Ecclesiastes 11:1 Put out your bread on the face of the waters; for after a long time it will come back to you again.	Der Prediger 11:1 Laß dein Brot über das Wasser fahren, so wirst du es finden nach langer Zeit.
Ecclesiastes 11:2 Give a part to seven or even to eight, because you have no knowledge of the evil which will be on the earth.	Der Prediger 11:2 Teile aus unter sieben und unter acht; denn du weißt nicht, was für Unglück auf Erden kommen wird.
Ecclesiastes 11:3 If the clouds are full of rain, they send it down on the earth; and if a tree comes down to the south, or the north, in whatever place it comes down, there it will be.	Der Prediger 11:3 Wenn die Wolken voll sind, so geben sie Regen auf die Erde; und wenn der Baum fällt, er falle gegen Mittag oder Mitternacht, auf welchen Ort er fällt, da wird er liegen.
Ecclesiastes 11:4 He who is watching the wind will not get the seed planted, and he who is looking at the clouds will not get in the grain.	Der Prediger 11:4 Wer auf den Wind achtet, der sät nicht; und wer auf die Wolken sieht, der erntet nicht.
Ecclesiastes 11:5 As you have no knowledge of the way of the wind, or of the growth of the bones in the body of her who is with child, even so you have no knowledge of the works of God who has made all.	Der Prediger 11:5 Gleichwie du nicht weißt den Weg des Windes und wie die Gebeine in Mutterleibe bereitet werden, also kannst du auch Gottes Werk nicht wissen, das er tut überall.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 In the morning put your seed into the earth, and till the evening let not your hand be at rest; because you are not certain which will do well, this or that--or if the two will be equally good.	Der Prediger 11:6 Frühe säe deinen Samen und laß deine Hand des Abends nicht ab; denn du weißt nicht, ob dies oder das geraten wird; und ob beides geriete, so wäre es desto besser.
Ecclesiastes 11:7 Truly the light is sweet, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun.	Der Prediger 11:7 Es ist das Licht süß, und den Augen lieblich, die Sonne zu sehen.
Ecclesiastes 11:8 But even if a man's life is long and he has joy in all his years, let him keep in mind the dark days, because they will be great in number. Whatever may come is to no purpose.	Der Prediger 11:8 Wenn ein Mensch viele Jahre lebt, so sei er fröhlich in ihnen allen und gedenke der finstern Tage, daß ihrer viel sein werden; denn alles, was kommt, ist eitel.
Ecclesiastes 11:9 Have joy, O young man, while you are young; and let your heart be glad in the days of your strength, and go in the ways of your heart, and in the desire of your eyes; but be certain that for all these things God will be your judge.	Der Prediger 11:9 So freue dich, Jüngling, in deiner Jugend und laß dein Herz guter Dinge sein in deiner Jugend. Tue, was dein Herz gelüstet und deinen Augen gefällt, und wisse, daß dich Gott um dies alles wird vor Gericht führen.
Ecclesiastes 11:10 So put away trouble from your heart, and sorrow from your flesh; because the early years and the best years are to no purpose.	Der Prediger 11:10 Laß die Traurigkeit in deinem Herzen und tue das Übel von deinem Leibe; denn Kindheit und Jugend ist eitel.
