs 27:11 My son, be wise and make my heart glad, so that I may give back an answer to him who puts me to shame.	Proverbes 27:11 Mon fils, sois sage, et réjouis mon coeur, Et je pourrai répondre à celui qui m`outrage.
Proverbs 27:12 The sharp man sees the evil and takes cover: the simple go straight on and get into trouble.	Proverbes 27:12 L`homme prudent voit le mal et se cache; Les simples avancent et sont punis.
Proverbs 27:13 Take a man's clothing if he makes himself responsible for a strange man, and get an undertaking from him who gives his word for strange men.	Proverbes 27:13 Prends son vêtement, car il a cautionné autrui; Exige de lui des gages, à cause des étrangers.
Proverbs 27:14 He who gives a blessing to his friend with a loud voice, getting up early in the morning, will have it put to his account as a curse.	Proverbes 27:14 Si l`on bénit son prochain à haute voix et de grand matin, Cela est envisagé comme une malédiction.
Proverbs 27:15 Like an unending dropping on a day of rain is a bitter-tongued woman.	Proverbes 27:15 Une gouttière continue dans un jour de pluie Et une femme querelleuse sont choses semblables.
Proverbs 27:16 He who keeps secret the secret of his friend, will get himself a name for good faith.	Proverbes 27:16 Celui qui la retient retient le vent, Et sa main saisit de l`huile.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron makes iron sharp; so a man makes sharp his friend.	Proverbes 27:17 Comme le fer aiguise le fer, Ainsi un homme excite la colère d`un homme.
Proverbs 27:18 Whoever keeps a fig-tree will have its fruit; and the servant waiting on his master will be honoured.	Proverbes 27:18 Celui qui soigne un figuier en mangera le fruit, Et celui qui garde son maître sera honoré.
Proverbs 27:19 Like face looking at face in water, so are the hearts of men to one another.	Proverbes 27:19 Comme dans l`eau le visage répond au visage, Ainsi le coeur de l`homme répond au coeur de l`homme.
Proverbs 27:20 The underworld and Abaddon are never full, and the eyes of man have never enough.	Proverbes 27:20 Le séjour des morts et l`abîme sont insatiables; De même les yeux de l`homme sont insatiables.
Proverbs 27:21 The heating-pot is for silver and the oven-fire for gold, and a man is measured by what he is praised for.	Proverbes 27:21 Le creuset est pour l`argent, et le fourneau pour l`or; Mais un homme est jugé d`après sa renommée.
Proverbs 27:22 Even if a foolish man is crushed with a hammer in a vessel among crushed grain, still his foolish ways will not go from him.	Proverbes 27:22 Quand tu pilerais l`insensé dans un mortier, Au milieu des grains avec le pilon, Sa folie ne se séparerait pas de lui.
Proverbs 27:23 Take care to have knowledge about the condition of your flocks, looking well after your herds;	Proverbes 27:23 Connais bien chacune de tes brebis, Donne tes soins à tes troupeaux;
Proverbs 27:24 For wealth is not for ever, and money does not go on for all generations.	Proverbes 27:24 Car la richesse ne dure pas toujours, Ni une couronne éternellement.
Proverbs 27:25 The grass comes up and the young grass is seen, and the mountain plants are got in.	Proverbes 27:25 Le foin s`enlève, la verdure paraît, Et les herbes des montagnes sont recueillies.
Proverbs 27:26 The lambs are for your clothing, and the he-goats make the value of a field:	Proverbes 27:26 Les agneaux sont pour te vêtir, Et les boucs pour payer le champ;
Proverbs 27:27 There will be goats' milk enough for your food, and for the support of your servant-girls.	Proverbes 27:27 Le lait des chèvres suffit à ta nourriture, à celle de ta maison, Et à l`entretien de tes servantes.
