| The altar of burned offerings he made of hard wood; a square altar, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high, | Und er machte den Brandopferaltar von Akazienholz, fünf Ellen lang und breit, gleich viereckig, und drei Ellen hoch. |
| And he put horns at its four angles made of the same, plating it all with brass; | Und machte vier Hörner, die aus ihm gingen auf seinen vier Ecken, und überzog sie mit Erz. |
| And brass was used for all the vessels of the altar, the baskets and the spades, the basins and the meat-hooks and the fire-trays; all the vessels he made of brass | Und machte allerlei Geräte zu dem Altar: Aschentöpfe, Schaufeln, Becken, Gabeln, Kohlenpfannen, alles aus Erz. |
| And he made a network of brass for the altar, under the frame round it, stretching half-way up; | Und machte am Altar ein Gitter wie ein Netz von Erz umher, von untenauf bis an die Hälfte des Altars. |
| And four rings for the four angles of this network, to take the rods. | Und goß vier Ringe an die vier Enden des ehernen Gitters für die Stangen. |
| The rods he made of hard wood plated with brass. | Dieselben machte er aus Akazienholz und überzog sie mit Erz |
| He put the rods through the rings at the opposite sides of the altar for lifting it; he made the altar hollow, boarded in with wood. | und tat sie in die Ringe an den Seiten des Altars, daß man ihn damit trüge; und machte ihn inwendig hohl. |
| And he made the washing-vessel of brass on a brass base, using the polished brass looking-glasses given by the women who did work at the doors of the Tent of meeting. | Und machte ein Handfaß von Erz und seinen Fuß auch von Erz aus Spiegeln der Weiber, die vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts dienten. |
| To make the open space, he put hangings on the south side, of the best linen, a hundred cubits long: | Und er machte den Vorhof: Gegen Mittag mit einem Umhang, hundert Ellen lang, von gezwirnter weißer Leinwand, |
| Their twenty pillars and their twenty bases were brass; and the hooks of the pillars and their bands were of silver. | mit seinen zwanzig Säulen und zwanzig Füßen von Erz, aber ihre Haken und Querstäbe von Silber; |
| And for the north side. hangings a hundred cubits long, on twenty brass pillars in brass bases, with silver hooks and bands. | desgleichen gegen Mitternacht hundert Ellen mit zwanzig Säulen und zwanzig Füßen von Erz, aber ihre Haken und Querstäbe von Silber; |
| And on the west side, hangings fifty cubits long, on ten pillars in ten bases, with silver bands. | gegen Abend aber fünfzig Ellen mit zehn Säulen und zehn Füßen, aber ihre Haken und Querstäbe von Silber; |
| And on the east side, the open space was fifty cubits long. | gegen Morgen auch fünfzig Ellen; |
| The hangings on one side of the doorway were fifteen cubits long, on three pillars with their three bases; | fünfzehn Ellen auf einer Seite mit drei Säulen und drei Füßen, |
| And the same on the other side of the doorway; on this side and on that the hangings were fifteen cubits long, on three pillars with their three bases. | und auf der andern Seite auch fünfzehn Ellen mit drei Säulen und drei Füßen, daß ihrer so viele waren an der einen Seite des Tors am Vorhofe als an der andern. |
| All the hangings were of the best linen. | Alle Umhänge des Vorhofs waren von gezwirnter weißer Leinwand |
| And the bases of the pillars were of brass; their hooks and the bands round the tops of them were of silver; all the pillars were ringed with silver. | und die Füße der Säulen von Erz und ihre Haken und Querstäbe von Silber, also daß ihre Köpfe überzogen waren mit Silber. Und ihre Querstäbe waren silbern an allen Säulen des Vorhofs. |
| And the curtain for the doorway of the open space was of the best linen, with designs of blue and purple and red in needlework; it was twenty cubits long and five cubits high, to go with the hangings round the sides. | Und das Tuch in dem Tor des Vorhofs machte er gestickt von blauem und rotem Purpur, Scharlach und gezwirnter weißer Leinwand, zwanzig Ellen lang und fünf Ellen hoch, nach dem Maß der Umhänge des Vorhofs. |
| There were four pillars with their bases, all of brass, the hooks being of silver, and their tops and their bands being covered with silver. | Dazu vier Säulen und vier Füße von Erz, und ihre Haken von Silber und ihre Köpfe und ihre Querstäbe überzogen mit Silber. |
| All the nails used for the House and the open space round it were of brass. | Und alle Nägel der Wohnung und des Vorhofs ringsherum waren von Erz. |
| This is the price of the making of the House, even the House of witness, as it was valued by the word of Moses, for the work of the Levites under the direction of Ithamar, the son of Aaron the priest. | Das ist nun die Summe zu der Wohnung des Zeugnisses, die gezählt ward, wie Mose geboten hatte, durch den Dienst der Leviten unter der Hand Ithamars, des Sohnes Aarons, des Priesters. |
| Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made everything as the Lord had given orders to Moses. | Bezaleel, der Sohn Uris, des Sohnes Hur, vom Stamme Juda, machte alles, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte, |
| And with him was Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; a designer and a trained workman, expert in needlework of blue and purple and red and the best linen. | und mit ihm Oholiab, der Sohn Ahisamachs, vom Stamme Dan, ein Meister zu schneiden, zu wirken und zu sticken mit blauem und rotem Purpur, Scharlach und weißer Leinwand. |
| The gold used for all the different work done for the holy place, the gold which was given, was twenty-nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels in weight, by the scale of the holy place. | Alles Gold, das verarbeitet ist in diesem ganzen Werk des Heiligtums, das zum Webeopfer gegeben ward, ist neunundzwanzig Zentner siebenhundertunddreißig Lot nach dem Lot des Heiligtums. |
| And the silver given by those who were numbered of the people was a hundred talents, and a thousand, seven hundred and seventy-five shekels in weight, by the scale of the holy place. | Des Silbers aber, das von der Gemeinde kam, war hundert Zentner tausendsiebenhundertfünfzig Lot nach dem Lot des Heiligtums: |
| A beka, that is, half a shekel by the holy scale, for everyone who was numbered; there were six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty men of twenty years old and over. | so manch Haupt, so manch halbes Lot nach dem Lot des Heiligtums, von allen, die gezählt wurden von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, sechshundertmaltausend dreitausend fünfhundertundfünfzig. |
| Of this silver, a hundred talents was used for making the bases of the pillars of the holy place and of the veil; a talent for every base. | Aus den hundert Zentnern Silber goß man die Füße des Heiligtums und die Füße des Vorhangs, hundert Füße aus hundert Zentnern, je einen Zentner zum Fuß. |
| And a thousand, seven hundred and seventy-five shekels of silver was used to make the hooks for the pillars, and for plating the tops of the pillars and for making their bands. | Aber aus tausend siebenhundert und fünfundsiebzig Loten wurden gemacht der Säulen Haken, und ihre Köpfe überzogen und ihre Querstäbe. |
| The brass which was given was seventy talents, two thousand four hundred shekels; | Das Webeopfer aber des Erzes war siebzig Zentner zweitausendvierhundert Lot. |
| From it he made the bases of the doorway of the Tent of meeting and the brass altar and the network for it and all the vessels for the altar, | Daraus wurden gemacht die Füße in der Tür der Hütte des Stifts und der eherne Altar und das eherne Gitter daran und alle Geräte des Altars, |
| And the bases for the open space all round and for its doorway, and all the nails for the House and for the open space. | dazu die Füße des Vorhofs ringsherum und die Füße des Tores am Vorhofe, alle Nägel der Wohnung und alle Nägel des Vorhofs ringsherum. |
